Schnicher check-in was important to us as well as good beds for restful sleep. The cleanliness throughout the house was very satisfactory and contributed to a pleasant stay.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Very nice little house in the greenery and equipped with all conveniences, great!

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Quiet spot, easy to settle in and relax.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Checked in late and found the house warm and ready. Plenty of room for six of us, with a handy kitchen that made meal prep simple. We spent evenings by the fireplace and mornings on the terrace enjoying views. The garden was great for stretching out after hikes nearby.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Ich bin selten leicht beeindruckt, aber die Waschmaschine half uns dabei, die Kleidung während unseres Wochenaufenthaltes frisch zu halten. Die ruhigen Nächte ermöglichten eine erholsame Nachtruhe.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Parking right outside the door made everything easier as we arrived late from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The bedrooms were roomy enough for two people to spread out comfortably. Mornings started well using the coffee machine then stepping out onto the terrace for fresh air before heading out to local trails. Das Personal war stets freundlich und sorgte dafür, dass wir uns willkommen fühlten.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Top cottage, delightful peace

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

There was peace and comfort throughout our stay. I enjoyed sitting outside on the garden furniture while I read. The staff were friendly and helpful during our visit.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Cozy decor with a good balance between modern kitchen appliances and a comfortable living space.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Better than expected for this price. Not fancy, but clean and with practical appliances like a dishwasher and coffee machine. Felt more homey than some accommodations with rather sparse kitchen equipment.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Very beautiful quiet location, in the middle of the forest and bushes, many birds around you, and nice squirrels. Ample space in the house, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plenty of wood for the wood stove available. Surrounding places Holten Rijssen Deventer, possibly even Apenheul, all nearby. Nice to visit that. We had a very nice week, definitely to avoid the hustle and bustle, wonderful. Regards, Rutgert Oosterhuis

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Very nice stay in a beautiful environment

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Fantastic stay, everything included. Beautiful surroundings. There was a notebook that I unfortunately didn't write in because I got sick. I will definitely want to come back in the summer to see how it is then. A recommendation if you want to relax. Once again, a wonderful house with everything included.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Well-equipped clean little house with a nice atmosphere. The upper floor/ground floor is very nice with beautiful light and views from many sides of the spacious green garden. The spacious garage/shed had play equipment such as a dartboard, rackets, stilts, ball, etc., which the children loved as their 'own playhouse.' The lower floor is practical, quite spacious with comfortable beds; this is underground, so clearly less atmospheric than upstairs, but we only stayed there during sleep, so no problem.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

The house and garden are really beautiful. The house is clean and larger than it appears in the photos. The downside is the toilets. The toilet downstairs (only for small business) is not pleasant; the water is high in the bowl, which you don't like to sit on. The toilet in the bathroom is unfortunately positioned. If you are a bit tall (1.90), you can't just sit on it. You have to sit at an angle to fit your feet. But further, beautiful house, nice and quiet.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

A beautiful place in Holten in a kind of holiday park where several houses are located. All owned by different owners, so no 'center par s' feeling. Beautiful cottage with a lovely garden and plenty of space. Wonderful cycling routes and the village within cycling distance. Nice small center with some cozy spots to eat. The house is clean and cozy! We enjoyed it. Thank you for a lovely week! We definitely recommend this house! Warm regards, Serge and Esther

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Period May 9 to 16, 2025, was a fantastic period because we made use of the holiday home "Woodhuis" in Houten Overijssel. Upon entering, we were amazed at how beautiful the house was. It has a regal appearance, and even the cutlery had a golden edge. Everything was more than sufficient, and upon arrival, the lovely beds were already made by the owner. Plenty of space in the bedrooms, the living room, and the kitchen. In the lower-lying basement area, there were 2 lovely cool bedrooms and a bathroom, which was very pleasant with the warm weather. Around the house was an oasis of trees, birds, and squirrels. For many families, it is highly recommended to also enjoy this property.

