Location and surroundings of object
You will find Domaine de Bellac far from today's industrial noise and pollution. Named after an earlier chateau (castle), this country estate is surrounded by lovely green hills, forests and abundant lakes. The current Bellac was constructed on the historic foundations of the old chateau and its outbuildings. Several ruins on the property are a reminder of times past. You have a view of a valley where the Dordogne and Charente departments meet. This pristine natural area is the perfect place to catch your breath and escape from the daily grind. The 35-hectare estate contains seven luxurious cottages with a unique French character. After soaking up some sunshine, you can cool off in the attractively situated swimming pool and its covered relaxation area.
Domaine de Bellac is centrally located in an area with beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails that are sure to delight any outdoor enthusiast.
In the surrounding area you will find restaurants that offer affordable dining in a lovely setting. The markets, the romantic French villages and the freshwater lakes and rivers also make this region a wonderful holiday destination. There are plenty of relaxation options for visitors of all ages.
Golfers will be in their element at Golf de la Prèze, an 18-hole course located just one kilometre away that has a reputation for being quite a challenge. French, English, Dutch and German are spoken at this golf course. In the surrounding area you will find restaurants that offer affordable dining in a lovely setting.

The accommodation is very nice in a very quiet area. However, we were less pleased with the condition of the accommodation. The whole house was not clean in our view. There were still dishes in the dishwasher and the fridge was far from clean. We first cleaned these ourselves. The bathroom was also not fresh. The pool was also green. We had just looked for an accommodation with a swimming pool, but in the end did not use it because a green swimming pool is not very attractive for swimming.

Good arrival, nice and friendly welcome. Beautiful surroundings, super quiet and especially a lot of nature to enjoy. The accommodation was ok, but in our opinion missed some things that are important to us when we go on vacation.

Friendly welcome, nice house in a beautiful setting. Many things to do for children (swimming pool, trampoline, table tennis, catching fish in the pond and other games). And also important good beds!
