Very comfortable house with plenty of rooms for our company of 11 people (6 adults and 5 children, 5 bathrooms for this amount is very convenient.) Living room furnished with ample seating. Bedrooms are well stocked with bed linen. For food, both indoors and outdoors, a long table with a large number of chairs, great too. Kitchen in relation to the number of rooms and guests, modest of furnishings.Good swimming pool (cleaned every morning), although in October some cold. The house is located with 360 ° view, fantastic! Possibilities for walking directly from the house. House is reasonably well located for visiting interesting cities such as Bologna, Parma, Modena.The house owner was nice and helpful, problems with wifi and the heating was rectified immediately.

The area is stunning and restful, the owner went out of his way to be helpful and was a delight to get to know. The property itself was lovely however the kitchen facilities are not suitable for large groups and needs to be equipped better. While we were there it was 37c and 26c at night which was unbearable as there is no air-conditioning, although fans were provided ( mosquito spray required). The bedrooms were spacious and clean with plenty of storage to hang your clothing. Outside the property, the eating area is constantly shaded and was an excellent family area which was used well into the night. The pool was great, not too cold and the children played for many hours however the pool is all one depth, which was not a problem for us. There are fig trees, blackberries and a herb garden which was regularly used when cooking. The restaurant in Tabioano Castello was lovely and the food was good, ( leave the house wine though pay a couple of extra euros) and was not overly priced. There is also a restaurant that does pizza 5-6 km in the other direction which does very good pizza at very good prices.