The vacation home was spacious and clean, and provided a comfortable base for our weekend trip. It had all the essential things we needed, and the fireplace added a cozy touch. Although it is on a main street, we found it not noisy at all. There are beautiful walking paths nearby, which we appreciated. Overall, a solid choice for a peaceful stay in nature.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

We enjoyed the holiday home "THE WOUDHUIS" in Holten. We were received very hospitably there for a week, the house so beautiful in a green environment and detached. A house fully furnished you only have to bring your clothes and food / drinks and for the rest, everything is provided, no towels, bedding, etc etc everything is er.Mooie garden with covered terrace grote.Zeker highly recommended. Just a pity that Belvilla is in between, what a worthless organization, to the point of threatening that the remaining amount had to be paid on time while there is still more than a week in between. We had chosen the option, down payment and 6 weeks before the start of the rental house. What is our surprise by email, and that was at least 7 to 8 weeks before depositing the remaining amount, a reminder to pay immediately, otherwise the agreement will be cancelled, well you can't make me angrier, also on the response that I immediately sent back have no response, so it's a shame that they treat customers like that.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

We can heartily recommend this house. It is fully equipped with good beds and a lovely garden. It is located just outside Holten. You can reach the center within 10 minutes by bike.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

We stayed in the holiday home from 19 to 26 May 2023. There was a cold draughty wind during this period. But we had a great time. The Woudhuis met the expectations as described. The Memory Freedom Museum in Nijverdal is highly recommended. Especially the 8 minute movie with special effects. The Pelmolen in Rijssen is also worth the tour (€ 3 per person).

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

The arrival was good we were welcomed by Manny Lensink. We were given a tour of the house and a welcome gift was on the table. The bungalow was fine everything was present and clean. The beds were fine. an advantage that we slept downstairs and that is nice and cool when it is warm.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

We were received very well and received a tour so that you feel right at home. The house is really equipped with everything. The beds are very good and slept wonderfully. The garden is so beautiful you imagine yourself in a nature film, so many different birds, ferrets, squirrels you name it great. We enjoyed this week and return home feeling satisfied.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Arrival excellent, and friendly, clear explanation about the bungalow. The accommodation was really good, fully equipped, looked very neat, and cozy and decorative. Around a beautiful garden with canopy lighting and various seating areas. The accommodation is in the middle of a wooded area, many cycling trips in beautiful surroundings, including Holterberg.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

we have been coming to this holiday home twice a year since 2020.

The house is well cared for and everything is there. What is also nice is that when it is very hot you sleep downstairs where it is very cool.

It is definitely recommended. the owners are also always there for you.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Beautiful house with beautiful garden. Superb cycling environment. Close to A1 (no nuisance) and provincial road (you can hear the traffic) Note: Belvilla indicates that there are two bathrooms. This is not the case. The downstairs toilet is only for the small message. In this time of the corona that was difficult. The stairs down are quite steep.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Very well equipped house, clean, quiet, beautiful garden, everything you could need in a kitchen is available here. Everything has been thought of. Careful and sympathetic owners who take pleasure in making you feel at home.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

We were 2 adults and a 6-year-old child and have been 1 week, 10/15 minutes away were beautiful walks, Although you are close to the highway, you hear nothing of it, Clean house, very nice that the beds are already were made, WiFi worked great, Very cozy / attractively decorated, made good use of the fireplace with the freezing cold outside, An absolute must to relax for a while,

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Nice welcome, nice welcome, Accommodation is great: fully furnished, very well kept and with an eye for detail. Beautiful natural, surprising and lively garden with all privacy. Beautiful area for a walking or cycling trip. Nice tourist villages. In short ... ... enjoy!

