We have had the house on the ground floor. Great house. Nice kitchen with a good oven, hob and inventory and the sauna and jacuzzi were also great. You also have to take into account that you do not have a window in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. There is also an extra refrigerator next to the built-in refrigerator because it no longer works. As you can see in the pictures, there is a stone floor on the floor, so it is useful to bring slippers or thick socks. The beds are 1.40. A big tip: if everything needs a lick of paint or a small makeover, this house invites even more to be booked often because the facilities and the surroundings are beautiful!

It is an outdated house. In terms of luxury, everything is in it; Jacuzzi, spacious sauna, 2 bathrooms, 1 with a massage shower. Washing machine and dryer are also available. However, it does not work properly or it is dirty. The jacuzzi had cloudy water on arrival and then the owner poured in a lot of chemicals. Still cloudy water after 2 days. We have therefore not entered into it. The owner came to clean the Jacuzzi on day 4 without consulting us. So he stood in our garden without reporting this. - The doors of the massage shower do not close properly and when opening they slide in. - The shower curtain in the other shower is really too dirty at the bottom. - All plates and especially the cutlery were dirty on arrival. - There is a vacuum cleaner, but it is also very dirty. - There are long hairs on the floor throughout the house. It is not cleaned properly. - Tables and chairs are sticking and there is a lot of house dust. - There are no windows in the bedrooms to prevent fresh air from coming in. - The bedding has a number of holes. - The garden looks much more spacious on the photos, but in reality there are 3 small terraces with considerable height differences (therefore not accessible to older people), broken garden furniture and outdated cushions - The BBQ was wet and was not usable. Everything is outdated, not of this time and dirty.But the environment makes up for it.Beautiful holiday, but we will not book this house anymore.

From experience with holiday homes I write this review, I'm really not someone who is whining about everything but what is seen may be described. Nice holiday time, Valkenburg center is a great bike ride away from the cottage. Arrival time was poorly communicated between the cleaners and the owner this is finally solved by waiting with a cup of coffee in the restaurant of the owner who was on holiday. We had also taken puppies with them this had already been paid in advance the cleaner (Schoonvader) claimed that we still have to pay money for that, I told the best man that this happened beforehand. Because of that we also had a bad contact for when something would be, everything was communicated via WhatsApp with the owner. Cleanliness of the house is not quite what you can expect (hair in sink, shower cabin which I know is difficult to get clean, did not look completely fresh.) A dirty sweeper in a corner of the living room is also a replacement or simply place a vacuum cleaner that can be used if something falls on the floor.Dirty cloth that is outside on the edge of the wall.Many dust in the large wall cupboard.Photos do not quite match what you get and I find that very sorry !!!! Beautiful house, fully equipped. The jacuzzi was a great success. Beautiful surroundings, great base for trips. We left the dog home at the last moment, but afterwards he had been able to go along well. You walk from the house along the railway to the Daolkesberg. From there a beautiful view! South Limburg has much to offer. Hills, castles, ruins, a cableway in the middle of the city. In Gulpen the water park is very nice. Maastricht is also very beautiful and there are many sights in Valkenburg.

Very nice large ground floor house with all amenities. In addition, a 6 person jacuzzi was installed which can be rented at a reasonable rate. Outside the house is a large terrace with lots of garden furniture. The children are allowed to use the indoor ball pit every day and there is also an hour of free use of the bowling alley per day. The area is great for trips by car, bicycle or scooters. Valkenburg is only a 10-minute drive by car. We had a great week and the manager was friendly and very helpful. Top all.

We had a great holiday. We were kindly received on arrival and the accommodation was top notch. A thick + point was the wonderful Jacuzzi. The children also loved it and the use of the indoor play paradise was great. There is plenty to do in the area and you are close to Valkenburg. In the neighborhood a large swimming paradise. What a lovely home. We enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi after a day of golf. The property is complete and modern. The service is outstanding (the jacuzzi would not start, the host came immediately to fix the problem). Both master bedrooms has a TV and the kitchen has an oven, microwave and dishwasher. There are plenty of towels available. The only downside we found (4 adults) that there is no toilet is outside the bathroom.

The reception was perfectly fine, there was even a bottle of wine. There was a technical problem with the jacuzzi but the host has rescued immediately. The cottage is equipped with all everyday materials and offers a lot of comfort.

we as a group of young people rented this cottage from 17th to 21st August. After some problems with the landlord Belvilla this amply surpassed. The service earned more than 10. Housekeeping was a little better but it was certainly hygienically clean. (White furniture do you see something at once quickly). Environment I find myself lost out of years ago it was busy and fun in valkenburg. Now many stores were closed (in the afternoon, just as shops normally open). Many old hotels are closed, and the atmosphere was really not what it was. It was quiet, despite the weather. (Time of year?) The caves visits was it just fun, and nice and quiet so it is that handy again. Furthermore, we have been a day after the zoo, half hour drive and highly recommended. Food can be very good in the restaurant at the cottage, delicious and cheap food. Much, but rather too much than too little) like short good, if you enjoy walking / biking keep this is a very nice place to do that. If you want to relax then you're also here because of the jacuzzi and sauna that comes with the house. The owner is easy to achieve, but leave you alone so you just have your privacy.

8 friends we spent a weekend in the Trench Cottage and it was in a word superb! We were warmly welcomed by Marcel, the owner. The kitchen was fully equipped and the living room was very cozy. The bedrooms are fine, there are two bunk beds and two double beds. Furthermore, the bathroom is very spacious and equipped with a sauna. Only downside is that the bathroom includes a sauna, shower and toilet and there is no extra toilet. The garden is superb with the jacuzzi. There is also a lounge terrace, but unfortunately it was too cold there in March, but the finer was the jacuzzi. Also, the owner of the reception was great! That weekend they gave a party to the case because of its tenth anniversary, and he invited us and we had a very pleasant evening. The next day a friend had problems with an empty car battery and he came to help right away. Also Valkenburg city center is a nice walk and it's a lovely area for walking. We had a lovely weekend here!

Stayed with a group of eight ladies for 3 days and we all reluctantly went home. It is recommended to stay for a week. Our weekend was too short!!!
We really enjoyed the jacuzzi and sauna, but also the terrace and of course the smart TV with Netflix.
What was also very nice is that we were allowed to go bowling for 1.5 hours for free while enjoying a drink (of course we paid for consumption).
In addition to the sauna and jacuzzi, the house was equipped with everything.
Such as, candles for the atmosphere, toilet paper, bath towels, and a dishwasher.
In short... we will definitely come back here in the new year!!!

A beautiful house with many accessories. Sauna, hot tub, refrigerator with large freezer, luxurious beds and sofas. Reception is very friendly. The owner was always ready to help. It was a great location for us. We had two dogs and a puppy. The house is well equipped for dogs.
It was assumed that there was a lawn behind the house. That turned out to be the upstairs house. We had a terrace with several layers that were accessible by several elevations.
