We stayed here for a weekend with friends and we had a lot of fun. The house is spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The fireplace created a warm atmosphere during our game nights. Moreover, the bike paths nearby are a bonus for outdoor enthusiasts.

Het Kuisselt is a cozy, old house. Very quietly located with a large garden. The road to it is a challenge, unpaved with many, sometimes deep potholes. The house itself has enough space. The kitchen looks like it's from grandmother's time with a granite countertop and black/white floor tiles. We love that. The large stove and oven fit well with it and work perfectly. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The spacious utility room is also ideal. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathroom with bathtub, shower, toilet, and sink is well equipped. The only downside, we found, was that the kitchen, utility room, and dining room were not well heated. But we spent most of our time in the cozy living room, and it was nice and warm there. In short, we had a wonderful weekend at the Kruisselt and we would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the terrace and the beautiful garden.

Lovely house (even if not everything is modern) well equipped with the necessary comforts. From the house, you can walk straight into the forest. Wonderful wood stove (though the smoke smell increases in one of the bedrooms upon purchase). If the dining room chairs were replaced with more comfortable ones, it would be an even more than fantastic house.

The tawny owl also came to visit. House not suitable for people with limited mobility. The sandy roads where the house is located cause a lot of dust during a dry period. Do not use the wood stove, the chimney has some leakage right in the children's bedroom.

Nice little house, great location. Atmospheric. It's nice that there is a trash can in every room. Tips: -provide toilet roll holders -to enjoy dining, it is desirable to have good dishes and also some comfortable chairs.

Perfect for family or friend groups, and the BBQ grill creates a great atmosphere for summer nights. Free WiFi is a must, and it has a hot tub. 10/10 would recommend it for nature lovers and peace seekers.

Beautiful cottage and beautifully situated. Pleasant welcome.
But, the living room is so humid that it smells very unpleasant and airing it every day is not enough.
On arrival we were very happy that all bedrooms and the bathroom had a mosquito net, but in the end 3 of the 4 mosquito nets were broken. The walls were full of stains from dead insects. Cleaning these stains and a lick of paint here and there and a little more effort in the decoration of the bedrooms is not an unnecessary luxury. In the end I think the price - quality ratio is not really right. The beds are good and the large stove with oven, washing machine and dishwasher are a plus.

Small side note: the stairs to the top are high and steep, so if you have difficulty walking, it is a challenge.

You will receive the key to the cottage from a key safe. We had a week with a lot of rain, but fortunately there is a large waterproof umbrella. There is a nice BBQ. Bring your own BBQ tools. To turn on the TV, press the top left button on the SAMSUNG TV remote and the top right button on the Delta satellite dish remote. Zelhem has a recommended museum, Smedekinck, at Pluimersdijk 5, 7021 HW Zelhem. The entrance fee is €5 per person.

Bathrooms and bedrooms are well furnished with good beds and the bathroom has an excellent shower and bathtub, sink and toilet. The kitchen (with a great cooker) is small but is offset by a connecting room with a toilet room. Also, a washing machine and dryer and a dishwasher posted here. The large garden with a beautiful terrace makes everything complete for a beautiful holiday on the edge of a beautiful walking area. The typical living room with fireplace is very cozy. Nice place in the forest (unfortunately you can still hear the N-road quite well). Large house, with large garden. It's a bit of a shame that the hostess came by on the 2nd evening around 9 pm to ask if everything was clear (along with a row of housekeeping announcements) and a bit of a shame that there was only 1 set of kitchen linen ready (to last 12 days), and a bit of a shame that we both got back pain from the beds, but otherwise nothing to complain about. Saw squirrels in the garden every day and went for walks in the woods, wonderful!

What a great weekend I have had with some friends! Upon arriving everything was looked after and excelled and even a welcome gift was prepared. Nice shower and a very cozy sitting room. Very atmospheric. In Vorden we have made a solexrit, really delicious to explore the Achterhoek area in odor and color. Highly recommended!

