This is a scenic 2-bedroom holiday home in Kattendijke. It's located near National Park Oosterschelde with its beautiful salt marshes and mudflats. It is perfect for families.
The surroundings are perfect for long cycling tours and the Eastern Scheldt dikes are good for nice long walks. Walk down to restaurant 'Het Loze Vissertje' and enjoy some fresh mussels. The lovely marina of Wemeldinge is closeby. Water sports lovers can go diving and surfing in the area. The Omnium aqua park has swimming pools and various wellness facilities. You'll find a supermarket 5 km away.
The home has a modern, open kitchen that is fully equipped. The mezzanine features a nice playing area for the kids. The pleasant terrace with comfortable garden furniture is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. The home has beach chairs and toys, including a badminton set. You're allowed to bring 1 pet for €15.
A train station is 5 km away. Zeeland Airport is 20 km away.

Kitchen: many plastic plates and glasses. Upstairs bedroom: open staircase without railing, no stair gate. Downstairs bedroom lamp defective, sagging mattresses and soft pillows. Room 1 spot defect. Small side table outside would be useful.

Unfortunately, there was at this season-related odor nuisance at low tide and by the farmers otherwise everything was as described lovely greetings from Germany

We are currently spending a wonderful week here, the house is very clean and very nicely decorated. We were particularly pleased with Heidi's welcome package. Everything was great, we can only recommend the house.

What a turn off this house is. The owners must have done their best. But broken blinds, tap, soap dish are held on the wall with tape, broken socket are not really pleasant! The cottage was also very dirty, a dirty toilet, mattresses under the hair, duvet full of dirty yellow stains so first had to clean yourself. We pay a cleaning fee of 50.00 euros for this? The caretaker deducts this from his hands and says he will pass this on (we know from last year that this person also performs the cleaning !! Very unfortunate because we have paid for a clean house. We will never come back here again and don't recommend it either!

House in itself reasonable, for 3 people to do well, but cleaning of the house really leaves much to be desired (and 110 euros will be charged for that!) Kitchen inventory messy and dirty. Canteen at the park is not open. Not worth repeating for us, a pity.
