Arrival was very good. Were well welcomed with a bottle of wine and he told a lot about the area. Do not e-mail but call about the arrival time. He does not use mail. Unfortunately, the ceiling had not been cleaned for at least a year and was choked with spiders and spider nests. The floor was also not clean. There was no vacuum cleaner !!! We bought these ourselves after a few days and the children were happier. They no longer wanted to sleep in the house because vermin ran everywhere in the bedrooms, even in the bed. The area is beautiful. Handy, there was all kinds of information from the other guests about the area in a drawer. Unfortunately we only saw that on the last day. There was a covered outside seating area. This was perfect (was of course very hot). Pool 12 by 6 was also perfect. A bit cold, which I like.

The arrival is exciting because the road is bad and steep. That's why it's a tour to come up. The accommodation is neat and tidy, but the contents are not adequate. There are no good chairs outside to sit on for an entire evening and the table is too low to eat. In the room there is a robust table with chairs, but the chairs do not fit with the table, so when you sit on the chair you no longer fit under the table. The kitchen is large but there too little work space at the right height. Pans are too few or too small to cook in, The bedrooms are good, beds sleep reasonably to well. Plumbing is also good only in 1 shower the curtain was much too short making everything wet.

Reception was fine. We arrived at 10 o'clock in the evening and Mr was present and showed us the house.There was water in the fridge for which we were very grateful.The cottage is located between the woods and on a mountain so it never too hot It was a shame that the pool is also between the woods and the water was freezing cold.

Borgo Migliorini is nothing short of a magical place. An hidden gem tucked away in the beatiful Abetone mountain, it provided a marvellous frame for our wedding which we hosted here in mid-June. Blessed by fabulous weather, our guests raved about their stay in this cabin and were just mesmerized by the beauty of it all. The cabins are built with ex-novo materials salvaged by the hamlet's owner, who descends from a long line of illustrious artists and put his very soul in the restoration of this hamlet by scattering pieces made by his ancestors over the centuries. If you are not too fussy about things being polished, are a nature lover and rustic is your style, look no further. Great value for money.

Facing mountain with very challenging path. Dark house with outdated decor hardly a villa feel. Take a half hour before you're vd berg, the distances to beach towns like Firenze and Pisa seem small, but it is far. If you only want to be in the mountains for biking example is the location perfect.

Nice authentic Italian house with lots of space beautifully situated high in the Apennines. While it was in the valley 35-40 degrees celcius, the excess was always 10 degrees cooler. For those attached to Wifi, radio, television and entertainment not suitable. Who quiet and cool looking and is always prepared on the mountain and ride down a lot. Nice landlord. Pet friendly.
