Villa park Bourg Est - Vigilière is a place where you'll be able to fully unwind. The small-scale park with luxurious holiday villas (some with private swimming pool), WiFi and Dutch administrators is located in a beautiful rural area at the edge of the the town of Led Forges. The park consists of 2 parts: Bourg Est and Vigilière, almost connected and both for a large part with a beautiful view of the golf course "Golf des Forges".
Directly bordering on the holiday park is the well-known 27-holes "Golf des Forges" golf course, managed by Blue Green. Especially during spring and autumn, this is an important reason for many people to come to this park. You can walk to the golf course, hit a ball and afterwards have a bite to eat or something to drink on the clubhouse terrace.

Between the famous regions of the "Dordogne" and the "Vendee" you'll find the Poitou-Charentes, on the Atlantic coast. The Poitou-Charentes is very attractive to spend your holiday for a number of reasons. It's the sunniest place in Western France, with the most sun hours per year and an average temperature of 26 degrees. A wonderful stable climate.
The area has everything the ideal image of France requires: a beautiful landscape, picturesque villages, nice terraces, a relaxed atmosphere and last but not least an excellent local cuisine.

The Poitou-Charentes is known for its large variety in tourist activities and animation possibilities. Around the park you'll find nice villages in the rolling landscape; each village with its own character. It you drive a little further, you'll reach the coast with La Rochelle en Ile de Ré. The vast marches of Marais Poitevin are very popular with their leafy creeks.

Larger towns like Parthenay and certainly Poitiers and Niort are certainly worth a day trip. Experience the atmosphere of a French city, the many restaurants and outdoor cafes, the boutiques, the cultural events and historical place, the vibrant nightlife.

Two absolute winners in this area are Futuroscope and Puy du Fou. Futuroscope is an amusement park near Poitiers with themes concerning multimedia, cinema and futuristic audio-visual techniques.. There are several shows that you can take part in. Puy du Fou is one of France's most popular amusement parks and even one of Europe's most popular. There are several large shows with knights, vikings, a gladiator arena, a Medieval city, a fortress. For the children there's a playing castle, jumping water jets and much more.