After opening the back door was the first swallow, but after a quiet passage we found an authentic house in the true sense of the word. The kitchen cabinets could use a refurbishment, but it had clearly been renovated without losing sight of the authenticity. The bathroom was even equipped with a shower and bath, which is definitely a plus. Just a pity that with this warm weather the windows could not open to ventilate the house well. For the rest good beds and everything that needs to be there is also present. Thanks to the warm days we could eat outside so that we could fully enjoy the well-kept garden and the wooded surroundings. In short, this characteristic cottage can certainly be called a must.

We stayed 20 to 24 February at the house "The Kruisselt" and were delighted with the preserved authenticity of this old forest house. Inside, the rooms are equipped with all modern amenities. Bathrooms and bedrooms are well furnished with good beds and the bathroom has an excellent shower and bathtub, sink and toilet. The kitchen (with a great cooker) is small but is offset by a connecting room with a toilet room. Also, a washing machine and dryer and a dishwasher posted here. The large garden with a beautiful terrace makes everything complete for a beautiful holiday on the edge of a beautiful walking area. The typical living room with fireplace is very cozy. Also receive a welcome gift is very leuk.Een absolute must for 4 adults but there is also ample space for six people. Fam. Mulder and Finch.

The location of the cottage was wonderful to be together as a family. We were nice to us and could into the woods for a walk. unfortunately as "one weekend so over!

Lovely house, nicely decorated, very comfortable and clean. But the best we'll find the huge garden and the surrounding woods, where as you walk into from the garden. No traffic in the area, we only hear the birds and the rustle of the wind. We will definitely be back!

What a great weekend I have had with some friends! Upon arriving everything was looked after and excelled and even a welcome gift was prepared. Nice shower and a very cozy sitting room. Very atmospheric. In Vorden we have made a solexrit, really delicious to explore the Achterhoek area in odor and color. Highly recommended!

This authentic monumental house was a great place for us. The only thing we did not know was a hor at one of the 3 bedrooms, while the hor at the back door did not work well. Particularly large plot belonging to this house, beautifully situated in beautiful surroundings.

After opening the back door was the first swallow, but after a quiet passage we found an authentic house in the true sense of the word. The kitchen cabinets could use a refurbishment, but it had clearly been renovated without losing sight of the authenticity. The bathroom was even equipped with a shower and bath, which is definitely a plus. Just a pity that with this warm weather the windows could not open to ventilate the house well. For the rest good beds and everything that needs to be there is also present. Thanks to the warm days we could eat outside so that we could fully enjoy the well-kept garden and the wooded surroundings. In short, this characteristic cottage can certainly be called a must.

The location of the cottage is incredibly beautiful. From here you are directly in the forest and the cottage is located on the Pieterpad route. The cottage itself is simple in terms of decoration in the living and dining room, the bathroom and toilet downstairs are brand new and the utility room has the latest equipment. And the whole house was spotlessly clean. It is clearly maintained with care. The garden is gigantic and therefore closed safely with the children.

We had a wonderful week in this cozy, charming house. We especially loved the combination of the old elements and the modern comfort. Some people don't seem to like an old-fashioned kitchen and pantry with granite countertops; that is of course a matter of taste. We liked that and did not miss anything. Very special is of course also the location in the forest. You can walk or cycle straight from the house into the beautiful surroundings of the Achterhoek. We will definitely come back here and that says it all, right?

A cozy house in a quiet area. Everything you need to prepare your own meal. In warm weather you can sit outside in a large garden. We had changeable cold weather, so relax on the couch watching TV or DVDs, or reading a book in a warm room. Possibly with a burning wood stove, if you want. We had a week in the house in Zelhem in a quiet place in the forest with a very large garden - mainly grass - in a green area with nice places to relax. Enough opportunity to take beautiful walks from home. . The house was well cared for.

The area where the house is located is beautiful. The house itself we first cleaned and spiders free. It was indicated that it is a nature house so that the spiders belong but this was not for 2 weeks ..... Beds sleep well.
