This detached, single-storey chalet is located on the beautifully designed Park Westerkogge holiday park. Surrounded by greenery, yet only 8 from the pleasant, historic port town of Hoorn.
The modern, comfortably furnished chalet has a bright living room thanks to the large windows. The open kitchen is fully equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher and a microwave oven. There are three bedrooms, one with two single box-spring beds (which may or may not be set up as a double bed), one with two single beds and one with a bunk bed. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.
The chalet is surrounded by a lovely garden with a terrace and garden furniture. There's parking for one car at the chalet.
At Park Westerkogge holiday park, various chalets can be booked for four to six people.

Location and surroundings of object
Park Westerkogge is located in the community of Koggenland in the village of Berkhout. Old trees and wide hedges influence the ambience on this holiday park. In addition to the section where the chalets are located, there is a part reserved for campers. The park has many facilities including an open air swimming pool with a kids' pool. You can hire motor boats and electric scooters. The environment is varied: mills, bulb fields, dykes and wide canals surround the area. Do you want to enjoy the relaxation of the water on the park? Hire a canoe, or cast a line. Would you rather get out and about? Only 7 km from the park you will find the Ijsselmeer with a surfing/sailing beach. The charming city of Hoorn, with its lovely marinas, shopping streets and restaurants is easy to reach from Berkhout. Larger cities, such as Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar are within a 30 minute drive. Also recommended in the area are the covered swimming paradise in Hoorn, Fairy Tale Wonderland in Enkhuizen, the steam train to Medemblik, the Zuiderzee museum, the Zaanse Schans in Zaandam and the charming coastal towns of Bergen, Egmond and Schoorl.
Park Westerkogge is a watery park located some distance from the charming city of Hoorn. It has various facilities and the IJsselmeer beach is only 7 km away. An ideal destination for a successful holiday!
Construction work will take place at Westerkogge Park until at least 7-8-2020
The accommodation at this holiday park is intended for recreational use. Therefore, it is prohibited to stay at the holiday park for any purpose other than recreation. If it transpires that the purpose of your stay is any other than recreational, you'll be denied access to the park.
If the holiday home has air conditioning, you can use it for € 10.00 per day.
The swimming pool is open from the 1st of May.

Westerkogge is a nice place. It is however located far from everything, so a car is needed for everything other than Staying at The site.

The park is quiet and is currently under construction. The playground could have a bit more attractions, it is very small. Everything is accessible by car and there is a lot to discover. What is not so great is the cleaning of the house. Unfortunately, the remains of the previous guest were still found in the bathroom mirror, so I completely cleaned the bathroom myself with disinfectant wipes. There were also some traces of dirt in the nightstand. But it is definitely recommendable. Because even if you have something, they react immediately and everyone is very friendly here

Simple park with many new chalets. Our chalet was fine for 4 people, for 6 on the small side. The only toilet was in the small bathroom, which was difficult.

We spent a midweek at the park. This midweek we had a good time with the swimming pool and activity brochures at the reception, also arranging the barbecue from the reception was very good! Unfortunately, we often encountered certain points that could have been just a little better in order . On arrival we first cleaned the house because there was a lot of (pet) hair / dirt on the floor and a lot of dust / cobwebs on the furniture. The microwave / refrigerator / coffee maker were also not clean, which is a shame! The reception and catering contradict each other so that we were unable to do certain activities and looked up this outside the park. This as well as dining in the restaurant was not necessary according to reservation and turned out to be necessary afterwards. In short, it is a nice park, but it is important that you have adjusted expectations. With a little more attention to the details from the park, a lot of profit can be achieved.

Beautifully decorated tiny house. It is about 40 minutes to the sea and half an hour to Amsterdam. Everything extremely comfortable and clean. We will definitely be back!

Bedrooms were too small and beds were too hard. House was well cared for, because of the heat you could not properly illuminate the house. No more holidays with us at TOPPARKEN for the time being, unfortunately!

A park in development. Chalet looked pretty good. Sofa was quite worn, shower door needs to be replaced, otherwise little to criticize. Beautiful view, piece of garden bij.Het park itself could extend itself with, for example, a nice terrace at the front, a small camping shop and an extra play area for children at the back of the park.

The residence is located in a beautiful park and many water features.
We had a 6 person bungalow, where we stayed with 5 people.
The bungalow itself is fine, but for 5 people, we think that the shower room offers little storage space for toiletries and towels. A grab rail in the shower and a non-slip floor would be highly desirable. The kitchen counter should have been a bit longer and more storage space. A bedside table between the 2 beds with a night lamp on it would also not be out of place.

Great park to use as a base if you want to explore the north of North Holland.
Friendly welcome and we were able to enter the chalet quickly. Park is quite new and so is the chalet.
Everything looks neat and tidy.
The weather was bad in January, so we didn't see much of the park.
Highly recommended for a long weekend or week.
The only downside is the separate billing between the park and Belvilla. Because you have to pay a share on both sides, it doesn't make it any clearer.
