9 people enjoy the stylish accommodation. Lovely view of village and surrounding area. Bakery and restaurants run-away. The Marché Gourmand is a recommendation in Belvés and the SURROUNDING villages.

We have been here in the autumn. The temperature was fortunately still good so we did not need the heater to use.The is a great house with a mightier view. We had the good sense to us. The house is less suitable for families with small children. It is quite old and therefore you should carefully handle example, the shutters and the parquet. We were 2 adults and 5 (almost adult) children. RECOMMENDED!

It is a characterful house with stunning views of the hills and the medieval village of Belvès. Really super located a short walk from the charming and peaceful village, bakery, shops, etc. There is a lovely large swimming pool with deck chairs and furniture, unfortunately without shower. The house is very spacious. We are sorry some imperfections due to inadequate structural maintenance. Certainly been a good holiday and good value for money.

Nice house if you have more families. The kitchen is on the small side. The view is beautiful. Swimming pool and outdoor area are also fine. Restaurants and bakery within walking distance. We think it is a pity that there are many tiger mosquitoes. Sitting outside in the evenings is not possible at a.

Stunning villa with outstanding views but there is not a sea view which it describes as having! Lovely bedrooms, great pool, lots of room and a great distance from the town which is only a few minutes walk away and has nice restaurants and bars. The only problem we encountered was the amount of mosquitos around the pool seating area. We were a party of 8, including 2 children, and we were all bitten so much we spent the whole week taking antihistamines and covering ourselves in mosquito spray and we couldn't sit outside after late afternoon which was disappointing The owners should treat the grass at the start of the season to kill the eggs so this isn't an issue as it did spoil our stay and would stop me from booking it again but everything else was great.

Super cool location with a truly fantastic view, on the one hand a rolling landscape, on the other hand the medieval town of Belvès. The kitchen of the house is on the small side. Tip, use the dining room as a buffet area and enjoy meals on the front terrace.

The house was very clean. However, the ordered bed linen was not provided, but that was quickly resolved. It is a pity that the owner never makes the beds herself. Is difficult if you have to do it yourself after a tiring ride. The house itself is completely outdated with creaking floors and doors. The kitchen is far too small for 10 people, there is not even a space on the counter to cut vegetables; The gas stove works very slowly. There are 2 refrigerators, so that's good. There is also a dishwasher, but it can handle very little dishes so we had to use it twice a day. There is enough food and cutlery, but no decent knife to cut vegetables and meat. The dining place is completely outdated and quite dark. Fortunately it only rained for 1 day so we could always eat outside. There are 3 WCs. Only 1 of them had a toilet roll holder. There are also 3 showers. 1 of them was more or less a rain shower that was small but gave a good jet, the 2 others gave little water. house is 50 years or older and therefore not insulated, so especially the 4 bedrooms upstairs are very warm, even though we kept all the shutters down during our stay.Fortunately, it was pleasant outside. There is a large swimming pool, not heated but at temperatures around 30 degrees that was no problem. The view of the surroundings is beautiful and we had chosen this house. Too bad that the house itself was not of the same level.

We were kindly received. The house was impressive and spacious. Sometimes passers-by even stopped and took a picture. The view of the village can be pictured on a postcard. There is of course plenty to do in the Dordogne. The plot was spacious and there was sufficient privacy. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated.

We stayed for a week in early September with 8 adults and a few small children in this beautiful house. We really enjoyed this beautiful home, view and location. View is beautiful. Close to the town but still quiet. We had good weather and we could keep the house cool for the children. The house is well equipped. We enjoyed it! You can visit many things in the area without having to drive far. You can easily eat something in the evening in the nice restaurants of the town. Lots of space to play: swimming pool, swing downstairs, garden and in the house. Everything could be closed with gate or railings. The owners themselves help maintain the house and keep an eye on it, which ensures the house is completely top notch. Every year we go to a different house, but mss we come back here! Highly recommended! Thanks!

Speaking of a prime location! A beautiful view over the hills and the town of Belves, you can't get enough! A jump in the pool, your breakfast or dinner, you couldn't have a nicer environment. The house is unique, it comes straight from a fairytale. It radiates authenticity! The 5 rooms are very spacious, the beds are new. Despite it being warm, the rooms are kept quite cool by the shutters. You are 5 minutes in the center where there are many shops. You don't need your car anymore. The welcome was warm, friendly and the house was very clean. Everything you need for an ideal holiday is available. A winner!

Arrival was good. The lady who arranged everything came pretty quickly. She wanted one immediately and the deposit paid the cleaning and local tax we had not counted on. Usually these costs at the end deducted from the refund of the borg.Fantastisch house with nice bedrooms and good bedden.Stoelen outside were not very comfortabel.Heerlijk pool, a lovely garden and a very nice uitzicht.De setting is beautiful and is Belvès a pretty town.

We are very pleased with the nice house. Spacious and well equipped with the necessary "comfort". It should be noted that we are not so very critical when it comes to details that we possibly would not like that. We believe in the whole and it was absolutely fantastic. Especially the pool was out of the art. Wonderful view from the terrace. The house is in the village, near the center with shops and restaurants. Worth repeating.

The house is beautiful and fully equipped. The kitchen and bathrooms upstairs are like new. The house is not very child friendly (lots of stairs and steps) but when they are properly monitored, it is doable! The view from the house is superb, the pool is clean and also in the area is enough to do. Belves is a beautiful town. Partly thanks to this wonderful home we have had a wonderful week.

Wonderfully large and beautiful house and location. Great view and a few minutes walk from the center. The house has a lot of charm and is large and spacious. Two new bathrooms and a new kitchen. The third bathroom is dated. The house is noisy and the floors crack. In addition, it is less child friendly because of the stairs and no fence around the pool. The pool is great but unfortunately not heated. Everything was clean and the garden is very spacious. There is plenty to do in the area. We had a fantastic time.

Particularly successful holiday. The house was nice especially since there are "divorced" opportunities were to be with a group of people (8 people) to do things you'd like. TV room, separate lounge (read quiet) and a good living for laying a kaartje.De environment is hilly and the house incl. Village is a kind of easily accessible hill plateau. Downside for a mountain hike c.q. card only through another village to village in realiseren.Restaurant madelon fine.

Nice view of Belves and surroundings. Well-maintained swimming pool with a deepest point of more than 2m. Within walking distance of village center. We have suffered from many tiger mosquitoes on site. The house was reasonably priced and is very spacious with enough bedrooms, bathrooms and toilets. Some parts of the house are very outdated (shutters, floor, furniture). The kitchen was quite small compared to. the house was well equipped with tools and herbs. Quiet neighborhood. Hospitality within walking distance.
T. van den Broek
A beautiful house with atmospheric accents and enough space for 6 adults and 2 children. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped but a bit small to cook with several people. The environment is beautiful. The pizzeria 100 meters down the street was great and there were 2 bakeries within a 5 minute drive from the house. Everything was well maintained and above all very clean.
