This estate has a special atmosphere, with many surprising corners and a lush garden. It seems as if time has stood still there. Ideal for holidays with family or friends!
The property is located at the top of a hill, right in the heart of the Dordogne and is closely linked to the surrounding nature. This location is perfect for nature lovers. Take lovely walks in the beautiful surroundings and enjoy the silence and tranquillity. The domain is an ideal starting point to discover the beautiful surroundings. This area is also called the capital of prehistory, because of the many prehistoric sites and the large number of rock paintings. Some of these sites are even on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Definitely worth a visit.
The estate houses 6 different houses, 4 of which are for rent. The 2 other houses belong to the managers and to the owners. The houses are attractively and characterfully furnished. Especially the extensive use of wood gives an authentic atmosphere. Enjoy this unique location by the shared swimming pool.
The domain is used for hunting on Sundays in the low season.

La Borderie has a very special ambience, with many surprising nooks and crannies and lush gardens. It is almost like stepping into another time.
The hameau is situated on top of a hill, right in the heart of the Dordogne, and is closely connected to the natural world around it. It is an ideal place for people who love peace and tranquillity.
The estate has 6 accommodations, 4 of which are to let: a country house called "La Fermette" (FR-24620-07) for 8 people with an accompanying "Maison d'Amie" for 2 people, "La Bergerie" (FR-24620-09) for 2 people and "La Chaumiere" (FR-24620-09) for 6 people. The country house also contains a sofa bed for 2 people.
The Dutch couple who manage the estate live on it year round. The owners, who are also Dutch, spend a few weeks in their own house each year.
The estate is ideal for a romantic group holiday or family holiday for 18 to 20 people. It offers plenty of space for spending time together, while also providing lots of privacy thanks to the spaces between the houses and the beautifully designed gardens. Many intimate weddings have already been celebrated here!
Domaine de La Borderie is a beautifully restored, fairy-tale hameau of 6 houses with a shared pool. Many guests return to this beloved spot year after year.
There is a fresh bread roll service in July and August.

Beautiful place with a very fine and large garden with a slide, swings and large swimming pool (shared with other guests, but often we were alone with our own family). Very friendly and welcoming reception. We were allowed to pick herbs from the herb garden, figs from the trees, blackberries, ed. Children were the turtles, goats and duck feed them and chat frankly with the very friendly (Dutch) administrators. House is peacefully located, and close (by car) a lot of sights such nice towns, Cro Magnon cave houses with drawings, sculptures ed. Medieval cave houses, castles, canoeing, hiking. Kitchen is fully equipped and offers all possibilities for cooking (oven, casserole dishes, blender, toaster, various kitchen utensils, washing machine, etc etc) extensively. Good to know with small children to the pool is a fence (largely neatly hidden using plants) with child lock so they can not fall into the pool if you lose them just out of sight. Pool has lovely lounge area, sun loungers with parasols, cushions etc. And also free wifi (useful to take a look at some), no TV (but not missed, because plenty to do.

This authentic cottage in secluded location look like as they are ever built, a few hundred years back, I think. The property is fairly remote and is accessible after a ride of about 3 km partially dirt road from the main road. The complex consists of 5 different houses, ranging in size, of which three are rented. In one house, the Dutch owner lives (not seen by the way) and attend the Dutch administrators. In another house Very hospitable people. This location is especially suited for peace-seekers who do not mind "the morning 20 minutes to drive to the nearest bakery or supermarket. Promised bread service was not! That is not bad but as you mentioned on your website.'s Atmosphere of the cottages will take you back in time. Everything is old but clean. We have entertained us fine (two adults and a child of 3 years). The pool is perfect even though there is no paddling.

The Land ࿌ k is beautifully located and very quiet. On the grounds are several residential units, but you can either search or contact but remain well for themselves. The holländ.Verwalter live there and are very friendly and helpful and speak German. The pool is great Ships and there are great chairs and umbrellas. The accommodation is very dark and is not very large. You can sit on the terrace فج rdachten, inside it is not so cozy. In a dark season I would not want to go there. Small lovely details please the guest, such as inhouse nice linens, beautiful soap dispenser. Uniform matching crockery for 6 people there is not unfortunately. You can with max. 4 adults and 2 children in the house, ideally family, otherwise it is too narrow and too small. The solitude has given us very well. The small St ํ te around it are beautiful. The house and surroundings are also great Ships for families with small children.

We started cleaning our stay. It was really dirty. Cobwebs everywhere, masses of dust on the furniture and lots of sand on the floor. Coffee machine was not cleaned. The used filter was still in it. Toilet paper should not be thrown into the toilet because of poor sewage systems. For someone like me, with Crohn's disease, that's not very hygienic (for anyone anyway). But when it comes to peace and quiet, nothing can match it. Wonderful place to relax
