we are pleased that you are interested in our 5-star comfort holiday home / holiday flat in the Baltic Sea resort of Prerow on the Darß. We offer year-round holiday quality in a good and quiet location in the Baltic Sea resort of Prerow on the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula. The holiday terraced house is centrally and quietly located in Prerow on the Darß and only a few minutes' walk from the fine sandy Baltic Sea beach of Prerow Bay.

Comfortable holiday terraced house (built 2007) 74 m2, for 2 to 5 persons. Living area with fitted kitchen, underfloor heating and wood-burning stove. 2 shower bathrooms with WC, 2 bedrooms. Sunny south/west terrace with furniture and barbecue. Car parking space and covered bicycle parking space on the property
Our holiday terraced house was awarded the best rating "5 stars" by the German Tourism Association in 2007, 2010 and 2014. On arrival, you will be handed over in 5-star quality.
So that you can spend a pleasant holiday in our terraced house, we have equipped our terraced house for you with a washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, satellite TV, DVD player, stereo system, DSL internet access and 7-zone Dunlopillo mattresses (with LGA seal of approval). The sofa bed in the living room has a lying surface of 220 x 140 cm. The 4-season quilts consist of two individual duvets. This allows for an optimal adjustment to your individual needs. Furthermore, a cot and high chair are available in the holiday home on request.

Location and surroundings of object
Located in a quiet side street, you are in the centre in 5 minutes on foot. The north beach in the Prerow Bay is 10 minutes away. By bike, you can reach the picturesque Darßer West Beach in 20 minutes. Shopping facilities such as a bakery and supermarket are nearby.
An old stock of trees and a historic hawthorn hedge characterise our property. The idyllic atmosphere of the quietly situated Buchenstraße is rounded off by numerous listed buildings.
Since we live on the 2400 sqm property ourselves, we are a contact person for our guests at all times. On arrival, you will be given an introduction to the technical features of the house. If you wish, we can provide you with tips and suggestions on the infrastructure and leisure activities.
The Baltic seaside resort of Prerow is located in one of the most charming natural landscapes in Germany, because nowhere else are steep and flat coasts, spits, beach lakes and bodden, wind mudflats, dunes and sandy beaches so close together. Even today, this diverse coastal landscape of forests, moors and dunes is inhabited by many rare and interesting animal and plant species. White-tailed eagles, cranes and otters live here, old gnarled beeches grow here, fabulous alder swamps and wonderfully flowering heath.
To protect the unique fauna and flora, the Darß-Zingst peninsula has been declared a national park. Here you can take a deep breath, forget the stress of everyday life and find peace. The possible change between the individual stimulating climate zones is said to have a particularly high recreational value: rough and iodine-rich directly at the sea, particularly oxygen-rich in the extensive forests, mild on the Bodden side.
The 5 km long and up to 80 m wide sandy beach is considered the most beautiful on the German Baltic coast. The fine sand and stone-free northern beach, with only gradually sloping shore, also offers children ideal bathing conditions in the wind-protected and groyne-free Prerow Bay. The snow-white sand and the crystal-clear water of Prerow Bay, which shimmers green-blue in the sunlight, sometimes give a Mediterranean impression.
According to the German-French television channel arte, the Darß west coast is one of the 20 most striking and beautiful beaches in the world. The wildly dishevelled beach in the north of the peninsula is one of the most pristine and impressive seashores in Europe, said director Marc Blezinger of the arte series "Summer, Sun, Beach".
The pristine beauty of the western beach is undisturbed by wind and sea. In places, the beach is characterised by a high dune without trees or shrubs. The forest only begins about 80 - 100 m behind the dunes; in front of it are bizarrely shaped pine and beech trees, which have been formed into natural monuments typical of the landscape, the so-called wind fleeces, by the constant influence of the westerly wind.
Its spaciousness and the old tree population give Prerow an unmistakable face. A promenade with cafés, restaurants and shops leads to the 395m-long pier. The Darß Museum provides a lively insight into the geological history and tradition of crafts and culture on the peninsula. Regular cabaret events in the Kulturkaten or in the Seemannskirche, which is well worth seeing, and many festivals throughout the year ensure a varied stay.

Cancellation terms:
If the tenant cancels the contract, the landlord is entitled to a flat fee of 50 euros. If no other rental can be made, the landlord has a claim for compensation as follows: Up to 45 days before the start of the rental period - 15% of the rental price 44-30 days before the start of the rental period - 50% of the rental price From 29 days before the start of the rental period - 80% of the rental price If the tenant arrives later or departs earlier, they are not entitled to a refund of any part of the rental price.

Feeling good... if not here, then where!!
We spent a week in November in this really cozy townhouse and felt very comfortable. It is spacious and has everything a person needs. We used the fireplace daily (wood for the first fire was available). The nice landlord, Mr. Hellwich, gave us interesting and helpful tips about the area and restaurants upon arrival. Our forgotten rain gear was even sent to us afterwards. If we come to Prerow again, we will try to book this accommodation again.

Nice vacation with nice landlords
We spent 14 days there with 4 adults and a baby, which was not originally planned, but Corona threw a spanner in the works. However, the Hellwich family was very accommodating. We will definitely spend our holiday there again.
PS: A beautiful house and very quiet location. Still centrally located.

Feeling good and relaxing
We felt very comfortable as during the last 6 stays. In each of the three cozy houses, furnished with upscale amenities, we recovered very well. We have already tried each house and can recommend each one. You can reach many nearby destinations by bike. Our children were so excited during a visit that they booked a vacation there themselves.

Wunderschönes Feriendomizil
We have once again spent our vacation in this row house and had wonderful weeks at the Baltic Sea. The furnishings and location of the holiday home are excellent and leave nothing to be desired. We always like to come back!

in 1990 we were able to admire this very special charm of the Darßwald with its northern and western beaches for the first time. This fascinating coastal region with its dreamlike quartz sand beaches has never let us go. Since 1991 we have spent every free minute in the Baltic Sea resort of Prerow on the Darß. Professionally, numerous hiking and cycling maps were researched by us and published by Nordland-Kartenverlag. In 2001 we moved from Hanover to Prerow.
