A separate sensation in our house of tree trunks.Well honest, but it was actually comic.Jammer that there was no freezer in the fridge, certainly because it was incredibly hot.We have gone home earlier because we have the temperature (30 degrees ) Could not get out of our house anymore. Sleeping in the outdoors was not an option by the mosquitoes. We had ever thought that we had to heat the heat in June. Around the cottage was a lot of freedom. Dog had to walk loose. We looked at the fish pond And were awoken by the birds. Honestly really of course.The service was excellent.The reception was warm, in short we had 2 nice weeks.

Setting is lovely. Reception very cordial. Kitchen equipment very incomplete to cook for five people. House moderately cleaned. Lots of dust and cobwebs. Bedrooms are very noisy. If everyone is snoring next to you. Minimal storage for toiletries. Shower poorly regulated. Too cold / too hot. Around the house is good and beautiful terrace. Barbeque unfortunately can not be used as previous guests have used it as an ashtray. When you pay for the cleaning of the house can really cleaner!

I was in the area for a workshop with my dog, this cottage was a great base. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. The beds slept fine, the area is rural and quiet, "the night we were sung to sleep by the frogs. The floor was good to keep clean of hair and hondenpoten.Het are nice houses from wood balken.Mocht I turn around for a multi-day workshop I will again rent this house (and this time clean out my fridge).

6 people and 3 dogs is a bit cramped but goes prima.Prachtige location at a pond where the dogs were tasty zwemmen.Qua maid had something better could have been a lot of cobwebs and shower was not quite schoon.Pannen outdated loose handles and broken cups. but if that is the only one like it not stand to go back there x us, had great relaxing holiday with the dogs!

We have been there with 3 dogs and we have to see and do it all well for our purposes gehad.In around a lot, the dogs went to the Lemele Mountain and for art lovers is recommended the town Oot Marsem. The site was supper ... the dogs enjoyed the big pond where they could relax in zwemmen.Zeker worth repeating.

Unfortunately, the holiday home is not clean, there are dead animals like flies everywhere and there is no cleaning material available. On the terrace there are still seeds from the previous tenant under the table, the grill is not clean and the old charcoal is still in it. The room doors don't close properly and don't stay closed, the bathroom is open all the time because the door doesn't close properly. And there, too, the cobwebs are under the ceiling as in almost every room.

Cleaning supplies are not to be found in the house with which you could clean something yourself and the house is otherwise a flop. Between the bars there are more animals such as small spiders, woodworm and flies that are very difficult to get out.

Even the front door gets stuck on the gutter, where the owner only said the roof was sagging due to the moisture, but this was normal.

The panes of glass in the windows have not been cleaned for a long time.

The mattresses of the beds are completely soiled and covered in stains, so they end up not offering a peaceful and healthy sleep.



The dogs of the owners always just want to play and won't rest. They also bark at night when you would actually like to close your eyes.

The so-called holiday park also turned out to be a campsite.

The only thing that is reasonably beautiful is the environment and its nature.

If we had known earlier that this log cabin is in such a miserable condition we would not have booked it.

Shame for the money.

Didn't know it's in the owner's yard. Can't find it in the description either. No privacy. The owner's dogs just walk in your garden, and there is no point in sending them away. As a result, my dogs had to stay indoors. House lets wind through, in some places you can look outside. Bad experience ever.

We zijn hier voor een vakantie vanwege ons huwelijksjubileum. Vaak is het lastig met alle dieren een plekje te vinden. We kwamen per toeval hier uit en wat hebben we daar geen spijt van. De honden en papegaai genieten en wij ook. De hottub elke avond aan en vooral heel veel relaxen. De natuur is prachtig vele vogels in de omgeving en we genieten daar ook erg van. De honden van het park zijn ontzettend netjes opgevoed ze komen alleen spelen maar met de deuren open zullen ze geen stap binnen zetten. Ook reageren ze heel netjes op onze eigen honden. Kortom voor natuur mensen is dit echt genieten.

