Build in the middle of 2016, these villas are situated on large parcels of land, spread over the large Maastricht Resort.
There are four different models to choose from; a detached 6 person comfort villa with three bedrooms and one bathroom (NL-6216-02). There is also a luxury model (NL-6216-03). This type of villa is larger and has a luxurious bathroom with bubble bath and sauna. Than there is the 8 person luxury villa (NL-6216-04). This type (semi detached) has four bedrooms, spread over the 1st and 2nd floors and has two bathrooms, one of them with bubble bath and sauna. There is an American fridge in the kitchen. And finally there is the large, detached, stately luxurious 12 person villa (NL-6216-05). This type has six bedrooms, spread over the 1st and 2nd floors and has three bathrooms, one of them with bubble bath. This type also has an American fridge in the kitchen.
All villas are modern and are tastefully decorated. They have a large living room, a modern open kitchen equipped with all modern furnishings (combination microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine). All the bedrooms have box spring beds. They can therefore be used as a double or 2 single bed set up. Finally there is a garden with terrace and outdoor furniture.

Location and surroundings of object
In this spacious resort at just 3 km from the vibrant centre of Maastricht you'll find a harmonious combination between the past and the present. The traditional architecture and unmistakable exterior style elements of the stately villas are a wink to the past. Once inside you'll be treated to all possible modern comfort and luxury.
Resort Maastricht is a small village in itself, situated alongside the golf course and just a stone's throw away from the river Meuse. The resort consists of two sections: one section where the villas are located and the lively 'Wilhelmusplein' where the various types of apartments and part of the central facilities are found. On the square, you will find a restaurant named 'Proeflokaal Eten', adjacent to 'Proeflokaal Drinken'. Both 'Proeflokalen' (tasting rooms) feature a large terrace with seats and parasols where you can enjoy a bite to eat and a drink. A menu for the little ones is also available. There is a mobile snack bar on the square for snack lovers. And a holiday is not complete without ice cream, of course. Italian scoop ice cream in all flavours is available from the ice cream truck.
In addition, there is a covered swimming pool, mini market, various playing fields with play equipment, entertainment for children (only in summer) as well as a fitness studio. You can also book a massage against payment on the premises.
There's more than enough to do in the surroundings. The centre of Maastricht has the Vrijthof with different restaurants and cosy outdoor cafes, shops and of course museums. There's for example the Bonnefanten museum (ancient and modern art), Museum cellar Derlon (remains of Roman excavations) and the Natural History Museum Maastricht. There is also enough to do for nature lovers. The area around Maastricht can be easily be explored by bike and there are a number of hiking routes. The marlstone caves of the Sint-Pietersberg are worth a visit. There are a number of festivals and activities during the year. From dance parties to André Rieu concerts on the Vrijthof and from TEFAF (the most important art and antiques fair in the world) to the Amstel Gold Race, Maastricht has it all.
Because of its favourable location close to Germany and Belgium, a visit to the cities of Aachen and Liege is also a possibility. Closer to home, cities like Valkenburg, Heerlen, Geleen of Sittard can be reached easily.
Maastricht Resort is an ambitious modern resort at just 3 km from the Vrijthof in the middle of the cosy centre of Maastricht. It's situated right next to the golf course and an indoor pool is a 5-minute walk away. The stately villas guarantee a top-notch stay.
Resort Maastricht is currently being expanded with 33 luxury apartments. These apartments will be built on the north-east side of the resort and will be ready by mid-2022. In addition to this expansion, a very extensive, luxurious wellness area is also being built. Construction may cause some disruption to the resort, especially for some of the apartments and holiday homes located near the construction area. Of course, we are doing everything we can to limit the inconvenience as much as possible.

Very nice house on a domain under construction ... A house where you really feel immediately at home! Luxurious, top-finish and everything that one needs to make it a nice stay. Small comments the mattresses are (to our opinion) too soft, the dishwasher (or the supplied tablets) did not give the desired clean result and too few bins on the domain itself - walking with the dogs there was nowhere an opportunity to deposit the neatly collected dog poop ... only on the entrance to the domain! We have 100% enjoyed our stay!

On arrival we were assigned house number 27, 2 passes for the house. We there only 1 pass worked on the house, so weird ?! And we saw that there was a lampshade missing on a standing lamp, not a disaster but we thought we make a report on the day of arrival otherwise we have done it later .. Back to the reception stood at house nr 27 a totally different family registered. We should actually have no 72, but no problem we were allowed to stay and the reception would solve that. Only forgot to mention the pass that did not work. 2 days later 1645 (reception closes 1700) we do not enter the house anymore. Directly to the reception it appears that it is not adapted that we were still registered on the previous family and that left one day earlier, hence the pass did not work. Now we also understood immediately why the other one did not work because it was number 72. So if we wanted to do that, we would have been able to visit the other family in house 72 if they were not at home .... A bit of a shame about it all. The cottage was really nice and top!

Beautiful houses, good beds and lots of closet space, spacious bathroom, cozy wood stove and comfortable seating area. Kitchen offers plenty of crockery and glassware. Dishwasher worked badly, no improvement after repair. Teflon-coated frying pan badly damaged, waste bin (lid) worthless. Fresh bread rolls every morning from the bakery, bicycle rental offers excellent bicycles. House quite pricey.
