One downside is that the beds and the covering of the mattress and pillow are plastic, which is very warm and sticky.

The house is beautiful, but the reason it was not perfect for us is that the house was extremely hot. While the thermostat was set to 18 degrees, it was 24 degrees, and with the windows open, it couldn't get cold, which was not pleasant for sleeping. (It was 5 degrees outside)

Simply wonderful! The villa is beautifully designed and offers breathtaking views. We loved the proximity to local dining options, especially to 'Herberg de Aanleg.'

The holiday home is beautiful and well located. However, there are major negative points for the beds and pillows (they are covered with a kind of plastic, which is certainly hygienic but incredibly uncomfortable...) and the rules before you leave the house.

You have to leave by 10 a.m. at the latest, which I think is quite early when you consider that all the beds have to be stripped by then, all the garbage cans emptied, everything washed up and the apartment swept clean...that was incredibly stressful and didn't allow us to have breakfast in peace on the last morning.

If you then consider that you are asked to let us know when you are really leaving two days before departure - for example, at 9 a.m. - you get the feeling that you are really no longer welcome on the last day.

My tip: maybe just hire more cleaners - then the holiday homes would be cleaner (because that wasn't so great) and guests would have a more relaxed stay.

Otherwise, the holiday home is superbly equipped and really nice!!

I had also mentioned the above points to the landlords and asked for feedback, but never heard anything back...

Our stay in the villa in De Cocksdorp was absolutely delightful! The location is a dream, just a short bike ride from the beach and surrounded by lush nature. The villa itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a fantastic open kitchen and a cozy living area that felt like home. We especially loved having our own sauna to relax in after a day of exploring Texel. The nearby restaurants and shops were a bonus, and we enjoyed several meals in Den Burg. We really enjoyed the beautiful stay. We would like to continue to live/buy there. We have a few more tips: there were no hooks in the bathrooms to hang things on. The duvets were thick, these may be summer duvets. The downstairs bathroom could not be used in the evening as it caused the fire alarm to go off twice. This was quite scary at eleven o'clock in the evening. It was a beautiful luxury house and the terrace was nice to stay with nice chairs. Compliments for the decor and the beautiful bathrooms. I hope that everyone who will use it will be just as careful with the beautiful things as we have done. Maybe another tip if you place a bubble bath to make a drain in front of it so that the water that goes over it can drain into it. I would like to test new houses seems very nice and then give tips. I would also like to be kept informed if there are new houses for rent. We have rented through you before. So we are satisfied.
