The detached, themed farm villas are spread out over the spacious park. They are all very comfortably furnished and have modern conveniences such as under floor heating and wireless internet. They are on large parcels in various sizes from 5 to 13 people. For the larger variants (from 7 persons) one or more of the bedrooms and a bathroom is on the ground floor. Ideal for going on holiday with grandma and grandpa! In the farm villas there is a lovely manicured garden and a (covered) terrace with garden furniture. There are child friendly types (including cot, playpen and high chair, washing machine and dryer) and luxury types (with sauna, bubble bath and some with steam shower). The Buitenhof de Leistert is a lovely luxurious holiday, or better said, farm villa park, it is an expansion of the existing recreation park de Leistert with its many facilities. Buitenhof de Leistert is located in the varied landscape of Middle Limburg, and is surrounded by a beautiful natural area. Shady lanes, farms, fruit orchards and meandering brooks make this experience of times past complete. The villas in the Limburg farmhouse style are characterized by lovely architecture. The park is spacious. You'll enjoy complete peace and space and have all of the necessary facilities on hand to make your holiday complete. On the park there are covered and open air swimming pools, various playgrounds, a rowing lake, cycle hire and much more. The area is perfect for cycling and/or walking excursions. Roermond, with its atmospheric downtown, Maastricht, the White Town of Thorn, the thermal baths at Arcen and Toverland are certainly worth a visit. Water sports lovers can paddle to their hearts' content in the Maas lakes. Buitenhof de Leistert, what more could you want?
Buitenhof de Leistert is a holiday park with luxurious farm villas on spacious parcels. It has various facilities for all ages, including a covered swimming pool, open air swimming pool, various playgrounds, a restaurant and a rowing lake.
In addition to the comfort farm villas NL-6088-02 (5-pers.), NL-6088-06 (7-pers.) and NL-6088-10 (9-pers.), there are also luxury farm villas. These have, in addition to the furnishings of the comfort types, a sauna, a whirlpool, a washing machine/dryer combination and a flat screen in one or more bedrooms. The luxury types are NL-6088-04 (5-pers.), NL-6088-08 (7-pers.), NL-6088-12 (9-pers.), NL-6088-14 (11-pers.) and NL-6088-16 (13-pers.).
There is also a child friendly variant available for all available types. A crib, playpen and high chair are standard in these villas. You will also find a wagon, stair gate on top of the stairs, protected wall outlets, washing machine/dryer combination, and the garden is enclosed. The child friendly types are NL-6088-03 (5-pers. comfort), NL-6088-05 (5-pers. lux.), NL-6088-07 (7-pers. comfort), NL-6088-09 (7-pers. lux.), NL-6088-11 (9-pers. comfort), NL-6088-13 (9-pers. lux.), NL-6088-15 (11-pers. lux.) and NL-6088-17 (13-pers. lux.).
There are farm villas where pets are allowed. Pets are only accepted on request. To arrange this, contact the customer service centre by phone. If the pet is not previously approved, access to the park may be refused.

Cottage was perfect ... wifi..was slecht.je got for 1 person wifi..de rest had had betalen.we above for 7 pers. Holiday midweek booked at the Leistert in Roggel in Limburg. On arrival, everything was perfectly arranged, we only had to wait until 15:30 before we could go through the barrier on our way to our bungalow. On the way to the bungalow we noticed that the park was well maintained, beautifully green and spacious. We had rented bungalow number 187 due to the location on the edge of the forest and because it is a kids special due to our twins of 3 years. The bungalow looked good from the outside and we were delighted to go inside. After looking around for a while, we noticed a lot of things. Dust nests in the corners with large harvestmen in them, dirty stripes on the walls and doors. A thick layer of dust on the hood child protection that was missing on the sockets. Refrigerator full of ice on the back wall, defective ventilation grilles. A breakdown set with the fungus in it. And frying pans where the non-stick coating has disappeared. And unfortunately many more points. It is clear that this bungalow needs a makeover. We also wondered why there is no air if pets are allowed. The smell wasn't exactly fresh. After a long car journey of almost 2.5 hours just exploring the park. The staff are friendly and nice. The swimming pool is a big 10. Animation for up to 4 years is limited. In short, had a good holiday but never again bungalow number 187, no final check or between checks on the houses from the park. Also pay attention with small children they only have 1 person box springs or 1 small camping bed that is not looking too good. So no toddler beds available with a kids special in this bungalow style. Stair gates don't work too well anymore, our little one had it open like that.

Arrival fine had already booked a house number so received all keys etc sent in advance. This allowed us to arrive at any time. The part with the holiday homes in the park is difficult to find (the entrance) because it was very badly marked.

Holiday midweek booked at the Leistert in Roggel in Limburg. On arrival, everything was perfectly arranged, we only had to wait until 15:30 before we could go through the barrier on our way to our bungalow. On the way to the bungalow we noticed that the park was well maintained, beautifully green and spacious. We had rented bungalow number 187 due to the location on the edge of the forest and because it is a kids special due to our twins of 3 years. The bungalow looked good from the outside and we were delighted to go inside. After looking around for a while, we noticed a lot of things. Dust nests in the corners with large harvestmen in them, dirty stripes on the walls and doors. A thick layer of dust on the hood child protection that was missing on the sockets. Refrigerator full of ice on the back wall, defective ventilation grilles. A breakdown set with the fungus in it. And frying pans where the non-stick coating has disappeared. And unfortunately many more points. It is clear that this bungalow needs a makeover. We also wondered why there is no air if pets are allowed. The smell wasn't exactly fresh. After a long car journey of almost 2.5 hours just exploring the park. The staff are friendly and nice. The swimming pool is a big 10. Animation for up to 4 years is limited. In short, had a good holiday but never again bungalow number 187, no final check or between checks on the houses from the park. Also pay attention with small children they only have 1 person box springs or 1 small camping bed that is not looking too good. So no toddler beds available with a kids special in this bungalow style. Stair gates don't work too well anymore, our little one had it open like that.

Cottage was perfect ... wifi..was slecht.je got for 1 person wifi..de rest had had betalen.we above for 7 pers. Geboekt..kregen linen 6 pers..ook but 6 pool cards etc. Gardens had more privacy gemogen..tuinen borders directly on each single mesh afgebakert..afstand 500 meters to camping area also true niet..was much further.

Upon arrival of our stay in our luxury villa we see that the cleaning has been very bad. Toothpaste still on the mirror, hair from the previous residents in the shower drain, sink still brown from the grease. Bit of a shame if you paid almost 1800 euros for this.
