The Buitenhof de Leistert is a lovely luxurious holiday, or better said, farm villa park, it is an expansion of the existing recreation park de Leistert with its many facilities. Buitenhof de Leistert is located in the varied landscape of Middle Limburg, and is surrounded by a beautiful natural area. Shady lanes, farms, fruit orchards and meandering brooks make this experience of times past complete. The villas in the Limburg farmhouse style are characterized by lovely architecture. The park is spacious. You'll enjoy complete peace and space and have all of the necessary facilities on hand to make your holiday complete. On the park there are covered and open air swimming pools, various playgrounds, a rowing lake, cycle hire and much more. The area is perfect for cycling and/or walking excursions. Roermond, with its atmospheric downtown, Maastricht, the White Town of Thorn, the thermal baths at Arcen and Toverland are certainly worth a visit. Water sports lovers can paddle to their hearts' content in the Maas lakes. Buitenhof de Leistert, what more could you want?

Buitenhof de Leistert is a holiday park with luxurious farm villas on spacious parcels. It has various facilities for all ages, including a covered swimming pool, open air swimming pool, various playgrounds, a restaurant and a rowing lake.

In addition to the comfort farm villas NL-6088-02 (5-pers.), NL-6088-06 (7-pers.) and NL-6088-10 (9-pers.), there are also luxury farm villas. These have, in addition to the furnishings of the comfort types, a sauna, a whirlpool, a washing machine/dryer combination and a flat screen in one or more bedrooms. The luxury types are NL-6088-04 (5-pers.), NL-6088-08 (7-pers.), NL-6088-12 (9-pers.), NL-6088-14 (11-pers.) and NL-6088-16 (13-pers.).

There is also a child friendly variant available for all available types. A crib, playpen and high chair are standard in these villas. You will also find a wagon, stair gate on top of the stairs, protected wall outlets, washing machine/dryer combination, and the garden is enclosed. The child friendly types are NL-6088-03 (5-pers. comfort), NL-6088-05 (5-pers. lux.), NL-6088-07 (7-pers. comfort), NL-6088-09 (7-pers. lux.), NL-6088-11 (9-pers. comfort), NL-6088-13 (9-pers. lux.), NL-6088-15 (11-pers. lux.) and NL-6088-17 (13-pers. lux.).

Our stay at the Modern Villa in Limburg was fantastic! The villa was very spacious and had everything we needed for our family weekend, The kids loved the playground right outside our garden, and we appreciated the privacy of the enclosed space, Highly recommend for families!

Spacious and comfortable! Perfect for a weekend with the family. The kids loved the playground, and the garden is a perfect atmosphere for morning coffee. The WiFi was also strong, so no worries about missing updates on 'Gram.

The villa was modern and clean, a good place for a quiet escape. We appreciated the functional layout, and the kitchen had all the necessary things. Although the location is a bit far from the main attractions, it was nice to be surrounded by nature. The outdoor space was a hit, perfect for morning coffee. Overall, a practical and comfortable place to stay.

It was a nice stay in an attractive villa, equipped with every comfort, Too bad that all facilities at the recreation park were closed due to the Corona measures, Fortunately we had a lovely sauna in the villa! What we have missed is the instructions for use for the various appliances. Older people, such as my parents, would not have received any of the appliances without the help of a manual. I myself had to call in the help of the reception for the decorative fireplace (is certainly not automatically), The kitchen inventory is no longer completely complete for 6 people, The cleaning could have been better,

As a family with two young children (3 and 4) we loved to sit in a spacious house with all the luxury available. They also liked the sauna and the hot tub (or rather bath with jet stream) (sauna at a low temperature of course). The only downside were the pans. These were very old and used / abused. For example, there was a pan that was crooked and could not stand properly on the gas stove. Also very nice that there are many playgrounds for the children and there are woods to walk from the park itself. Even now with COVID-19, and the lockdown (everything was closed, except outside playgrounds of course) we really enjoyed it. A short break from home and plenty of time for each other.

We have booked a long weekend in this accommodation, Everything was as expected, so we were very satisfied with it, Nice bathroom with sauna & jetstream bath, The environment was also very pleasant and ideal for walking and being in nature, We had however, a number of feedback points - in general the house was cleaned very well, you could notice that in some places such as the wall edge near the toilet there was a thick layer of dust, that could be cleaned better, - some pans were scratched and worn, These need to be replaced, - In the night we heard a lot of creaking and banging in the ceiling, We couldn't place exactly what it was, Could have been the crackling of the expansion of the floor due to the underfloor heating but completely sure we do not know, In short, on a few critical points we had a pleasant stay that is certainly worth repeating!
