Well remote, nearest village is 2 km downhill. We love this and thought it was delicious.
House is fully equipped.

This is an amazing place! The large house, the wonderful pool, all the amenities and the beautifully equipped kitchen make this a perfect vacation home. But it is the surroundings that turn this place into a true paradise: views as far as the eye can see in all directions, deer, rabbits and birds casually appearing and disappearing again. Add to this the pleasant welcome, and you know that everything is there to make it a relaxing vacation. 'Live like God in France' was invented for places like this.

Nice house, everything was there. Beds were great. Swimming pool was great. Some garden chairs are a bit worn. But all in all we had a fantastic holiday. Beautiful surroundings. Nice walk. And very beautiful villages nearby. I would definitely go canoeing sometime. Thanks Martin.

On arrival no one was present to receive us, while we had announced the arrival. The code of the door locker that holds the key was wrong. By chance we were able to enter the house through a door that had accidentally been left open in the basement. The outdoor furniture needs to be replaced. Our frail daughter fell through a wooden chair and injured herself from the wood splinters. The wooden sunbeds are also no longer in good condition. In itself beautiful house with plenty of space. Unfortunately no fans provided when we arrived in very heat. These were bought at our request (4x). For the pool you have to go round, through the front to the back, which is impractical. You then have to get your snacks and drinks there in an awkward (via stairs) way. Beautiful view and tranquility by the pool. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 umbrellas were broken. Got a new one during the week. There is a BBQ under the house, but there are no table and chairs. You then have to drag it yourself. There is no TV, because the owners think that the guests come for the peace and view. I prefer to decide that myself and I like it when there is a TV, especially when there is European Championship football. Now watched TV via laptop and hotspot. Wifi is not unlimited and mediocre (data limit and slow). Bedrooms and bathrooms good, although the socket in the master bedroom is uncovered and life threatening. This has been reported to Marten, but he has not done anything about it. Hopefully repaired after us because of small children. All in all it is a bit outdated and dated and in need of updating. At the moment the price / quality is not right.

You can enjoy the beautiful surroundings from early morning to late evening in this carefully renovated house. The view is breathtaking and in the fields around you you can spot deer, foxes and birds. The house is very comfortably furnished and you can cook, relax and enjoy to your heart's content. The pool offers cooling on hot days and because the house is secluded you can enjoy undisturbed hours in the garden. Recommended!

Just have to search before we were there. Accommodation is secluded, but the house is very beautiful, really everything is there, with wonderful swimming pool! We really enjoyed the area, undertook something every day, rented bikes, canoeed and went to beautiful villages. You really need the car for everything.

Very nice and spacious holiday home with a large swimming pool which we have also made great use of because of the very warm temperatures. A beautiful quiet area with a little further the typical French villages. We enjoyed the pleasant night markets with the tasty and not too expensive food trucks. Highly recommended.

This holiday home really had everything I hoped for. The private swimming pool was a pleasant surprise and perfect for relaxing afternoons. The garden setup with BBQ made it easy to enjoy meals outside, something I've appreciated in past stays at other rentals. Overall, it offered a good mix of comfort and accessibility in the lovely Dordogne region.

Visiting Saint-Laurent-la-Vallée for a week felt comfortable here thanks to how accessible everything was. The bedrooms were spacious enough that we never felt cramped plus having multiple bathrooms made getting ready easier than expected during our stay.

On my solo trip, I found the amenities convenient and sufficient for everyday needs. Parking was easy which is always nice when traveling alone. I liked the proximity to local dining options, it made meals enjoyable during my exploration of the area.
