You will find Domaine de Bellac far from today's industrial noise and pollution. Named after an earlier chateau (castle), this country estate is surrounded by lovely green hills, forests and abundant lakes. The current Bellac was constructed on the historic foundations of the old chateau and its outbuildings. Several ruins on the property are a reminder of times past. You have a view of a valley where the Dordogne and Charente departments meet. This pristine natural area is the perfect place to catch your breath and escape from the daily grind. The 35-hectare estate contains seven luxurious cottages with a unique French character. After soaking up some sunshine, you can cool off in the attractively situated swimming pool and its covered relaxation area.
Domaine de Bellac is centrally located in an area with beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails that are sure to delight any outdoor enthusiast.

The only plus point is the total peace. The house was not really clean. Dirty plates (not washed). Cooking pots dirty in the drawers (also not properly washed). Very uncomfortable chairs on the terrace both in front and in the back, we took our own seats out of the camper. The BBQ was apparently also not left clean after the last use. The toilet is loose on the tiles. The pool that we were allowed to use is located across the street behind the owners' house, which does not encourage use and could not be used after 8 PM. The other pool by the apartments could not be used at all and was completely surrounded by sun loungers that would have been handy at the houses. No parasol on the back terrace. Terribly hot in the house, they didn't even ask if we needed a fan to make it a bit bearable, so we went and bought one ourselves. Socializing on the terrace after 10 PM was forbidden. We were the only two guests on the estate while the estate accommodates up to 32 guests. We also left a day earlier because it was really not a pleasant stay. Also, there were no brochures about sights to be found or anything like that. Actually, this was quite an expensive disappointment.

Happy holiday gehad.Genoten the peace and zwembad.De evenings enjoy under the canopy of the huis.Niet suitable for people who have difficulty with mobility i.v.m. the hilly terrein.Ga you only laag.Kan for the rest it is a real aanrader.Je is really in the middle natuur.Toen we occupancy was that when everything is busy you have less privacy.

We were warmly welcomed at this location by a French speaking lady (long live Google translate) and everything was explained in the house. The accommodation (cabriolet) was very atmospheric and provided with all the comforts. We were lucky to be the huge big domain for ourselves so to have full privacy, so we can enjoy the beavers in the lake and bird sounds from the woods. Walking enough enough a golf course around the corner and nice markets to visit. What was nice in the house was a well-kept information folder with Tips from the area. An ideal location for a top vacation.

Had wonderful holiday. Nice welcomed by the friendly owner. The kids enjoyed the pool. We of the rest in the shade under the roof of the house. Beautiful walking area.
