Good enough for 12 people, this 5-bedroom holiday home in Blanquefort-sur-Briolance is located in peaceful surroundings with forested hill views. There is a private swimming pool, where you can enjoy swimming a few laps on a hot summer day. Both families and groups of friends can stay here.
The area around your house is hilly and heavily forested, so it is ideal for beautiful walks or bike rides directly from the home (six bikes available, one of which is a children's bike). You can also endure a good culinary experience here. The area is known for walnuts, truffles and of course foie gras. There is also a lot to experience for culture lovers. What do you think of the imposing Château de Bonaguil (14 km) or the beautiful bastide town of Monpazier (13 km)? Here you will find a beautiful square with arcades. In Belvès (23 km) you will find underground dungeons under the market hall, which most likely served as cave dwellings. Monflanquin (33 km) is also definitely worth a visit. For children there is a nice water park in Le Bugue (41 km).
Literally follow in Napoleon's footsteps at his former mansion in Blanquefort-sur-Briolance (8 km by car, 4 km as the crow flies). From this house you have a magnificent view over the wooded hills. You can really relax at your own pool with sun terrace. You will also find a stone grill there. The house has a fireplace (including wood), a large room equipped with fitness equipment, as well as a washing machine and freezer.

Spacious and large house with a large garden and beautiful pool. Unfortunately had a lot of rain. Kitchenware plentiful and a great big table for 15 people.

Full of expectation we arrived at our cottage. The owner's welcome was TOP! Fresh flowers on the table, two bottles of wine: one red and one rosé (for the ladies). The cabin itself was just like in the description. Very quiet, surrounded by forests, beautiful pool, lovely garden im in to vertoeven.Doordat it is somewhat remote, you have to the keep in mind to drive 45 minutes to visit something: Sarlat, Monpazier: highly recommended. Canoeing on the Dordogne: do!

When we arrived at the house during the dark, the key was already in the front door and the fireplace was preheated a little. A short time later the landlord came over personally and explained everything to us - a very nice and hospitable person! We immediately felt welcome. A little cross-country run with him the following day finally broke the ice. The property is quietly situated on a hill in the middle of the forest and corresponds exactly to the description on the Internet. Overall, the house is in very good condition and well equipped. There is even a fitness area and a couple of great bikes to explore the hilly area. The area is sparsely populated and is rich in forests and old châteaus. A nice area to relax. However, you should take good care of yourself, as the nearest supermarket is a few kilometers away; a day trip to one of the closest cities, Bordeaux and Toulouse (each approx. 2.5 hours) or the Regional Nature Park Causses du Quercy (approx. 1.5 hours) also highly recommended. We had a good time in this place and would love to come back.Merci beaucoup et à bientôt! ;)

We stayed there with 8 adults and two children from the 4th till the 18th of August 2018 and were pleasantly surprised that everything turned out to be as beautiful as promised. We were less happy with the Wi-Fi that there was, according to the owner, but unfortunately did not work. The people who slept on top of the bedrooms could hardly sleep at night from the heat when the temperature during the day exceeded 28 degrees, which was the case every day. Fans did bring relief. I slept with my husband in the bedroom in the basement and it was wonderfully cool. Daughtery even moved her mattress to the basement where 10 people could easily sleep and also slept wonderfully. The pool is great. The owner comes several times per work to check the chlorine and the PH and when we called once to say that the water became cloudy, he immediately came up to tackle the problem. Crockery is well stocked and the dishwashers (yes 2!) And the washing machine work fine. There is a small drying rack available but large bath towels hang just as easily over the volleyball net. Sun loungers are delightful and seem new. We took table tennis bats and balls and a volleyball ourselves, but we were also there to be present. In the gym you can have fun. We were less happy with the loose tiles of the pool edge, there were only a few fixed, but if you did not walk on it you saw nothing and small children could not hurt because they were too big voor.Minder glad we were with the penetrating charcoal air that we smoke in the afternoon, the house is close to a woodstokerij.Verder the house is pretty remote, to the supermarket with the car is on the winding roads about fifteen minutes with the car. You do not just pick up a few sandwiches by bike. The nearest bakery was not in the village of Blanquefort-sur-Briolance, but in Sauvererre la Lemanche. There are also 6 bicycles in the storage room, all

Too crazy place if you really like peace. Lovely outdoor life by the pool and until the last hours under the cover. Manager is a super nice man and very helpful. Highly recommended!

