The apartment, built in 1995, has a living area of about 42 m² and is located on the top floor, on the first floor. It consists of a cozy living room with a south-facing balcony overlooking the garden, a fully equipped kitchenette with dining area, a spacious shower room/toilet, and a bedroom with a double bed. Additionally, there is an open sleeping nook in the attic, ideally for 2 children, which is accessible via a staircase in the living room (no standing height). Furthermore, our holiday apartment has a storage room and a car parking space. In the garden, which is used communally, you will find a cabin (No. 6) with garden chairs and a table, where you can also park your bicycles if necessary. Since the year 2024, you will find 2 charging stations for electric cars right outside the front door. (Provider Küstenstrom, see also under pictures)

Holiday Apartment Carolinensiel "Fuchsbau
Welcome to Carolinensiel,
the non-smoking holiday flat is located in a complex of 6 flats, some of which are privately used. It is centrally located - approx. 300 m to the old harbour and approx. 2500 m to the beach. Grocery shops, pharmacy, doctors are within walking distance. A supermarket, which is also open on Sundays in the high season, is in the immediate vicinity.
The flat is centrally located in the Kutterweg / corner of Wittmunder Straße in Carolinensiel.
In a few minutes you can reach the centre of the village or the spa centre with the indoor swimming pool. You will need a little more time to get to the beach or Harlesiel harbour. The centre and heart of Carolinensiel, or "Caro" as the locals affectionately call it, is the old museum harbour with historic old sailing boats and flatboats and the Sielhafenmuseum, which is unique on the coast.
Tranquil small East Frisian towns such as Jever and Wittmund are easy to reach by car or bike. The East Frisian district town of Wittmund is 13 km away and offers opportunities for shopping or strolling with its pedestrian zone. The Frisian district town of Jever, with its historic old town, well-known castle and famous brewery, is a twenty-minute drive away.
The East Frisian coast offers unspoilt villages, idyllic landscapes, a seemingly endless network of cycle paths and, of course, the uniqueness of the Wadden Sea.
Just behind the dyke is the beach with its shallow mudflats, ideal for families with children. On the beach they can watch the seagulls, listen to the waves and relax. You can also take long walks along the dike to get some fresh air. You can also take a day trip to the islands or the seal banks with the ferries or the excursion boats. The ferries to Wangerooge are easy to reach.
Our apartment is in a quiet location, but you are still very close to the centre of events. It is only a few steps to the village centre with shops, boutiques, grocery shops and bakeries (also open on Sunday mornings during the season). The harbour pharmacy is just around the corner (always reassuring, even if you don't need it).
From the holiday flat to the old harbour, a walk along the banks of the Harle is still an insider tip, but highly recommended. From the old siel harbour onwards, you are officially on the most beautiful spa promenade in East Frisia. Romantically situated restaurants, cafés, tea rooms, miniature golf, pedal boat rental and sunny benches invite you to linger. And if you want to enjoy it all from the water - then take the little paddle steamer "Concordia" which takes you almost to the beach
Or do you want to go in the other direction? Not to the beach, but to the hinterland, for example to Altfunnixsiel, which was still by the sea about 300 years ago? Then a trip on the museum barge "Marie van't Siel" is recommended. You glide through an amphibious, silent landscape, under bridges, past old farms - as if time had stood still 100 years ago

Overall not bad, just make sure to have the spa cards handed out before you pay in full, so that you don't end up with problems. Otherwise, the landlord is friendly.

Beautiful short vacation
We... my son and girlfriend were at this accommodation for the first time... we really liked it... nice location... not 50 meters from Netto... you can get everywhere easily... whether on foot or by car... what would have been nice though... would have been a second key to the apartment... since we would have liked to do some separate activities??

für diesen Fall haben wir eine Schlüsselbox mit Zahlencode, die anderen Gäste legen den Schlüssel in die Box wenn Sie getrennt etwas unternehmen. Der erste der wieder da ist entnimmt dann den Schlüssel, die später kommenden Gäste nutzen dann die Wohnungsklingel die mit einem elektrischen Türöffner gekoppelt ist.

Apartment to feel good
We felt very comfortable. There were three of us. Great equipment of the apartment, nothing was missing. Everything was done contactless and it worked wonderfully. The location is great. Supermarket directly opposite. Everything is within walking distance. Clear recommendation for this apartment.

We spent a short break there and are totally thrilled. Everything you need is there. The decor is very cozy, and you immediately feel comfortable. The location is great - everything is within walking distance.
