your photos must be more than 3 years old...
no parasol, the bane awning doesn"t work and is ready to fall down. 2 teaspoons, 3 bowls, 4 garden chairs etc... for a rental for 6 people. First day, I cleaned for 4 hours SUPER when you pay for the service. Being allergic to dust in this house was complicated. Pool maintenance, nobody came, no net available...
Thank you for contacting me to find a solution, you want photos I have!

This house has quite overdue maintenance. It's not really clean, a bit run down. The owner is completely invisible: despite several e-mails, attempts to call and knock on his front door, we have not seen or spoken to him. He does not clean the pool, we do this ourselves provisionally with fishing nets. WiFi is not available.
The location is nice and both terraces are nicely situated. All in all, the house does not meet expectations and I would certainly not recommend it.

Very neglected house in a beautiful spot with an owner who does not want to speak to you, does not answer the telephone, does not answer voicemail and has not cleaned the house before the arrival of the guests and does not fulfill other agreements. Also no usable WiFi signal in or around the house.

Status June 2023: stating that the proximity of the river and the size and fence of the area (for our dog) are very pleasant, the house and the landlord have turned out to be a huge disappointment - absolutely not worth the sum we paid for it, not even for less. Food leftovers in the oven, toilets rancid (glasses coming loose), plates/cutlery/everything with handles sticking with dirt, kitchen linen with dirt stains, in general the very distressing state of maintenance (floor tiles terrace loose, protruding higher than the rest, wall tiles at the swimming pool have fallen off in large numbers, remnants of shards, corner tiles of the swimming pool surround are loose, deposits crooked and unsound due to age/neglect). Anyway, these are just a few things - could go on with this for a while - but the most frustrating part is that landlord Alain became completely unreachable during the stay (does not answer, does not listen to voicemail, does not read SMS) and even after him finally to have personally addressed all the defects and to have brought him in - e.g. not cleaning the swimming pool, the further filth and status, also no working WiFi indoors at all - and with a handshake, of all things, his promise "Tout de suite" things on it was enough to clean the pool and then became inaccessible again, uninterested in the well-being of his guests. Once but never again, totally discouraged. Once it seems to have been good, but the last entries in his guestbook shockingly, the Dordogne is a beautiful region, but don't garden here

Dilapidated, dirty house, broken bathtub, dirty shower, dust and cobwebs everywhere. Trash not emptied... owner who had forgotten our arrival... Above all to avoid.
Rita Ector
Very dirty house, burnt cooking pots in the cupboard, oh hygienic bathroom, no heating. We are happy that the environment is very beautiful. The only real positive, too bad

The house is large and quite good, pool fantastic. It is not good that the owner was not available for us. We were at the door at 3 p.m. and at 4 p.m. still no one to be seen. Went in myself, everything was open, I called Belvilla because the house was very dirty, there are sunstrokes by the pool, 4 of which are broken and cannot be used. On the terrace were a sofa and a chair, totally destroyed. The owner checked in at 6:30 pm, and we say it's not clean. He goes to the terrace with a vacuum cleaner and cleans it, then disappears without saying a word. Was not reachable for us after that, is also not lansgeeeest the last evening. Fortunately, we had nice weather and after our own cleaning it is great to stay in this house. So unfortunately for us from the owner and the broken stuff, we still had a great holiday.

Environment is fantastic, but on arrival it turned out that in all those years that we come there, 0.0 maintenance has been committed. The beds were still very hard, not enough sunbeds by the pool, furniture broken etc.
Luc van Laethem
Beautiful location. Cozy cottage .all available. And nice and clean pool..

Excellent reception. Very nice that we called the night before. In coal French tried to ask whether arriving earlier was a problem. The French owner did not seem to be aware of the booking?!?! So in a hurry the gite was cleaned on the day of arrival. With wet mopped floors and the heating high up, we entered a very nice spacious gite. This is fully equipped.

arrival was good we have been for the 2 times when the chairs and deck chairs were broken these were still broken pots and pans still little much noise at night environment nature is beautiful we think the house is definitely not worth five stars
Geert Geerts
Warm welcome, being able to check in an hour earlier than agreed .. super swimming pool, house otherwise also fine.
Charlotte Barbé
This holiday home is ideal for young children. The terrace and the swimming pool were completely fenced, so children could not leave. There were a lot of bird nests in the garages. We could not use the gas barbeque. This one did not work and had a dirty baking sheet. Moreover, it was also far away from the terrace.

This was the third time that we visited village. Also for the third time a house of topic travel. However, different houses. The house is super. Everything is there and comfortably furnished. The wifi worked super. Through the Wifi and our provider app we could just watch Dutch TV. All channels we are used to in the Netherlands. The range of the wifi itself was good on the terrace. Could just use the iPad. We had super weather every day sun with temperatures of 25 to 30 degrees. Unfortunately, we did not find the light button for lighting the swimming pool. But it will certainly be beautiful in the evening. Unfortunately we do not speak French, but there is a possibility to find fresh bread every morning at the door. The owner is a baker and you can order it from them. The equipment is complete in the kitchen. Maybe a good trash can. But there is a trash can present. We love coffee with pads. This is not available but we take our own. There are also two large Leclercs in the neighborhood. A fairly new one in Sarlat. There you can easily do all your shopping. There is also a lot to see in the area. Sarlat, Rocamodour. There is also a prehistoric park with a new cave. This was only opened to the public this year (2018). The dordogne is a super environment. We have had a great holiday with our dog.