We particularly appreciated the exterior of the house, in particular the pool area with the summer kitchen, the pergola housing the large table, the lawn. Everything was nicely laid out and well thought out, and the space was closed and secure, which was a real plus, for us who had dogs and small children. also a bonus. We however regretted that the four bedrooms were set up in the attic, with just small skylights at ground level, without real windows, which made them a little dark and cramped rooms, not to mention the loft. "Total lack of soundproofing. Nothing surprising either, since it is an old house. The rustic furnishings were not too much to our liking, but these are details. On the other hand, we would have liked to have had answers to the questions we asked the owners before our stay, by email and by phone. The garden is fenced but there is no gate, so it was boring for us, given the configuration of the family with children and animals. Last remark: the photos on the site give an effect of size for the rooms, which does not quite correspond to reality, that being said, we had a very good stay in a rustic and tranquil setting and we appreciate that the owners accepted our dogs.

Very nice welcome, owner listens and helpful as his wife.Great place.Beautiful house. On the downside ... the road ... everything is very far, not easy access. But we forget quickly when we can enjoy the calm that the place offers us.

What we really enjoyed. Upon arrival the key was hanging in the door. After we had installed ourselves, the owner came. A very friendly man. After explaining everything, he offered to run with us the next morning and so to say. He has taken us on a beautiful route through the woods and told us about the history of the area. The rest of the week we especially enjoyed the swimming pool and can enjoy walking sports in the gym. And after a lovely day at the pool we were sitting in the evening warm by the large fireplace. We had two dogs with us. Also for them it was great. All space for them! To be repeated.

Warm reception by the manager, everything neat. It's a bit remote but the presence of the gym and swimming pool makes it very good. Environment is beautiful, lots of wildlife. Unfortunately, so much has been closed in September, especially difficult to find in the proximity

We have been to this holiday home for the 7th or 8th time! For us, it is now feeling a bit like "our" house. The house is cozy and functional with plenty of space. The space around the house is amazing with of course that lovely swimming pool, the gym, in short the whole.

The garden is completely fenced off. We have 2 large dogs and they can't get out. The house is nice but cold. Dated but bed and couches are good. There was good hot water on arrival. Not anymore hopefully it will be fixed. Owner is nice and does his best.

We had a great holiday. We sat in the house with two families with a total of eight children. The house was spacious enough. Also handy that there was a freezer, because the stores were quite a way away. It was also crockery and cutlery and similar plenty available. The garden is beautiful and the pool is great, though it was early May still very cold. The owner speaks only French, but is extremely friendly and helpful. Nearby is the magnificent castle Bonaguil.

This was an amazing holiday! We were lucky with the good weather of course. The house itself was impeccable, very nice and quiet, very nice owner, always ready for us. Overall, definitely the house, pool, garden, ... are a must!

What a lovely holiday. Huge, easily accommodate two families. Situated on a large piece of land, the area by the pool is completely fenced. For those with dogs a great part, because they can come loose as tasty. It borders viz. A large lawn at so you can swim without having to constantly keep an eye on. The beds were hard, but doable. The house is in a very quiet place with only one side neighbors, which incidentally you hardly see. For shopping you have to drive a little, but there are three refrigerators \/ freezers present so this should not be a problem. You can make lovely walks. We enjoyed!

We arrived early and nobody was there to welcome us. We were able to enter the house and that was beautiful. Soon the wife of the owner appeared with the linen packages. Although she only spoke French and we were not so good, the acquaintance was excellent. Later came the owner, along with his son who spoke English, to show and explain everything. It is a beautiful house in a beautiful environment. The bedroom in the basement was very spacious and cool, the bedrooms upstairs also did well but were a bit warm. Furthermore, you have to take into account that it is a noisy house. It is excellent at the pool where even an outdoor kitchen with fridge / freezer and cooker and dishwasher and a fully equipped cupboard! There is only a lot of forest in the area and not much else. Everything is at least half an hour away.

Sylvie C,
First booking by Belvilla: we are delighted! The site is clear, practical, transparent with a sense of service out of the ordinary for this kind of offer, The summary at the end of the reservation is valuable and very useful, We rented A house in the lot which corresponded exactly to the advertisement, with in addition a very nice owner and good advice, To be redone, therefore, without hesitation!

The house is typical, pleasant and very clean. It is very well equipped, especially in the kitchen for holidays with friends. The best part is obviously the (large) pool area, open kitchen where we spent most of the time. I highly recommend this house, pleasant and isolated. Mr. Lacoste, owner, is a perfect host: welcoming, discreet, helpful, and little care.

No one was there, but the key was in the lock. The friendly owner arrived a few hours later. The accommodation is superb. The immediate surroundings are beautiful, but not very suitable for walking in the woods.
