You can book two kinds of detached, ground-floor lodges in holiday park Schaijk, opened in 2018.
There's a 4-person lodge (NL-5374-14) with two bedrooms, each with two single box-spring beds. One of the bedrooms is equipped with a TV. The living room is fitted with underfloor heating and smart TV and features an open plan kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. There's a bathroom with shower and separate toilet.
There also is a 6-person lodge (NL-5374-15) with three bedrooms, two of which with a double box-spring bed each and one with a bunk bed. One of the bedrooms is equipped with a TV. The living room is fitted with underfloor heating and smart TV and features an open plan kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. There are two bathrooms with shower and a separate toilet.
The beds are single box-spring beds, some in a double set-up. Each lodge features a garden with terrace and garden furniture. There's parking space for one car at the lodge.

Schaijk Holiday Park will be just 2 km from the centre of the city whose name it shares and will open its doors in the spring of 2019.
The advantage of a new holiday park is that you'll have access to facilities that are not yet common in the Netherlands. There is a water park with various water activities for young and old and there is an indoor play forest. Here the kids will be able to enjoy themselves even in bad weather and can climb and clamber to their hearts' content. Of course there's also a "normal" playground, there's also a restaurant with take-away service and a bowling alley. So your visit to the park should be anything but boring.
The special lodges are located on the waterfront, in the middle of the forest or hidden in the rolling countryside.
There's also plenty to enjoy in the area. There's the Maashorst Nature Reserve with some truly wild nature. Here you will find fractures in the earth, drift dunes and real wild grazers such as the European Bison and Exmoor pony. There are also a variety of cute villages that you can visit. We'll just mention Schaijk (2 km), Grave (10 km) and Ravenstein (10 km). You can also reach a number of larger cities from Schaijk Holiday Park. Cities like 's-Hertogenbosch (28 km.), Nijmegen (26 km.), Oss (12 km.), Arnhem (44 km.). Eindhoven (45 km.) en Tilburg (47 km.) all have their own personality, but they always have restaurants, terraces and a variety of cultural possibilities. There are also theme parks and amusement parks that are close enough for a day trip. The Beekse Bergen in Hilvarenbeek (50 km), De Efteling in Kaatsheuvel (51 km), Climb & Adventure Forest Rock 'n Rivers in Goirle (55 km) and Zoo Parc Overloon in Overloon (36 km) are just a few examples.
Holiday park Schaijk is a great destination with something for everyone.
Fireworks are not permitted at Vakantiepark Schaijk. This is a fireworks free park.
The reception of the holiday park is located in the family restaurant Charlie.
When you enter the site, you will see the central building with the Charlie logo on it.
From mid-October, a new part of the park will be built, on the northwest side and the southeast side to be precise. It is possible that the construction work will cause some inconvenience during the day, but we do everything we can to keep this to a minimum.

At the reception they were friendly and worked quickly. We could quickly go to the house. The house looked fine. Not big but everything was there, clean and whole. Improvement points are cupboard space, night light, large store instead of something at reception. Especially extension sandwich service and that you can buy packed ice cream or something. Fine restaurant only at the price. In contrast, the fries you could pick up were tasty and good value.

Friendly reception. House looks modern. Water in the shower runs towards the door due to a lack of a threshold or the like. and remains moist because there is no window. The cottage (lodge 6) is very noisy and because fans continue to run after use of the toilet or bathroom, that is annoying. At the park there was a party on Friday and Saturday where loud music was played until noon. (Not nice when it is decided until what time you can stay awake by the sound.) For children from 6 years there is not enough entertainment in the park. The mini shop turned out to be some cleaning and baby items at the reception. Menu is very limited and the chips turned out to be with skin. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The nearest forest is still a 15-minute walk away. Outside the park you walk if you want to walk the dog on a fairly quiet country road.

