Resort De Rijp is centrally located in the province of North Holland. Though the park is in the middle of the polder, it's just a short distance to major cities such as Amsterdam, Alkmaar en Zaanstad. The park opened in mid-2012 and offers modern holiday villas, built in the traditional Zaans style characteristic of this part of the Netherlands. You will be able to use the overall facilities, including a covered swimming pool, tennis courts, playground, open-air swimming pool and the bicycle rental. There is more than enough to experience outside the park itself. All you have to do is drive ten minutes away and you will feel yourself transported back to the 17th century. You can discover this 17th-century atmosphere in villages such as De Rijp, Middenbeemster and Driehuizen, and of course at the Zaanse Schans. Be sure to visit the windmills at Schermer as well, which recently underwent a complete restoration. Historic towns and cities such as Hoorn, Volendam and Edam are within easy reach and definitely worth a visit. The IJsselmeer, the North Sea and Holland's beautiful dunes are also easy to reach. Also by bike! Together, the traditional and authentic architectural style, the area's vast amount of water, and the park's central location all form the ingredients that make Resort De Rijp such a great destination. Rural peace and quiet, urban activity and the sense of freedom that the water provides - Resort De Rijp offers all this and more.

Resort De Rijp is centrally located in the province of North Holland, surrounded by lots of water. It is just a short distance to cities such as Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Zaanstad. A perfect base for exploring the surroundings, such as the Zaanse Schans, which are rich in history. A modern park with many facilities in true Zaans style.

Use of the tennis court is for a fee.

We were already at the park at 2 p.m. and had to wait an hour for the key. At 3 pm back to the reception and then it was all chaos. The reception is simply too small for all coming people and cars. Our house was not ready yet at 3 pm, but that was compensated with a consumption voucher. The house was very nice and equipped with almost everything. Almost means that on the bathroom was not a curtain in front of the window so you were taking a shower for Jan en Alleman. Also the lack of a shower curtain was annoying. As a result, the bathroom became soaking wet after every shower. There were also missing curtains in part of the living room and in the kitchen In the bunk bed there was a loose slatted base on a few planks which caused a lot of creaking. It was removed and put back afterwards. But the most annoying thing was the high temperature in the house. 39 degrees C. This was very uncomfortable. Due to the high temperature and having to keep the windows closed against the hordes of mosquitoes, a good night's sleep was impossible. We can imagine that during an there season it is a perfect house for a great holiday. Especially because you can be in all of North Holland within half an hour (Alkmaar, Egmond, Volendam, Bergen aan Zee and more). But with rising temperatures, air conditioning is a must.

Arrival fine. The accommodation was not cleaned properly, some dust in the mattresses, several dead beaten mosquitoes against the walls. Windows very dirty. The floor for the shower cubicle is rather unstable, luckily we didn't get through it. The area is beautiful.

I had asked for a house that did not border on the water but the lady said it did not border on the water if I really wanted this house (I was home at the time) I had to make a new booking with an additional price for choice of the house, so I guess I don't pay it. When at reception Park (de Rijp) I asked again the lady (all-knowing type) said it is surrounded by hedges. So otherwise I was still too late, well before we arrived our grandchild was of course the first on the adjacent jetty on the water. What a sad fall from that reception there.

The house was nice and the park was well maintained. Nevertheless, we would not visit it again. The staff was unfriendly and for dogs the park is garnicht.Da there was only a small lawn for dogs and not to mention it disposal trash can In addition, there were mostly season workers from abroad, so no nice vacation atmosphere came up. I also recommend a lot of spray for the mosquitoes, as there is no protection at the houses. The park is only for one short weekend suitable, more unfortunately not.

We had booked a 6 person chalet on the water. Were some time ago near the resort and understood by the receptionist that we would get 535 chalet. When we arrived we were given the key to 411. After inspection showed that four persons, not 6. We returned there and was told chalet number may change, but not from 6 to 4 persons. We have recovered 50 euros after consultations. Unfortunately, not on the water and less space, very nice inside. We had 3 people so it went, but extra space is always nice we think. We have. Had a wonderful holiday, we have noticed that there were very many tenants bloc, which is quite a shame, would you still stay between vacationers and off foreign workers. Fortunately, we only had Sunday some inconvenience, further niet.Dus just a nice holiday gehad.Groetjes family Haanskorf

The accommodation was not acceptable. The bathroom smelled terrible from the drain. The smell spread throughout the entire chalet at first. We had to open all the windows. The couch was very worn and had stains, even on the cushions. The swimming pool was closed for a day due to poor water quality. The playground was not very inviting, the trash container is not far away and it smells like garbage. There are also way too many dogs in this park even though they are leashed. The only positive thing is the friendly staff.

The house had a lot of ants running around the table and room and in the bathroom, we had reported it very often, we had mold in the bathroom, which was not eliminated bothered us a lot we are considering whether we should ever book through you again because what I paid was a lot of money for me we also paid for a person who was only there for 5 days because she has asthma and that with the mold doesn't work that's why we're considering going somewhere else next year and booking through another company because I reported it to you too and we didn't get another house either and at breakfast the ants run all over your rolls and in your you can't eat it was disgusting and didn't get an apology or compensation i have to work a lot and very long hours for what i paid.