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

What a fantastic house this is. with very nice garden very good internet fantastic beds good pans good working TV lots of space large bedrooms. Delicious with every day squirrels in the garden and Vlaamse Gaai who have cost us 3 bags of peanuts in 1 week but that was so nice. Great shower. Really a super house and super location. If there must be something that it isn't 10 but a 9.5 is that we thought we could walk into the forest from the cottage this was not the case.We had to drive 2 kilometers and there was a day recreation with a lot of beautiful walks with various distances. some noise from the pump, but a big 9.5 super recommendable. We already had a lot of houses, but this one was really the most beautiful with a lot of space.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

The house is easy to find via the directions. It is a wonderfully comfortable and clean holiday home with good beds and a beautiful garden around it. It is in a beautiful setting. You can make beautiful bike rides from here and it is also a beautiful hiking area. Holten has all the shops you need.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Received on site by the hostess, a warm welcome! The accommodation is everything you can expect based on the website ........ and then a little more. We have been regularly surprised by what we found; the fireplace that is present, towels in the bathroom etc .... We loved the surroundings, it was autumn, the trees and leaves colored beautifully!

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

The accommodation is really great, you can't wish for anything else. Fully furnished, you miss nothing, everything is there. A beautiful garden with various seating areas, where you can choose between sun and shade! Only the noise from the highway was sometimes annoying. Really recommended. The area is beautiful and Holten is a beautiful and friendly village.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Nice cozy clean house, in the middle of the woods near Holten Everything is there highly recommended! We cycle many beautiful routes Then it is wonderful to come home to a clean cozy house 🐿🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

Beautifully maintained house with everything needed for a very pleasant stay. Lovely beds, clean towels and kitchen towels every day. Cutlery and crockery are widely available so that the dishwasher does not always have to be turned on. Living room very tastefully decorated and the garden is fantastic.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

t Woudhuis in Holten is a very pleasant and comfortable holiday home. Fully equipped and surrounded by a beautiful, green garden. Despite the fact that there are other (holiday) houses around it, there is a lot of privacy in the house and the garden. There are many cycling and walking opportunities in the area: the Sallandse Heuvelrug and the Borkeld. The cottage is most comfortable for up to 4 people (in terms of surface area and 1 shower). The wifi is excellent, the TV modern and good heating. The bedrooms are downstairs in the basement, which is good to know if you have mobility problems. The furnishings have been carried out with care and furniture, beds, crockery, etc. are of solid quality. Contact with the landlord was pleasant and smooth.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

We were there for 5 people with 2 children for 1 week in the fall. There was a very nice reception and a really nice very nicely decorated house with a lot of attention to detail. Everything you need, even in the kitchen, for larger menus with several The garden is also very nicely designed and invites you to watch birds and squirrels.

After a very friendly welcome by the owner, we had a wonderful week. The house is very well furnished, clean, good beds, good internet, a garage where you can park your bikes and possibly charge and a beautiful garden. From the house you can make beautiful bike rides and by car you can easily reach Germany. In short, highly recommended!

The holiday home was absolutely perfect. We spent a week in the autumn holiday in Henk and Manny's house. A very nice house, clean and equipped with all conveniences. With a beautiful garden and a garage where we could easily park our bikes. Really everything was present in the house and in the garage, lovely beds and nice and quiet. The explanation, the procedure upon arrival and departure was also well arranged. In short, definitely worth going back again.

What a lovely house. All the trimmings really. Sufficient bath and kitchen linen, plenty of crockery in the cupboards, you name it. The location is nice and quiet and very central for fun things to do in the area. It was nice that there was also a spacious garage for the bicycles. The squirrels and birds that regularly come to the terrace to get something tasty are really beautiful to see. We enjoyed it. To the owners; thank you for the great care and keep it up. Top!!!

A beautifully situated house, with all mod cons. In addition, everything was complete, many birds and squirrels were seen. However, there was only 1 bathroom, the other was a sink, with a special toilet, for the small message. Everything was clean.

What a wonderful holiday. The house is suitable for 4 adults and possibly 2 children. Everything has been thought of by the owners. Bed linen, bath and kitchen linen. Fully equipped kitchen. Great beds. There is a toilet on the ground floor as well as in the sousterain. Great shower. Washing machine. Good mattresses on the beds. Beautifully landscaped garden, seating areas etc etc. Super friendly and helpful owners Henk and Manny. Also nice gift on arrival. I recommend that everyone book this house. We, 4 adults, stayed from 11 to 14 December 2020. And oh yes, the house is really spic and span!

