We had a great time at Buitenplaats Holten, The place was super clean and comfortable, we really felt at home, I loved that we could just walk to the pool in slippers, the kids had a blast! The kitchen was well equipped, which made cooking easy, The only downside was the distance to some attractions, but honestly, the surrounding nature was an excellent compensation, I would really love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay in this modern chalet! The location is perfect for nature lovers, with the great Sallandse Heuvelrug just a short drive away. Our children loved the nearby swimming pool, which was just a flip-flop walk away. The chalet was cozy and well-equipped, making it an ideal retreat after our outdoor adventures. The outdoor seating area was a great place to relax and enjoy the view of the garden. Highly recommended for families!

When we entered it was still very dirty and we cleaned the house ourselves. Even when you read the guest book, you will be asked for 2 things. Mosquito nets and air conditioning. Screens are necessary, because there are 100 animals flying in and air conditioning because it can get about 30 degrees inside while it is only 25 degrees outside. You don't want to open the bedroom window while sleeping because of the mosquitoes, but otherwise it is too hot again. I don't understand why everyone is asking for it and nothing is being done about it. You pay a lot of money for such a house and I don't think it's worth it at all.