The service from Roompot is always good and they always try to help you with your questions. The accommodation is great for families or two couples. There are two double beds and one bunk bed, which is exceptionally narrow and therefore only suitable for children. It is too small a chalet for six people if there are at least two children among the guests. But even then the common space is annoyingly small. The chalet is also very noisy and lacks storage space. With some sliding and fitting and measuring you can store your belongings reasonably within the existing furniture. The park and the houses are built and furnished for a summer holiday and therefore they are not suitable to be rented out as six person chalets during the winter period. The photos of the park and the accommodation are professional work but give a broader picture of reality, so that the park is disappointing in size and ultimately also in experience: it is a small park with enough facilities for its surface. But don't be fooled due to the surface area and therefore not due to the size of the facilities present.Please note: almost facilities such as the splash park and the drone trail (?) are summer activities. Our biggest disappointment was the picture everywhere sketched by Roompot on its By using photos that make the park appear larger than it really is and by using texts that confirm that impression of size, the first introduction to the park is simply disappointing. "These special holiday homes are on the waterfront, in the middle of the forest or hidden in the rolling landscape" - this gives a suggestion of size which is absolutely not applicable. There is no rolling landscape at the park, which are artificially constructed hills to improve the privacy of the guests. The waterfront is a description for location on a pond of limited size. Reception staff are present and available, the accommodation is clean and functional, just one bedside lamp and night stand is missing from each bed, and the light bulbs used for lighting the lodge are too weak. Brabant hospitality cannot be seen on arrival at the house. No toilet paper, it would be nice if you could have a cup of coffee or tea after a long journey. But you have to go shopping first, even if there were only a few tea bags or coffee culture ready. For the disabled there is far too little storage space, everything much too low When showering you have to be careful that your bedroom does not get too wet. The only downside was that in our 6-person house there was very little to no storage space, both in kitchen, living room, bedrooms and both showers. That was especially difficult, but did no further detract from our fun long Easter weekend!

Great house, clean park. The beds were quite okay, but the pillows could use replacing.
Maybe a tip; There is no light at the sink and you stand with your back to the window, so a light at the bottom of the cabinets is more than welcome.

Reception staff are present and available, the accommodation is clean and functional, just one bedside lamp and night stand is missing from each bed, and the light bulbs used for lighting the lodge are too weak. The only downside was that in our 6-person house there was very little to no storage space, both in kitchen, living room, bedrooms and both showers. That was especially difficult, but did no further detract from our fun long Easter weekend!

They are new houses but are poorly furnished. You don't have to take any stuff with you because there is absolutely no storage space for the kitchen, the bedrooms and the living room. The bedrooms are small and so it is also difficult to put away your suitcase or bags with clothing. There are no cupboards. In the Kitchen there is no storage space for your food except in the fridge and a small drawer under the oven. The restaurant is uncomfortable and closes at 20.30 only has pizzas and 1 hamburger on the menu.

The service from Roompot is always good and they always try to help you with your questions. The accommodation is great for families or two couples. There are two double beds and one bunk bed, which is exceptionally narrow and therefore only suitable for children. It is too small a chalet for six people if there are at least two children among the guests. But even then the common space is annoyingly small. The chalet is also very noisy and lacks storage space. With some sliding and fitting and measuring you can store your belongings reasonably within the existing furniture. The park and the houses are built and furnished for a summer holiday and therefore they are not suitable to be rented out as six person chalets during the winter period. The photos of the park and the accommodation are professional work but give a broader picture of reality, so that the park is disappointing in size and ultimately also in experience: it is a small park with enough facilities for its surface. But don't be fooled due to the surface area and therefore not due to the size of the facilities present.Please note: almost facilities such as the splash park and the drone trail (?) are summer activities. Our biggest disappointment was the picture everywhere sketched by Roompot on its By using photos that make the park appear larger than it really is and by using texts that confirm that impression of size, the first introduction to the park is simply disappointing. "These special holiday homes are on the waterfront, in the middle of the forest or hidden in the rolling landscape" - this gives a suggestion of size which is absolutely not applicable. There is no rolling landscape at the park, which are artificially constructed hills to improve the privacy of the guests. The waterfront is a description for location on a pond of limited size. Friendly reception. House looks modern. Water in the shower runs towards the door due to a lack of a threshold or the like. and remains moist because there is no window. The cottage (lodge 6) is very noisy and because fans continue to run after use of the toilet or bathroom, that is annoying. At the park there was a party on Friday and Saturday where loud music was played until noon. (Not nice when it is decided until what time you can stay awake by the sound.) For children from 6 years there is not enough entertainment in the park. The mini shop turned out to be some cleaning and baby items at the reception. Menu is very limited and the chips turned out to be with skin. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The nearest forest is still a 15-minute walk away. Outside the park you walk if you want to walk the dog on a fairly quiet country road.

At the reception they were friendly and worked quickly. We could quickly go to the house. The house looked fine. Not big but everything was there, clean and whole. Improvement points are cupboard space, night light, large store instead of something at reception. Especially extension sandwich service and that you can buy packed ice cream or something. Fine restaurant only at the price. In contrast, the fries you could pick up were tasty and good value.

Brabant hospitality cannot be seen on arrival at the house. No toilet paper, it would be nice if you could have a cup of coffee or tea after a long journey. But you have to go shopping first, even if there were only a few tea bags or coffee culture ready. For the disabled there is far too little storage space, everything much too low When showering you have to be careful that your bedroom does not get too wet.