We were warmly received by the owner. There was a nice welcome gift ready. The accommodation is really well equipped and more than complete. Delicious beds that are made on arrival, that is very nice. The area is beautiful, in short, a great place to stay for a few days.

A lovely house. fun games for children. eg Darts in the barn. There are many things to do in the area. eg GPS trip in cavities, especially with slightly older children very nice. The pool in Deventer is also fun on a worse day. The cottage is exactly as in the pictures. Netjes and the beds delicious and made up on arrival. We have had a wonderful holiday and nothing missed in the cottage.

We were very warmly received by the owner of this beautiful house. A short tour and explanation. We were very satisfied. Made-up beds, bath and kitchen linen are available. Nothing was missing. The beautiful house is located in a beautiful area where you are woken up in the morning by the whistling of the many birds.A beautiful landscaped garden and a large garage make this house complete.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

We are pleasantly and warmly received. The house was for us, everything could be used. There was more than enough crockery and the like for 5 people (first with 2 adults, later with 3 young adults there). It is a fine accommodation both inside and outside. Within sufficient movement and living space. Two of the three bedrooms are in the basement. There the temperature is significantly lower. We had very nice weather, that extra coolness was fine. Downstairs in the basement also a toilet and wide sink. Upstairs in the bathroom toilet, sink and shower. With 5 people, the shower is attuned to each other, but that did take care of itself. Because of the beautiful weather and the beautiful surroundings a lot lived outside. The garden around the house is beautiful and very nice with the privacy and many seating areas. Enormously enjoyed the many birds that were partly busy to take care of the youngsters in the nest boxes. There is only one drawback to mention you hear quite a lot of traffic from the provincial road, but the birds present are doing their very best to drown out this sound. Environment is beautiful and very varied. You can go many ways. Two tips the walking bikes in Holten are recommended as well as grill-bar restaurant Legendarios (reservation is recommended).

We had arrived half an hour earlier than planned, but that was no problem for the owner and just received warmly! A bottle of wine and chocolates were ready at reception. Upon entering the house we immediately got a warm 'welcome-home-feeling', first impression was very good. After the owner had shown us all the rooms and facilities, we then looked at the beautiful garden at our leisure and could immediately enjoy all the bird song sounds. Although it was rainy this day and a bit gloomy outside, these sounds made it a lot happier. Both in the house itself and outside everything was well cared for and maintained. Inside it was nicely tidy, clean and the beds were tightly made and smelled wonderfully fresh. In terms of practical matters it was pretty complete, you could find almost anything if you needed something. I would definitely recommend this house if you like privacy and a natural environment. Here you can enjoy intense romantic evenings as well as with families or a small group of people. There is really plenty to do in the area, both for people who love nature and history and for the little ones and teenagers, who would like to do all kinds of outdoor activities, or for shop lovers in the nearby cities. You can also enjoy yourself in the cottage itself on rainy days. Our well-deserved compliments to the owners, we wish you much success and hopefully we can and may enjoy many more people of your place, as we have done!

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

The welcome was very warm. A bottle of wine and Easter eggs were ready. The accommodation was perfect for us with 2 people. A beautiful garden was present. A garage for storing the bike is excellent. Beautiful surroundings for cycling among others the Sallands ridge.

The manager of the accommodation was on arrival to hang nuts for the squirrels in the garden, because it is such a nice sight when they are eating it outside It was wet and cold, inside it was comfortably warm and The candles were cozy, the beds were delicious and the pamper package was ready .. Need we say more? The house was above expectations goed.Ruime room and spacious bedrooms.Assembled fine sanitation.Everything was available, for everything We even had a board full of games, which we used extensively and everything was wonderfully clean and tidy.In the garage the children quickly discovered the outdoor toys and we indeed enjoyed the squirrels who nibbled on the terrace on the nuts Given the weather conditions we have not explored the area, but there is plenty to do! Normally you sigh after a holiday that it is still wonderful to be in your own bed. We longed to return to the beds in the holiday home. What was that delicious! We had a fantastic time!

The stairs down are quite steep.

t Woudhuis in Holten is a very pleasant and comfortable holiday home.
