This splendid holiday home has 3 bedrooms to accommodate 6 people comfortably. Located in Castiglion Fiorentino, Tuscany, it is perfect for families with children and has free WiFi, a swimming pool, solarium and parasols to enjoy the sun.
Surrounded by olive trees it is the ideal place to relax enjoying the view of the medieval town of Castiglione Fiorentino. The nearby Cassero fortress at 700 m and Porta Fiorentina at 280 m are also great for a beautiful view of the surroundings.
Museo Civico Archeologico at 800 m is a must-visit for history lovers. Sea is at 162 km. General supplies and Castiglion Fiorentino town centre are at 3 km. Castiglion del Lago town centre lies 30 km away.
The veranda is spacious and relaxing with a table, benches and a sitting room nearby with a sofa and armchairs. The barbecue makes the veranda a perfect spot to dine outdoors. There is a soccer field and beach volleyball court for kids and adults to have fun. Parking is free here.

A beautiful villa with great grounds and views. If you are looking for pure tranquility then this is the place to be. In principle, it lacks nothing. A lovely swimming pool that is cleaned every day by the pool man. Ample space to play football or other sporting activities. You can even walk round the grounds via the beautiful and well-lit driveway. The villa should in principle be suitable for 6 people, but it is not. The rooms and beds are too small for that. A family with 3-4 children would still go (room with bunk bed also very small) but when more than 2 adults have to sleep, it is too small. In terms of equipment, the house is more than sufficient. Enough cutlery and trousseau for up to 10 guests. Still, something gnaws somewhere. Although the equipment level is more than adequate, some things still look a bit dated. The beds are not good, in one room too small and in the other room too hard. For us somewhat larger Dutchmen, this really comes at the expense of a good night's sleep. More attention should have been paid to this. The bathrooms look like they have been in a cheap hotel. Last but not least, the villa has no air conditioning. In our period, that was not always a problem, but if it gets really hot here, it can be uncomfortable at night because you just can't sleep because of the heat. All windows open is really necessary. Now there are screens almost everywhere for the windows, so that has been taken into account. Incidentally, all windows and doors are also equipped with bars (without looking like a prison) so you don't have to be afraid to leave the windows open. which is also very good as a base.Lago Trassimeno, Arezzo and Cortona are all 30 minutes away.I would advise the owners to do a little more on the interior, the beds and the bathrooms to save the hefty weekly price of more than 2,000

We have been able to relax enormously here! A house with a lovely large swimming pool and a beautiful view. I was afraid it would be somewhere in the middle of nowhere. But that's not true. There are several nice villages around you. Lidl for us as Dutch people is also only 31 minutes away :) We thought the communication with the landlord went great. Everything went through whatsapp. The key transfer was therefore also convenient. We had some issues with the WiFi and water during the stay. But with 1 app he was already on the doorstep to help us. That gives a nice feeling when you are unknown somewhere. The garden is huge. That was such a nice feeling. Real freedom. I was a bit concerned about a house without air conditioning in the middle of the summer. But at night it cools down enough to sleep well. And most windows have screens. We thought the mattresses were good. The kitchen has everything you need. It was dated, but we found that attractive. Plus we really lived outside. We cooked and only slept inside. Every other day a pool man came in the morning to clean the pool and keep an eye on the values. So nice that the pool has a salt water pump! Much healthier for your skin and eyes and better for your swimwear. Nice to go to Puglia for a day. We had a tour with a Dutch guide. In the village (center) is a wonderful fish shop. There we bought fresh fish for the BBQ. Tip 1: also make screens in the bathrooms. It's humid there, but we didn't dare to open the window because of the mosquitoes. Tip 2: have a new dishwashing set ready on the counter. I didn't think it was fancy that there was a dirty dishcloth and sponge. Costs the owner a euro but shows much better / fresher.

What a great holiday we had in this house and the peace and space that surrounds it! We have often booked a house with a private pool but have never been so spacious (outside). Nice is that for the terrace some artificial grass on which we played a lot of sports (tennis). Behind a lovely swimming pool, on the right a football field with a beautiful view of castigline florentina .. Although it is wonderfully quiet, the villa is not isolated .. several supermarkets within a 10-minute drive. The first days were the end of the heat wave where it was continuously around 40 degrees. Unfortunately, those nights it was no longer possible to cool it down sufficiently, so we missed air conditioning .. luckily the following days during the day 30 and it cooled sufficiently at night. Tip next to the Conad supermarket is a kind of action where you can buy a fan for less than 40 euros. Would have been nice in hindsight… but circumstances were extreme when we were there. Owner is friendly and very helpful. Not just when we were there . Unfortunately forgot something important which he sent back. In short: recommended.

Very uncomplicated contact to the landlord who speaks good English. The house is very well furnished and for a family of four perfect for six adults it would be too small. The garden is lovely, the views great and the pool wonderful. And also Castiglion Fiorentino is charming!