Not clearly indicated where it is exactly.Forig years, we found the house back by the sign of Belvilla.Dit year niet.Rustig gelegen, small town close to the river.Great holiday, not maintained much restoration.
Theo Theelen
The house was very bad to find. The only indication is the buurtschap.Na several times ask, "coincidentally" found. The house itself is fine, but has scanty a device.Wi-Fi is limited. In the kitchen and at the bar, no further reception. The old-fashioned TV does it, without sound. No cushions on the terrace- and loungers. There are 5 sun loungers, 3 of which.BBQ is in an isolated place, namely. front door.Coffee machine broken. Is replaced after 2 days.Kitchen linen consisted of 2 dry cloth. No dishcloths and no dishwashing brush. No tea cups, but coffee mugs. No soup cups.

Fantastic location close to the river Dordogne. Nice accommodation but lack of pool heating wasn't great. Lady who greeted us only spoke French. Table tennis table was advertised but didn't exist. Beautiful surroundings and canoeing was fantastic.
rudy bellemans
our holiday was good and the owners were very friendly only sorry that they only speak french house was big enough but some work on pots and pans there were too few and worn out bed linen were no set, two other colors of pillowcases and undercoat blankets were dirty shower is sure to be renewed bath went empty while you were filling but the nature and cities were beautiful but much noise from crying dogs at night and from the neighbors next to our power outlets also on the renovation at half the do not do garden chairs replacement could even be broken
Andre Deville
house clean and tidy on arrival, somewhat older furniture but still best functional.large house and nice swimming pool, beautiful surroundings
Ab Buuren
We were warmly welcomed. It's a pity that the landlord really speaks only French. The surroundings are beautiful green and the river is almost on the doorstep. The house is beautiful but some things are dated. The pool is delicious.
Tim Cleemput
The area is undoubtedly an absolute must, in the area of the house, the swimming pool is great and large, the house itself is large, but it depends on bricolage, wall outlets, lamps, the shower inside is full of rust and only works Half the water of the bath always goes away, light switch hanging out of the wall, the garden furniture is urgently needed for replacement, chairs etc, the house was also not cleaned properly when we arrived, we have already had a couple of times Booked with topic travel and this was below the quality we just are. The people were very friendly, the village is nice and beautifully refurbished, within a radius of three quarters there is really a lot to see and do and eat.
Claudia Gerritse
Beautiful surroundings and a big house. We only had his two. The balconies are ideal. We had some bad weather but could still sit outside in the warm air through the top covered terrace. We had 1 day of sunshine and made use of the pool. Lots of privacy and all amenities.
Marlies Declerck
We were there at 14h and this was no problem at all! The pool is the biggest asset of the holiday! The cottage itself has all the basic comforts, but the beds need to be replaced and there is not much light in the house. Bakery and butcher are available in the village itself and the owner (next house) is baker and put us every morning freshly baked croissants ready! Very nice area and nature to see things and explore! Definitely worth repeating, had very nice holidays !!!
Debby Jacobs
Nice house, friendly owners! only the beds need to be replaced
Steve Roose
We had arrived a little earlier than expected but that was for the friendly proprietress no problem. The property immediately exudes serenity and created the right holiday feeling. The setting is lovely.
Sigrid De schrijver
The cottage is ideal for dogs by the walled garden. For the rest not much to criticize. It is not new of course.
Rene De Jager
We had two wonderful weeks. Though the weather was very fresh on arrival getting better. Kids enjoyed the pool. In the neighborhood, there is something to do for everyone. Dordogne is very beautiful in May
R.F. Lijffijt
A wonderful holiday had at this fine spacious cottage is fully equipped. The Dordogne River runs 80 meters from the house and the nice little village is 600 meters. Together with our dog can enjoy in peace because both the garden and the pool are completely fenced. From the large terrace you have a fantastic view. Next year we go again two weeks at this top location. We recommend a visit to the old town of Sarlat.
L.J. Casius
A wonderful holiday in a truly beautiful setting. Wonderful peace and privacy with a fantastic pool. You walk to the river and you can relax on the porch sitting "the evening. With a half hour drive you are in the city with all the major supermarkets. In the guest book, I saw that some people already eligible for the sixth time. We also booked directly for next year.

Spacious house with all amenities and private pool, securely fenced and with plenty of privacy. The house is in a nice quiet area, but the baker, butcher and a small local shop is open early in walking distance and every morning. Also, there is plenty to do and see in the immediate area. Suitable for very small children, but also with larger children or without children, you can take great vacation here.

Our holiday exceeded our wildest expectations. The environment, and so many activities and things that we did not really verwacht.Kortom, our stay was much too short to do all the fun things to see. We definitely go back again!
