Resort De Rijp is centrally located in the province of North Holland. Though the park is in the middle of the polder, it's just a short distance to major cities such as Amsterdam, Alkmaar en Zaanstad. The park opened in mid-2012 and offers modern holiday villas, built in the traditional Zaans style characteristic of this part of the Netherlands. You will be able to use the overall facilities, including a covered swimming pool, tennis courts, playground, open-air swimming pool and the bicycle rental. There is more than enough to experience outside the park itself. All you have to do is drive ten minutes away and you will feel yourself transported back to the 17th century. You can discover this 17th-century atmosphere in villages such as De Rijp, Middenbeemster and Driehuizen, and of course at the Zaanse Schans. Be sure to visit the windmills at Schermer as well, which recently underwent a complete restoration. Historic towns and cities such as Hoorn, Volendam and Edam are within easy reach and definitely worth a visit. The IJsselmeer, the North Sea and Holland's beautiful dunes are also easy to reach. Also by bike! Together, the traditional and authentic architectural style, the area's vast amount of water, and the park's central location all form the ingredients that make Resort De Rijp such a great destination. Rural peace and quiet, urban activity and the sense of freedom that the water provides - Resort De Rijp offers all this and more.

Resort De Rijp is centrally located in the province of North Holland, surrounded by lots of water. It is just a short distance to cities such as Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Zaanstad. A perfect base for exploring the surroundings, such as the Zaanse Schans, which are rich in history. A modern park with many facilities in true Zaans style.

Accommodation in Europarcs, hundreds of holiday homes, therefore faster and rather impersonal reception, before absolutely transfer the utilities, then check-in is fast. Accommodation sufficiently equipped, only 4 German TV channels, no toaster, at high heat and aggressive mosquitoes airing impossible at night, rooms are also warm by sleepers automatically; Air conditioning would have been great! Park with playground and bouncy castles, restaurant and supermarket (also open on Sundays) both expensive, outdoor and indoor pool. Park of channels crossed with waterfowl, beach half an hour, Alkmaar (beautiful) quarter of an hour away!

Upon arrival it appeared that the cottage was full of mosquitoes. We caught about 60 of us and in the course of the holidays we were still at 20. In addition, the moltons on the beds were not clean, we knocked them outside ourselves. In the bathroom was also not cleaned, witness the hair and shaving foam on the doorpost ... In addition, the specifications were not complete, we have passed this at the reception. The cleaning crew then cleaned the bathroom. The cottage is practically furnished, dishwasher did not stay closed and had to be blocked with a broom. Environment is nice, ducks and swans at the cottage, park looks neat.

The arrival started badly. The address shown on the booking form turned out to be an old entrance with a closed reception. When inquiring in the restaurant we were sent to the newly built new entrance at 5 min.rijden.Bij reception they could first our booking did not find, after a few minutes it was said, a booking via belvilla.De house looked fine and clean from almost new.Also a failure of the TV was pretty quickly solved.Op the park is not much to experience especially not for children .Wel is there in the area of everything to be seen. But I think it is in the spring and summer a lot nicer in the park also by the many water and the boats.

The cottage itself was fine, lying in a beautiful location. The park is also centrally located in the province so you can make nice trips in the omgeving.Echter the house was not clean when we arrived, we washed pans and glasses before we could use them. When we arrived at the house there was a strange dirty smell. Eventually we found out that the drain of the shower is not working properly, so there was an awful sewage smell in the house. Unfortunately, it has not been fixed after a technician has visited. Luckily we had a roll of duck tape so we could cover the drain. Every time we took a shower the tape had to come off and a smell came out…. I hope for the next guests that it can now really be made good and that complaints are taken seriously by the park.
