At the Resort De Wije Werelt, opened in 2018, there are various types of detached holiday homes.
There is a one story, 4-person chalet (NL-6731-07) with two bedrooms, each with two single bed, which may or may not be in a 2 person setup. There is one bathroom with a shower and a toilet. Through the large windows in the living room, you have plenty of natural light. There is a parking space for one car at the chalet.
There is also a slightly smaller single story 4-person chalet (NL-6731-08). There are two bedrooms, one with a double boxspring bed and one with two single box spring beds. There is one bathroom with a shower and toilet. There is a parking space for one car at the chalet.
Finally, there is a single story 6-person forest lodge (NL-6731-09). Here you'll have three bedrooms, one with a double bed and two each with a two single beds. The third bedroom is a sleeping loft/bedstead (no headroom), accessible from the living room by means of a steep ladder (see photo). There is one bathroom with a shower and a toilet. You have access to a covered terrce. You can park in a central parking lot near to the forest lodge.
All holiday accommodations are modern, complete and comfortably furnished. There is always a (combi) microwave and dishwasher available. You always have a garden with a terrace and garden furniture.

Location and surroundings of object
Brand-new (2018) holiday resort De Wije Werelt is located 2.5km from the centre of Otterlo in Gelderland province. You're surrounded by nature here. De Hoge Veluwe National Park, for example, is only a stone's throw away. Parts of the resort are still under construction. Everything is being done to keep inconvenience to a bare minimum.
The holiday resort features many facilities for all ages. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind. There's a petting zoo, various playing fields and a heated swimming pool with paddling pool. On rainy days, children can enjoy themselves in the indoor playground. 'De Houtzagerij' consists of a nice family restaurant and a snack bar. Adjacent to the reception area, you'll find a breakfast shop. It offers a small selection of groceries, as well as take-away coffees and fresh bread rolls. You can even rent bicycles or a go-kart at the resort.
The surroundings offer some wonderful nature to explore. In fact, you can start some of the walking and cycling routes directly from the holiday resort. A little further afield, De Hoge Veluwe National Park offers a beautiful, diverse landscape of drifting sand, vast heaths and magnificent mixed and pine forests. You'll also be able to spot some interesting birds and other wildlife here.
If you want a change from nature and tranquillity, there are some nice, vibrant cities nearby that are worth a visit. Fashion city Arnhem (18km) for example, or the pleasant city of Nijmegen (49km), the Hanseatic city of Deventer (44km), Apeldoorn (24km), Amersfoort (39km), Utrecht (59km) or even capital city Amsterdam (81km) are all easy to get to by car as well as public transport. The towns all have their own character, but one thing you'll find everywhere is plenty of shops, restaurants and outdoor cafes. There's enough to discover in these towns for culture enthusiasts too. You won't even need to go far, as the famous Kröller-Müller museum, housing the second largest Van Gogh collection in the world, is practically around the corner. Burgers Zoo (12km) is also worth a visit. And for something completely different, go to the Simia high-rope adventure park (3km). Good for a few hours of treetop climbing fun.
Holiday resort De Wije Werelt is a beautiful resort set in natural surroundings with facilities for all ages. A perfect base to explore this beautiful region of the Netherlands.

A beautiful chalet. Good clean. It is only very warm in warm weather. I went to ask what rent an air conditioner cost, but that was 100 euros. That's a bit too crazy.

The park is spacious, quiet and clean. The cottage is lovely, fully equipped. There could be a little more cooking utensils and a shelf in the bathroom for some toiletries. Possibility for sun lounger would also be wonderful in the nice garden.

The park is clean, tidy, well maintained and well organized. There are many houses in the park and most of them quite close together. You have less privacy as a result, but because the planting in the garden is still fairly new, it will probably improve over time. Yet you do not have the feeling that it is very busy in the park, while this was the case. From the park you can walk directly into the nature reserve Planken Wambuis. There is also plenty to do in the area. The cottage itself was fine. We were 2 people in a 4-person house. It was well clean. For 4 adults it seems a bit on the tight side, with 2 children it is doable. We did not use the facilities, but there is a swimming pool, playground, (takeaway) restaurant and breakfast service/shop. You can rent bicycles etc. For the swimming pool you have to book via the Europarcs app due to corona. In addition to the regular channels, the television also has Netflix and Prime. The weather was not really good during our holiday and therefore we were not able to sit outside much unfortunately. That was a minus: the garden furniture at our house was really bad. This seemed to be better at other houses. We had a great stay.

Beautiful location. Beautiful, good clean chalet. Can go straight into the forest from the park, and enjoy the beautiful nature. Too bad that there is no roof at the chalet where you can put your cycling / walking shoes under, after a rainy bike / walking tour.

