This cottage offers a peaceful retreat with easy access to various attractions in the area. The hosts were very welcoming, and the house was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the spacious living room and the cozy fireplace.

Clean and tidy, it had everything needed. The fireplace was a nice touch for cold nights. Just a warning though, the stairs to the third bedroom are quite steep, so be careful if you bring small children.

Perfect for families! We brought our kids and they loved the bunk beds. The nearby zoo was also a hit. Additionally, the hosts were so kind and helpful, they made us feel at home. I would definitely come back!

What a gem! The authentic interior design with its beam ceilings and stone walls really added charm. We spent our evenings by the fireplace, and the views of the fields from the terrace were beautiful. Would definitely come back for another relaxing holiday.

We enjoyed our time here, especially the private garden. It was great to have a space to relax outdoors. The only downside was the steep stairs to the upstairs, which can be difficult for some. All in all, a lovely place to stay!

It is really quiet and really dark in the evening. No traffic and no traffic lights. 1 with nature. Delicious. House is located in the outskirts of the village. Village itself includes a church 2 houses. The house is clean. It is a cozy cottage equipped with all comforts including a new bathroom.The landlords (only speak French) are nice people who took care of us and showed us the way.After that they leave themselves to report again on the day of departure.

The house for 5 people is located in a very rural area. Shops, restaurants etc. are present at 7 bowl. distance in Villedieu and Gavray. From the house you are quickly in northern Brittany (Mont St. Michel, St. Malo) and the like, while the interesting landing beaches of Normandy on up to an hour away. Granville with nice harbor and neighboring beaches half an hour away. The house has a fully enclosed garden (ideal if you have dogs), cows look at you dreamily from a neighboring property. It is a very quiet location. We had the left house with four doors / windows, the building to the right of it was not rented. The (very nice) owner sometimes came in for a moment but fully respected our privacy. A bottle of cider was waiting for us on arrival. In short, for peace seekers a paradise. It was very hot but the trees ahead and the parasol provided sufficient shelter.

The clear route took us directly to the rustic cottage where we were met by the key keeper. After a tour through the cozy house we got the key. First a nice bowl in the spacious front garden with stunning views over the rolling cow pastures. The house looks like at least a hundred years old but is equipped with all comforts. Here we can enjoy a well deserved holiday rest. But our two teenagers and our dog also want some action. For that you have to drive a bit first. There are all kinds of things to experience within 30 minutes to 1 hour. The D-day beaches and St Mont Michel are the main attractions. Granville is also a great destination for a day out.

Great location! Near Mont St Michel and beautiful beaches. The cottage itself was cozy and had a nice traditional flair. Some furniture was a bit outdated, but that added charm. Overall, a lovely stay.

This house is in a historic farmhouse and the old fireplace, walls and stairs are still present in the house. The kitchen and bathroom have been modernized. Bathroom is neat, but the bedrooms are on the upper floors and the bathroom on the ground floor. There is no dishwasher, but there is a large fridge and freezer.

The owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The location is beautiful in the middle of the Normandy countryside within walking distance of the hamlet of Montaigu-les-Bois. Villedieu and Gavrey are approximately a 10-minute drive away, both with a weekly market and a wide range of shops. Beautiful and quiet walking area, the coast with beautiful salt marshes, mud flats and dunes is 25 km away.
