In this spacious resort at just 3 km from the vibrant centre of Maastricht you'll find a harmonious combination between the past and the present. The traditional architecture and unmistakable exterior style elements of the stately villas are a wink to the past. Once inside you'll be treated to all possible modern comfort and luxury.

Resort Maastricht is a small village in itself, situated alongside the golf course and just a stone's throw away from the river Meuse. The resort consists of two sections: one section where the villas are located and the lively 'Wilhelmusplein' where the various types of apartments and part of the central facilities are found. On the square, you will find a restaurant named 'Proeflokaal Eten', adjacent to 'Proeflokaal Drinken'. Both 'Proeflokalen' (tasting rooms) feature a large terrace with seats and parasols where you can enjoy a bite to eat and a drink. A menu for the little ones is also available. There is a mobile snack bar on the square for snack lovers. And a holiday is not complete without ice cream, of course. Italian scoop ice cream in all flavours is available from the ice cream truck.

In addition, there is a covered swimming pool, mini market, various playing fields with play equipment, entertainment for children (only in summer) as well as a fitness studio. You can also book a massage against payment on the premises.

There's more than enough to do in the surroundings. The centre of Maastricht has the Vrijthof with different restaurants and cosy outdoor cafes, shops and of course museums. There's for example the Bonnefanten museum (ancient and modern art), Museum cellar Derlon (remains of Roman excavations) and the Natural History Museum Maastricht. There is also enough to do for nature lovers. The area around Maastricht can be easily be explored by bike and there are a number of hiking routes. The marlstone caves of the Sint-Pietersberg are worth a visit. There are a number of festivals and activities during the year. From dance parties to André Rieu concerts on the Vrijthof and from TEFAF (the most important art and antiques fair in the world) to the Amstel Gold Race, Maastricht has it all.

Because of its favourable location close to Germany and Belgium, a visit to the cities of Aachen and Liege is also a possibility. Closer to home, cities like Valkenburg, Heerlen, Geleen of Sittard can be reached easily.

Maastricht Resort is an ambitious modern resort at just 3 km from the Vrijthof in the middle of the cosy centre of Maastricht. It's situated right next to the golf course and an indoor pool is a 5-minute walk away. The stately villas guarantee a top-notch stay.

Resort Maastricht is currently being expanded with 33 luxury apartments. These apartments will be built on the north-east side of the resort and will be ready by mid-2022. In addition to this expansion, a very extensive, luxurious wellness area is also being built. Construction may cause some disruption to the resort, especially for some of the apartments and holiday homes located near the construction area. Of course, we are doing everything we can to limit the inconvenience as much as possible.

Very nice front desk, spacious, modern (new) house with everything you need - even with sauna and bathtub with jacuzzi function. The only, but however great wormwood drops were the beds On the one hand, the mattresses were too soft (and probably quite cheap ), at least five of the six people present complained about tensions or back pain the next morning. On the other hand, there are two single beds in each of the rooms on laminate / parquet flooring. The result is that romantic nights can hardly be imagined, since both beds slip away and / or move apart during the smallest movement. VERY uncool. Double beds would not have been a false investment! I recommend taking some sufficiently long cable bindings, in order to connect the feet quasi together. Otherwise, it was perfect.

Service is fine. Cottage was nice. Cozy sitting area, excellent rooms and beds. Bathroom good. Hot tub with light and sauna were great! However, poor water pressure, so showering was not ideal. We had asked for stair gates because of our small children. Now there was only a stair gate at the top of the stairs. The bottom is also desirable! The kitchen was fine, but there were very few pans and utensils. And the knives were dull. It was also a pity that the kitchen and living room were two separate rooms, which made the house feel somewhat cramped. That seemed to be different in the photos when booking.

The train would go on strike as possible, and I travel by train from Schiedam to Maastricht. Fortunately, I can prolong stay 1 night. There is pleasant and with attention to ingegaan.De property is brand new. Especially the bathroom with the hot tub, and sauna taste in tasty fresh looking and ruim.Jammer to tear down the operation - krakende- stairs so opvalt.Is the novelty or a matter of building / yield very fast There are many amenities in the property, and they make it a comfortable geheel.Minpunt a number of devices and drains is certainly not silent .... as ventilation and dishwasher. Also produce the toilets (unnecessary) noise when flushing .Buiten is still on the premises. Unfortunately, driving several guests with clearly faster than walking pace through the straten.De area of the buildings is strangely bare. That's part of newly constructed and in winter, but the vegetation of the garden (the hedge!) Deserves attention and what mest..Vreemd is NOWHERE in sight a bird ..?! What I also missed a rack or cabinet inventory External food in storage.
