Reception was friendly by the owner we felt welcome. The house itself is on the old side but everything is there to make a nice holiday, we live more outside than inside and then you still have the beautiful pool. The area where the house is located is very quiet and you have lots to visit.

There is fortunately a local grocery store and bakery at 2min. to drive.

This is not the easiest place to find-thank goodness for a few minutes spent on google street view before we went- but that is part of its charm. Really off the beaten track, one othe holiday home backing onto the site but with its own pool and the owners a field away. The pool is great u heated but sparkling and a great investment as our kids were happier there than going anywhere else. M et Mme Fombouze speak no English but are lovely, leaving wine, juice and biscuits on arrival and fruit and veg through the week. House hugely well stocked with kitchen equipment. A really peaceful place to stay.

What a beautiful retreat! The antique furniture and the stone stairs really give this house character. We spent our afternoons relaxing on the loungers in the garden and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

Everything was shipshape. Beautiful region. From its location made several nice trips (Gouffre de Padirac !, Rocamadour, Bouccle the Belpech, Sarlat !! and on the way Oradour sur Glane). Everything was in the house. With each slide we did was open there "Look, they have also 'plates and pans to matches, firelighters for BBQ, dishwasher tablets, coffee filters, ... Even a slider with all sorts of documentation uitstapjes.Het were super friendly owners after the long journey were biscuits for the children ready, there was juice and wine in the fridge. Mr every morning came to inspect the pool, on the first morning there was a bicycle adapted to our youngest daughter, the third morning there was a bucket of potatoes, cucumber and salad from his own garden. It was a fantastic vacation !! Shame it was not so 'n smash during our stay again. 3 days and cloudy 20-25 degrees, which could not really warm up the water of the delightful private swimming pool and so we are not fully able to enjoy. Yet we, together with our daughters aged 8 and 13, had a fantastic holiday !!!

It is an old farm with similar furnishings. All cupboards are full of all sorts of things, so before you want to put your own things (groceries, clothes) in the cupboards, you first have to empty some shelves. huh

Beautiful setting, nice stay. We really enjoyed a week in the Dordogne. The cottage is fully equipped. The garden is amazing as well as the swimming pool. The owner is very friendly and is watching the pool every day. We have walked wonderfully in Besse and viewed beautiful, old villages in the area. Canoeing on the Dordogne is an absolute must as well as a visit to the town of Sarlat. The last day of our stay we visited Bonaguil Castle. Also recommended. Top vacation!

The accommodation is located in a quiet area. The pool is wonderfully large and well maintained. The owner is very friendly and helps you if needed. Cottage is fine, has all amenities but is old fashioned. Great house for that price

The house and surroundings are beautiful especially if you like peace and nature. The interior is typical french and the owner comes every day to do the pool and he leaves regularly also some vegetables are from our garden. There are around genoegt nice places and markets to go to.

The owners were very friendly. The cottage was cozy but some things were renewed. Very rural location making difficult groceries but small shops in the village. This is perfect for those who go for a rest on vacation.
