House in Volendam with Marina View

Beautiful stay. Good starting point. Good price.

When you drive onto the grounds in the evening, you completely miss the reception. Poorly indicated and not visible from the car at night. It was not made clear to me beforehand or at the desk that the 'cabin' was on the first floor. Scary, dangerous stairs made of grates. You can't see where you're walking at all; only the outside lighting shines through. I was searching for 303b in the dark. From below, you can't see the upper numbers. In the cabin, it was still not warm after an hour and a half. It was not clean there, especially on the indoor stairs you could see dust/sand/crumbs. TV mounted far from the seating area on the wall. All in all, I felt quite unhappy there.

The apartment was changed shortly before the start date from ground floor to a higher located apartment. My wife, who has difficulty walking, was not at all happy with this change. That there was about 70 meters to walk with all the luggage from the parking lot to the apartment was an unpleasant surprise and made it no easier to settle in. In the kitchen cabinets, all the glasses were smudged and dirty, clearly not cleaned properly before or after the departure of the previous tenant. Furthermore, it was a pleasant stay and helpful staff assisted us at departure to transport the luggage with a golf cart over a very smooth and slippery path (thaw after frost period) to the car.

Very good location, quiet yet quickly accessible to the harbor promenade and city center, great view of the sea and marina, accommodation was clean, uncomplicated check-in, we quickly got into relaxation mode and recovered very well. Thanks to the belvilla team!

Está muy bien ubicado, con parking privado y bien comunicado con el centro de Volendam, parada de bus en la misma calle para ir a Amsterdam y junto a carreteras para moverte por la zona. Como pega, solo había 2 tenedores, el cazo para las comidas es del tamaño de una cuchara, pero te sirve.

The layout of the houses is as described, the location directly by the harbor is very nice. Unfortunately, the furnishings were quite worn, the sofa partially sagging, the microwave makes strange noises, so always unplug it after use. Otherwise, it is fine.
