We rented both houses with 4 people and 2 dogs - and spent a very relaxing time (end of Sept-beginning of Oct 2023).
Both are very well equipped, you didn't have to take anything with you.
Julien was a very attentive and friendly host from start to finish.

We are very kindly received by the owner. He speaks good English which for us just a little bit easier than French. We got a delicious cake at the local bakery from kwam.De accommodation is spacious and clean and the garden was completely fenced in for our dog.The is a quiet apartment. In the immediate vicinity is little to do. Shops are 10 km away from the apartment, so a car is very useful, especially when it rains.

Very warmly welcomed by the owner Julien, there was a bottle of fruit juice, a loaf and a cheese from the local cheese farm waiting for us. Got useful tips about what to do in the area. Before our departure from Belgium we were emailed a detailed route description and that was very useful, we were too early for our destination but that was not a problem. Very quiet location. It was still too fresh to be able to enjoy the garden. The opal coast is just a stone's throw away, many hiking opportunities and all kinds of restaurants. Highly recommended!

We stayed in this beautiful accommodation for a week in March. We were very kindly received by Julien, who has a good command of the English language. The house is fully equipped. Although the bath was a bit too small for my partner, he still used it several times. We have cooked and eaten "home" every day. In the evening we watched a DVD once in a while, which were present in the house, because the TV could only receive French-language channels. . The place is a good base for the coastal areas. We have explored a different stretch of the coast every day, walking, running or photographing. Unfortunately the sun let us down a bit, but that didn't spoil the fun. Julien stopped by before we left, and took all the time to listen to our stories. He is working on another apartment closer to the coast, which will be ready this year. We enjoyed it. In August we spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful gîte. It is very spacious and well furnished. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the owner with tartlets, orange juice and a wealth of information and brochures about restaurants, attractions, the environment .... Our dog immediately felt comfortable in the large garden and took it for himself. The mattresses are excellent (which is not always the case in France), so we slept wonderfully. Unfortunately, the weather did not always play, but when the sun was shining, we enjoyed them in the sun loungers in the garden. Monsieur Julien is a very friendly and helpful host who always has time for a chat and is there to help and advise immediately if there is a problem or a question. So we had a lot of fun! Since it is impossible to find out the good ones with the large number of restaurants in the region, we have taken his tips, no matter in which place, and always ate very well. We enjoyed it so much that we will definitely be planning a vacation in Wierre-Effroy again. Until then - au revcoir! Good bye!

We are on our arrival very friendly and attentive of Mr. Duwat had been received. There were different drinks and two small tarts as welcome. Duwat was very attentive and concerned about our welfare. The house is very clean and modern furnished, so that with us no wishes remained open. We and our dog felt very comfortable. The completely fenced garden made it possible for Sam to be in the house and garden all day. We also enjoyed the terrace with apple tree and the garden very. The coast is worth seeing and the landscape and villages of the area invite to excursions. We will definitely be back at Hr. Duwat holiday.

Homeowner Julien Duwat asked us before departure via e-mail what time we expected to arrive. He also gave some instructions to find Londefort well. In the end we were still an hour early because the journey went very smoothly. But Mr. Duwat was present, we were welcome. Reception was warmest. The house was nice, lovely and quiet location. The house has a large lawn and is completely fenced. Really safe for a dog. Of course also safe for children, but for them there is little entertainment in the immediate vicinity, then you have to do something. It is a hilly area, which makes cycling spicy. The sea has great appeal. Nice places by the sea are quickly accessible.

Wierre Effroy and villages in the area is nothing to do but therefore perfectly suited to unwind. You look over the beautiful landscape with cornfields and everything is as sweet. On the coast some 15 minutes drive away is is a nice place Wimereux we have been several times. There warenook terraces on the boulevard. the other coastal towns had little or no terrassen.De beautiful opal coast is a must (s Cap Griz Nez Blanc Nez ENCAP)

At the end of April, beginning of May 2019, we spent two wonderful weeks in the accommodation. The reception by the host Julien Duwat was very friendly. Cakes, juice, water and a lot of information were available for us guests. The condominium is very nice and with much flair of an old country house. The house is cozy and well equipped. The terrace and the fully fenced garden are lovely in good weather. Especially for dog owners, the house is ideal.

It was a fabulous stay at this gorgeous property! We were sad to be leaving as it almost started to feel like home. Our host gave us a wonderful welcome, and we appreciated all the amenities, how clean and sparkly the whole house is, the maintenance, the small details, and excellent garden and outdoor facilities! The kitchen, dining, and living room area is spacious, bright and large glass doors open onto the garden terrace. The master bedroom looks onto a quiet end of the garden which makes for a stunning way to wake up. The large, modern bathroom is excellent, there is a second WC, a laundry, children"s room, the whole house is well lit, and all windows are equipped with electric roller shutters. We shall miss sitting beneath the old apple tree in the evenings and enjoying the serenity of this beautiful property which is surrounded by large, old trees. and blind, was safe to wander around and have little adventures. The whole property is thoughtfully fenced off so that dogs can run freely in the back garden. The surrounding countryside made for beautiful walks through corn and wheat fields, small forests, and visits to local bakeries, cheese makers, castles, and the historic Opal Coast with its stunning beaches. We hope to return one day in the future, it was a superb week in a very charming place with a great host!

We spent a week at St. Godeleine and absolutely loved it. The house is very comfortable, clean and freshly renovated. It has a nice terrace with an apple tree and a great garden, Which was perfect for our dogs. The proprietor is very friendly and Supplied us with lots of great tips of what to do in the area. We loved the beautiful landscape of the "Terre des 2 Caps", love especially the view from Cap Griz-Nez. The beach at Wissant is perfect for walking and just 15 minutes by car. In the nearby towns - E. G. Marquise Wimereux or - there are farmer's markets where you can buy the delicious food of the area. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
