The great 19th-century writer Jules Verne immediately gained name recognition with his first book "Five weeks in a Balloon". This speaking adventure was the inspiration for this very special holiday home in Haaren. This place can host 8 people in 2 bedrooms here.
Special prices for a balloon flight are provided for the guests here although flight and passage depends on weather conditions. A day at the Efteling is unforgettable for the children and you can enjoy a walk in the nearby forest.
The living room, has a 19th-century appearance. Enjoy a warm wood fire, the multimedia TV, the sofa bed that converts into a comfortable bed for 2 people. The books of this writer can be read here. You will also find, on the completely barrier-free ground floor, a modern kitchen and a bathroom that is also suitable for disabled guests. Both the bedrooms will give you an impression of waking up in a meadow amid nature.

We stayed at the property in 2016 and absolutely loved it. It looked like the pictures, everything was clean and nothing was missing. The fenced yard for the kids was great.

The surroundings were wonderfully quiet. But you are in nice places like Den Bosch, Tilburg and Breda! The accommodation was very good. Neat, comfortable and cozy furnishings. Managers, the whole family, were very friendly.

Lovely holiday home, welcoming reception. It is on a site of a family farm, but despite that it is very quiet. The cottage is luxurious, everything is there. In the area there is something to do for all age groups. We have not looked forward yet and will definitely be back.

We have had a nice holiday. We were four adults, a baby and dog. Jules Verne is a beautiful cottage, all in theme of the balloon. Very nicely decorated. A functional kitchen, even though we missed some basic things. Shame that any visitor would have to buy over and over again (detergent, salt \/ pepper, dishwasher tablets). There was a dish cloth and sponge present but that were not so fresh, so we still have just bought a new dishcloth. Furthermore, everything is fine clean sheets, towels, combination microwave \/ oven. It had an enclosed garden important with a large dog. Only there was one spot open. We solved the bench before putting but perhaps pay attention to in order to make it close. In the neighborhood we are afoot to visit the castle Nemelaer. You can not enter there but it is beautiful and you can walk around the castle. Nearby is a pancake with up to 240 different kinds of pancakes (savory, fruity and sweet). Recommended. 's-Hertogenbosch and Tilburg are nearby so you can perfect to visit the city. We are to "have been s-Hertogenbosch. Arrived is the big surprise, that the magnificent complex is a farmers yard, between the farm and camping. The reception is very friendly and the people are really just making you feel at home. Children help the farmer calves perform and have the space to bring their creativity. Unfold everywhere Go karts and bikes all over the yard and you see that everyone has the sense really. Our stay at guesthouse & quotJules Verne "is beautiful and very luxurious. The property is fully equipped and has the theme ballooning very well implemented in detail. it was a perfect place to enjoy, cycling and visiting cities in Brabant.

A very nice and cozy house. You feel right at home. Beds also good and very nice that each bedroom has its own toilet and shower. There is also a campsite so the children could play outside with other children. Lots of animals, trampolines and playground completed it. The egg hunt (we were there over Easter) was a lot of fun too! In short, a must !!

We have spent a long weekend at Jules Verne, and thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. From the house we have undertaken a variety of activities, so we went to Den Bosch, Tilburg and Breda. To conclude, we are Mondays, after we had checked out, went to the Efteling. We were 8 girls from 18-19 years old and thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. Because we were with a large group, it is difficult to find a nice and not too expensive home, so we were very happy about this house!

It is a 20-minute drive to the center, which is easy to do. The cottage is very nice and big. Everything you need is also present. The 3 bathrooms were a big advantage because we were 7 girls.
