Enjoy undisturbed holidays in our comfortable holiday home with large, enclosed garden!
You are guests in a wooden house built in the middle of the last century. All rooms are panelled with real wood and radiate real cosiness. We have carried out the numerous renovation measures "in secret", so to speak, in order to preserve the ambience of the house. For example, the house is automatically heated by a computer-controlled pellet system, so pleasant room temperatures are always ensured.
Up to seven people can sleep comfortably in the three bedrooms, and two lounges are available for cosy meals, social gatherings or watching TV.
In summer, our guests love to sit on the corner bench in the covered and sheltered outdoor seating area and enjoy the magnificent view of the Bavarian Alps. In the evening it is especially romantic here. Also very pleasant: the terrace can be closed with a gate, so that the dogs stay in close proximity.
If you feel like cooking yourself, the kitchen has everything you need: Electric cooker with 4 plates and oven, microwave, coffee maker, pots, dishes, etc. Our guests especially like to use the charcoal grill in the garden. You don't need to worry about washing up, the dishwasher will do it for you.
Garden loungers are available for relaxing in the garden, either on the sunny grass terrace in front of the house or in the pleasant shade under the old trees. If you feel like some exercise in between, you can play a round of table tennis behind the house. But there is also something for the eye: numerous roses and summer perennials are in bloom in the area of the lawn terrace.
Dogs are welcome in our house, no matter how many you want to bring or how big your pets are. The current record is seven dogs - you are welcome to beat it!
Our fence resists most escape attempts, so your dogs can move freely in the garden.
You can park directly at the house in the driveway area.

The holiday home is located in the romantic holiday resort of Fischbachau in the district of Birkenstein
You can start many beautiful walks and hikes directly from the house: A few minutes' walk away, for example, you will find the Birkenstein pilgrimage chapel, a Loretto chapel in the most magnificent rococo style.
Or you can start a tour on the Wendelstein and enjoy the view of the Alps. For ambitious hikers, the Spitzingsee area also offers attractive destinations: e.g. mountain hikes on the Miesing or the Rotwand.
For those who want to take it easy but still enjoy the view, there is also a more comfortable option: a gondola leads up to the summit of the Wendelstein from the Bayerischzell side, and from the Inntal you can start a romantic ride on the cogwheel railway up the Wendelstein.
If you just want to take a leisurely walk, you can, for example, drive to the nearby Leitzach and enjoy the landscape there on the well-developed hiking trails.
In summer, the warm outdoor pool in Fischbachau is popular with guests. In pleasant water temperatures, you can enjoy the mountain panorama or have fun on the large water slide.
In winter, the nearby Spitzingsee and Sudelfeld ski areas and many kilometres of groomed cross-country ski trails offer ideal winter sports opportunities.
Baker, butcher, village shop and supermarket are partly directly in the village or reachable in a few minutes by car.
We would also like to especially recommend the many original Bavarian inns in the area, where the food really tastes excellent!

From Fischbachau you can set off on many entertaining and interesting day trips.
The Markus Wasmeier Farm Museum is just a few minutes away and offers very interesting insights into life on a farm in times gone by
Nearby Schliersee is also worth a trip: in summer for swimming and boating, at any time of year for walks along the shore or to stop off at one of the cosy inns.
And of course the area has plenty of Bavarian customs to offer, e.g. stand-up concerts, herb walks, traditional costume processions and much more.
In about 1 hour you can be at Lake Chiemsee, for example, where you can take an entertaining steamboat trip and visit Herrenchiemsee Castle.
Munich with its numerous sights can also be reached in about 1 hour, as can Salzburg or Kufstein.

Super cool accommodation
We were at the holiday home Angela for a week in early December with our two Old German Shepherds. It was super nice. The location is great and it is very quiet.
We recovered very well and will definitely come back.

Cozy, quaint holiday cottage in beautiful landscape.
I have always dreamed of visiting Machu Picchu, located in the Andes Mountains of Peru. The Inca ruins and stunning landscape seem like a world apart, offering a glimpse into the history and culture of ancient civilizations. The thought of hiking through the rugged terrain and exploring the mysterious citadel fills me with excitement. One day, I hope to experience the magic of Machu Picchu in person.

Our holiday with you was wonderful

it was a wonderful holiday with our 4 Yorkis, we had been looking for this for a very long time, where our little ones could finally romp freely and carefree in the garden.

Very nice, cosy holiday home
The house is not only ideal for dog owners. Great garden, nice rooms, everything you need there and a super nice view of the mountains. Very friendly, accommodating landlady. We felt very comfortable and will be back next year!

Summer vacation like it used to be
Relaxation in the summer holiday. That's how it must have been before the hustle and bustle entered our lives. A beautiful cottage with a retro touch, a great fenced garden for the four-legged ones to romp around in. Wonderful view of the mountains from the veranda. It's a shame I can't stay there forever.

Haus Angela was built at the end of the 1940s as a privately used holiday home and has been in the family since 1978 In 2009, the next generation took over the house and opened it for holiday guests. As we are enthusiastic dog owners ourselves, we quickly came up with the idea of making the house available to other dog owners as a holiday home. An idea that has since found much approval. In 2018, we invested in a new fence: the property is now continuously fenced in at a height of 1.20 m to the ground. The dogs are happy!
