The accommodation in this park is centred in a separate area of the park, near all central facilities. There is a varied offer, among others, the 4-pers. Lodge (NL-7115-05); an atmospheric luxurious holiday chalet with a kitchen with all mod cons, spacious bathroom, box spring beds for four people and a veranda. Another equivalent option is the 6-pers. Lodge with Hayloft (NL-7115-06), a very spacious holiday chalet with three bedrooms (of which one in the hayloft). All accommodation is equally comfortable and nicely furnished.
The second type bridges classic camping and luxury accommodation: Glamping. This 5-pers. tent (NL-7115-07) is furnished attractively and comfortably in a wooden interior. The wood-burning stove completes the picture. The glamping tent naturally has its own kitchen and bathroom. This accommodation offers a panoramic view and has a large outside space with lounge benches and a picnic table.

Het Winkel is a vibrant recreation park in every regard! There are lots of options at the holiday park itself and in the surrounding area, offering entertainment for the whole family! There are various facilities for the kids, such as the large indoor play area, the outdoor swimming pool with an exciting water slide, a variety of athletic fields and the friendly recreation team. And of course there is plenty for the adults as well, such as the wonderful spa, which is the perfect place to unwind after a day of activity, and the restaurant with its pleasant coffee bar. Erve Brookert, a marvellous cultural legacy and national monument situated in the park, is also worth seeing.
Winterswijk and environs are perfect for hiking and cycling the beautiful Winterswijk National Landscape. MTB routes are also very popular in this area. Winterswijk's unique setting makes it a wonderful holiday destination. The location close to the German border makes it easy to take daytrips to Germany. For daytrips to Dutch cities, Doetinchem (about 37 km) and Enschede (about 40 km) are well worth a visit.
The many facilities, the beautiful location and the wide selection of accommodation options make Het Winkel the ideal holiday park for a wonderful stay.
Immediately (17-2-2020) the swimming pool on Cochem is closed due to a defect. In the meantime, guests will have the opportunity to swim at a subtropical swimming pool 4 to 5 km away in Cochem. Tickets for this pool can be picked up for free at the reception.
"Het Winkel" recreation park is located in a beautiful setting and offers options for all ages. A great destination in any season.

The peace and quiet was fantastic. The cottage was good with a handy covered terrace, so you can sit outside when it rains.

We were welcomed very friendly. The cottage was beautifully decorated and equipped with all modern conveniences. The beds were delicious. The location was fine. We had a nice, relaxing holiday.

Cottage is good, quiet location with lots of privacy. It is low season and the campsite seems deserted. In the season that will be different and then you will also lose the privacy around the house. It is a pity that many facilities are not open or are limited.