Unfortunately, we did not like it and left already 7 days earlier. The opening hours of the restaurant, including the opening hours of the indoor playground, are catastrophic. Only partially open and then overrun by locals who have reserved all tables there at lunchtime. We as a guest, did not get a table. The shop for snacks and snacks for self-catering was closed. It is the preseason, but the above shortcomings are unacceptable. Our days on the spot were a waste of time and we will certainly not go on holiday to this resort anymore. The house was fine and clean, but also the only thing that was good. By the way the staff in the restaurant, when it was open, not very friendly. Another complaint is that information was only available in Dutch. An alternative to German would be at least English. This should expect every guest.

arrival after office hours, we were kindly helped by telephone. welcome envelope with keys was ready. accommodation in order. very nice house, well equipped (including dishwasher, combi microwave oven, vacuum cleaner). there are occasional activities at the park, which we did not participate in. there is a lot to do in the area. We visited the Hoge Veluwe with Kroller-Müller, Burgers Zoo, Old-Fashion Zoo.

We came late in the evening and found our key in a special box. Everything went very smoothly and all worked out. We really liked our chalet, we had all that was needed in the house. One very small minor detail - the shower is not really strong, and water changes from hot to cold sometimes unpredictably, but still doable. Surrounding is very beautiful, everyone can find entertainment according to preferences. Great stay all in all!

Ridiculously indifferent treatment. We have indicated that we could not come because we had to be quarantined. Costs for cleaning, deposit, etc. will not be refunded. We will never book with Belvilla again. I am considering making a case of this through legal aid. To be continued. I assume that I will receive a standard message back that does not involve a person.

Beautiful location. Beautiful, good clean chalet. Can go straight into the forest from the park, and enjoy the beautiful nature. Too bad that there is no roof at the chalet where you can put your cycling / walking shoes under, after a rainy bike / walking tour.

arrival after office hours, we were kindly helped by telephone. welcome envelope with keys was ready. accommodation in order. very nice house, well equipped (including dishwasher, combi microwave oven, vacuum cleaner). there are occasional activities at the park, which we did not participate in. there is a lot to do in the area. We visited the Hoge Veluwe with Kroller-Müller, Burgers Zoo, Old-Fashion Zoo.

We had a lovely, quiet, neat and very nice house at Euro Parc de Wije Werelt, The park was very beautiful and had many nice facilities for children such as a small petting zoo and many playgrounds, which was very nice about our house, that no one was at looked inside us, The houses are so that you can't see each other, Next to the park is the Veluwe, You can walk straight up from the park, Very nice, Small side drawing, we thought we had a house with a 2 person bed, These turned out to be 2 single beds, That was a bit of a shame, because our daughter always sleeps between us, And that is very difficult with 2 single beds,

Had a wonderful week. Chalet is good only because it was so hot it is much too hot inside. We had the dog with us and could not cycle because we could not leave her in the chalet , so air conditioning is not a luxury . Everything else was fine

The park is clean, tidy, well maintained and well organized. There are many houses in the park and most of them quite close together. You have less privacy as a result, but because the planting in the garden is still fairly new, it will probably improve over time. Yet you do not have the feeling that it is very busy in the park, while this was the case. From the park you can walk directly into the nature reserve Planken Wambuis. There is also plenty to do in the area. The cottage itself was fine. We were 2 people in a 4-person house. It was well clean. For 4 adults it seems a bit on the tight side, with 2 children it is doable. We did not use the facilities, but there is a swimming pool, playground, (takeaway) restaurant and breakfast service/shop. You can rent bicycles etc. For the swimming pool you have to book via the Europarcs app due to corona. In addition to the regular channels, the television also has Netflix and Prime. The weather was not really good during our holiday and therefore we were not able to sit outside much unfortunately. That was a minus: the garden furniture at our house was really bad. This seemed to be better at other houses. We had a great stay.

Unfortunately, we did not like it and left already 7 days earlier. The opening hours of the restaurant, including the opening hours of the indoor playground, are catastrophic. Only partially open and then overrun by locals who have reserved all tables there at lunchtime. We as a guest, did not get a table. The shop for snacks and snacks for self-catering was closed. It is the preseason, but the above shortcomings are unacceptable. Our days on the spot were a waste of time and we will certainly not go on holiday to this resort anymore. The house was fine and clean, but also the only thing that was good. By the way the staff in the restaurant, when it was open, not very friendly. Another complaint is that information was only available in Dutch. An alternative to German would be at least English. This should expect every guest.

The park is spacious, quiet and clean. The cottage is lovely, fully equipped. There could be a little more cooking utensils and a shelf in the bathroom for some toiletries. Possibility for sun lounger would also be wonderful in the nice garden.
