Beautiful house, easy to heat. You must have a car. Bring your own dishwasher tablets and garbage bags. You need to bring your own washing machine. It is wonderfully quiet here. The TV is okay. Make sure to use the correct order. First turn on the TV, then select HDMI 2 and turn on the satellite receiver, and wait a moment. It is nice to be here. At night it is nicely dark. The dog can play in the garden, it is well enclosed.

This place was a beautiful discovery! The interior is modern and cozy, and we enjoyed the spacious bathroom. We also liked exploring the nearby attractions like the Boulogne-sur-Mer museum and the beautiful gardens of Conteval Castle. Definitely worth the trip!

We rented both houses with 4 people and 2 dogs - and spent a very relaxing time (end of Sept-beginning of Oct 2023).
Both are very well equipped, you didn't have to take anything with you.
Julien was a very attentive and friendly host from start to finish.

We were received very warmly by Julien Duwat. The accommodation is furnished in an extremely comfortable manner. When it became a little colder one evening, the electric heating functioned fantastic.

We spent a week at St. Godeleine and absolutely loved it. The house is very comfortable, clean and freshly renovated. It has a nice terrace with an apple tree and a great garden, Which was perfect for our dogs. The proprietor is very friendly and Supplied us with lots of great tips of what to do in the area. We loved the beautiful landscape of the "Terre des 2 Caps", love especially the view from Cap Griz-Nez. The beach at Wissant is perfect for walking and just 15 minutes by car. In the nearby towns - E. G. Marquise Wimereux or - there are farmer's markets where you can buy the delicious food of the area. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

We are on our arrival very friendly and attentive of Mr. Duwat had been received. There were different drinks and two small tarts as welcome. Duwat was very attentive and concerned about our welfare. The house is very clean and modern furnished, so that with us no wishes remained open. We and our dog felt very comfortable. The completely fenced garden made it possible for Sam to be in the house and garden all day. We also enjoyed the terrace with apple tree and the garden very. The coast is worth seeing and the landscape and villages of the area invite to excursions. We will definitely be back at Hr. Duwat holiday.

The remote control for the is a disaster. The water in the kitchen could be warmer for washing dishes in between. Heating is okay. Bed is a bit narrow for two people. Furthermore, you can sit outside under a large apple tree.

It was a fabulous stay at this gorgeous property! We were sad to be leaving as it almost started to feel like home. Our host gave us a wonderful welcome, and we appreciated all the amenities, how clean and sparkly the whole house is, the maintenance, the small details, and excellent garden and outdoor facilities! The kitchen, dining, and living room area is spacious, bright and large glass doors open onto the garden terrace. The master bedroom looks onto a quiet end of the garden which makes for a stunning way to wake up. The large, modern bathroom is excellent, there is a second WC, a laundry, children"s room, the whole house is well lit, and all windows are equipped with electric roller shutters. We shall miss sitting beneath the old apple tree in the evenings and enjoying the serenity of this beautiful property which is surrounded by large, old trees. and blind, was safe to wander around and have little adventures. The whole property is thoughtfully fenced off so that dogs can run freely in the back garden. The surrounding countryside made for beautiful walks through corn and wheat fields, small forests, and visits to local bakeries, cheese makers, castles, and the historic Opal Coast with its stunning beaches. We hope to return one day in the future, it was a superb week in a very charming place with a great host!

We stayed in this beautiful accommodation for a week in March. We were very kindly received by Julien, who has a good command of the English language. The house is fully equipped. Although the bath was a bit too small for my partner, he still used it several times. We have cooked and eaten "home" every day. In the evening we watched a DVD once in a while, which were present in the house, because the TV could only receive French-language channels. . The place is a good base for the coastal areas. We have explored a different stretch of the coast every day, walking, running or photographing. Unfortunately the sun let us down a bit, but that didn't spoil the fun. In August we spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful gîte. It is very spacious and well furnished. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the owner with tartlets, orange juice and a wealth of information and brochures about restaurants, attractions, the environment .... Our dog immediately felt comfortable in the large garden and took it for himself. The mattresses are excellent (which is not always the case in France), so we slept wonderfully. Unfortunately, the weather did not always play, but when the sun was shining, we enjoyed them in the sun loungers in the garden. Monsieur Julien is a very friendly and helpful host who always has time for a chat and is there to help and advise immediately if there is a problem or a question. So we had a lot of fun! Since it is impossible to find out the good ones with the large number of restaurants in the region, we have taken his tips, no matter in which place, and always ate very well. On the coast some 15 minutes drive away is is a nice place Wimereux we have been several times. The enclosed garden is perfect if you take your dog(s) and in tj summer very cooling to sit in due to shade from all the surrounding trees. The gîte is well centered for numerous trips of touristy things, despite castles, forests and/or beaches. Nothing is more than an hour away. Julien is the perfect host. Upon arrival he came and spent time with us explaining what we can do in the area and he even emailed all the information we wanted for beaches and forests to walk our dog. The restaurant around the corner is great for a nice home cooked meal, and not expensive at all! The friendly waitress was very busy, but we were never kept waiting. The weather during our stay was lousy, but the gîte was never uncomfortable. We even used the Weber BBQ which was at our disposal, even though it was (slightly) raining!

Homeowner Julien Duwat asked us before departure via e-mail what time we expected to arrive. He also gave some instructions to find Londefort well. In August we spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful gîte. It is very spacious and well furnished. Our dog immediately felt comfortable in the large garden and took it for himself. The mattresses are excellent (which is not always the case in France), so we slept wonderfully. It was a fabulous stay at this gorgeous property! We were sad to be leaving as it almost started to feel like home. Our host gave us a wonderful welcome, and we appreciated all the amenities, how clean and sparkly the whole house is, the maintenance, the small details, and excellent garden and outdoor facilities! The kitchen, dining, and living room area is spacious, bright and large glass doors open onto the garden terrace. The master bedroom looks onto a quiet end of the garden which makes for a stunning way to wake up. The large, modern bathroom is excellent, there is a second WC, a laundry, children"s room, the whole house is well lit, and all windows are equipped with electric roller shutters. We shall miss sitting beneath the old apple tree in the evenings and enjoying the serenity of this beautiful property which is surrounded by large, old trees. and blind, was safe to wander around and have little adventures. The whole property is thoughtfully fenced off so that dogs can run freely in the back garden. The surrounding countryside made for beautiful walks through corn and wheat fields, small forests, and visits to local bakeries, cheese makers, castles, and the historic Opal Coast with its stunning beaches. We hope to return one day in the future, it was a superb week in a very charming place with a great host!
