Beautiful apartment, beautifully located with a stunning view. The apartment is built on the old city wall, from the 2nd century. The village itself feels medieval in every way, except for modern amenities. They are well taken care of. Mobile phone reception is good, mobile internet is rather poor. Residents are friendly, but with exceptions, only speak Italian. The hostess is very friendly and speaks excellent English. Cultural events are organized weekly in the village, which you can usually attend for free. There is a great restaurant in the village, but there are no shops. So for groceries, you have to drive a bit. For us, the supermarket in Pomerance was the favorite. From the village, beautiful day trips can be made to Florence, Pisa, and Siena. Or a nice day at the coast if you like the beach. If you are looking for a low-stimulation environment where you can truly relax and unwind, then this is your place.

Simply put, we liked it! The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to easily prepare meals. The hosts were friendly and made us feel at home. Additionally, being close to local restaurants was a bonus. Highly recommended!

We were welcomed by the female owner, the local doctor. The house was nicely decorated and very cozy, which immediately gave you a home feeling. The area is simply beautiful. The panoramic view from the terrace on the Tuscan hills was phenomenal. It is really a pity that this terrace was insufficiently shielded from the hot, blazing sun, both above and on the sides (read: amateurish). That way you could only use it for a short time during the day.

Montecastelli Pissano, What a nice idyllic town, narrow streets old houses super friendly people, Fetching water with bottles at the city stop, Really no stress relaxing with all the days great weather. Our apartment "AWESOME" nicely decorated and complete. Owner has put all her soul and bliss into the apartment, so that it does not feel like a house, but a home. The terrace fantastic what a view .. town centrally located between various trips nothing close but really central and good to do, you really have to have a car. Pisa, Volterra, baratti (sea) and San Gimignano are really worth the effort. You can also swim nearby in a river with rocks that you can jump from, super nice and beautiful (difficult to find) There is 1 restaurant in town, you can eat well, but the choice is limited by the bad ones purchasing, there is often everything on, but overall had a great holiday in a Top apartment.

Our stay at Belvilla by OYO Vista dalla Terrazza was simply charming! The private terrace offered stunning views of the Tuscan hills, making morning coffee a truly special experience. The kids loved the nearby Geothermal Museum, and we appreciated the cozy living room after a day of exploration.

We could easily find Montecastelli, a beautiful medieval village on a mountain. Nedda, we met the owner in the bar / restaurant and we met each other there. They advised us a few things in the area. Very friendly and helpful. The view from the house is really beautiful. We enjoyed the Tuscan landscape on the balcony. Also very nice was the water machine at the end of the street with (free) spring water and for 5 cents / liter sparkling water. There was a bottle rack in the house that we filled every day. Montecastelli is a nice village with narrow streets where most cars do not fit. The streets are connected with stairs, very authentic. The interior is very spacious and nicely decorated with all amenities. The bar / restaurant was good but due to too few staff and too many guests, the waiting time was sometimes too high.In the area is also a very nice riding school where experienced riders can make nice rides in nature.