Full of surprise and disappointment, we look forward to this anything but clean and maintained house. Angry, sad and hugely disappointed how they just rent out this cottage to say the least. The inside is too dirty for words, it stinks and it looks like nothing has been done about maintenance for 15 years and is dangerous. Equally good to mention that we do not expect a house that was just completed 2 weeks ago at a rental house, but that proper maintenance has been carried out and that it is properly cleaned. We are not used to this from natuurhuisje.nl. As it turned out, we did indeed book via the website of Natuurhuisje.nl, but we were linked to Belvilla. We regularly book at Natuurhuisje.nl, this is always very good, especially because the house is always alone on the property of the owners, which was unfortunately different with the house of the Spotted Woodpecker in Hoge Hexel, because this is on a (albeit small) recreation park, which we were not aware of. • The house is really dirty! The smell that hangs in the house can be called dirty. No idea what it is exactly, what we see, the house was built 15 years ago and has never been repaired in terms of maintenance. It was also anything but finished at the time, which you now experience the disadvantages of. • Everywhere, really everywhere you look there is fly shit and swatted flies. The fly corpses are just stuck to the couch.• The hand and tea towel provided stank for an hour in the wind, as if they had also been used by the previous 5 residents.• In the living room, bathroom and the hallway you can hear gnawing in the wood of woodworms.• The front door only opens for 1/4, because the gutter is too low. The cottage was cozy and nice, but very basic. fine. It was beautiful on a water and enjoyed the herons and frogs. We had great space around the door for the teenagers to play badminton, etc. Very nice that there was garden furniture, with cushions. Appliances in the kitchen were clean which is nice. Because the house is built of wooden poles, I understand that there is dust "everywhere" on the wood and that there are fast webs. The place is fantastic, especially for people who seek peace. Unfortunately, the log cabin and inventory was not really clean and the bedding was washed unironed, worn and adjusted not really presentable. Luckily my daughter was nearby who brought us clean bedding. The sofa is heavily weathered not to sit and is very bad for your back. We don't have much good to say about furnishing. We suffered from clogged sewer which was resolved very quickly, our compliments for this. For us, despite beautiful place, not worth repeating.

The facilities of the cottage are good; the bedrooms are noisy and the hallway to the shower / toilet a bit narrow. The location is rural and quiet; we were there with very warm weather and unfortunately we were bitten by mosquitoes and midges. Possibly due to the proximity of the pond. The landlords are friendly / hospitable and had small defects (light does not work) immediately rectified.

Been 1 time before so this was our 2nd time and it was fantastic again. On arrival again kindly received. The weather was also good. You can enjoy fishing there in the fishing pond full of carp large and small.The cottage and type of log cabin is fine, cozy and everything is available.Outside there is the hot tub firing itself with wood that is brought on request.Every evening in the hot tub that is wonderfully relaxing under the stars and then you sleep well.Verder you can also enjoy walking. For a week of relaxation it is wonderfully quiet there with friendly people.Wij will go again this autumn for a week. Greetings Peter.

We travelled from Ireland with 2 Adults and 3 Kids and had the most wonderful time in Hoge Hexel and Holland in general. We had a pond right beside us, stocked with fish which my eldest was extremely happy about and there was a outdoor hottub, which we used every evening. The owners were very friendly, accommodating and helpful any time we required something. We were given plenty of advice and tips, regarding where would be the best places locally to visit, Bad Bentheim in Germany is only 30 minutes approx by car and there's a big castle there. Without hesitation, i would strongly recommend staying here and would hope that everyone else who does, would experience the same joy as we did.

The place was nice but there was no freezer in the fridge, there were no cushions for the garden chairs. The shower gave a little trickle and the hot tub where you actually book this caravan was definitely not enough. There is wood but when it rains it gets wet. It is wood which does not burn at all. We have bought logs at the super market, so you have to put in more than the hot tub does well, but it does cost extra money.

The park is quiet. The accommodation is good. The area is natural and very quiet. The entrance to the recreation park looks a bit messy, due to building materials, debris and machines that stand here and there. Incidentally, you have no further problems when you are in the chalet.

The reception by the landlady was very friendly. The house and the outside area clean and well equipped. Outside there is no privacy compared to the other houses and their inhabitants. Nevertheless, we felt comfortable with the two dogs. For hiking, walking and cycling is the province of Overijssel ideal, the Vechttal is only a few minutes drive away, but right at the house there are few opportunities for a short walk with the dogs.

We found the cottage completely full of dogs hair as we are allergic this really is a nightmare for us. We cleaned the whole house with cleaning wipes but every day came again hairs against the sizes and vacuum cleaner was also completely below so we were happy that we were back home despite the beautiful surroundings still a little to enjoy

We had a wonderful holiday in the woods bungalow at the recreation park De Bonte Specht in Hoge Hexel. The cottage was fine for our company, namely 2 people and 3 dogs.
