Very welcoming and helpful owners who also give their advice for visits in the region. The home has a magnificent view of the cité of Carcassonne, both day and "night with lighting. Although the house in a rugged hill, it's beyond that, enjoy cycling along the Canal du Midi; bikes at the house. Supermarket shopping at 5 minutes in a very modern shopping mogelijk.Mei holiday with beautiful poppies in the roadsides and in meadows, and bloeienede broom gives much color to nature.

We were very pleasantly welcomed by the owner. He gave us many tips about what we definitely had to visit in Carcassonne. The accommodation was perfectly fine and very well maintained. Everything from material was present (material in the kitchen, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer). The bathroom was cool with the walk in shower. The pool is very clean and very cool and of course the jacuzzi. The area is beautiful with a beautiful view of the castle! It is really ideal to unwind and relax, highly recommended! You can visit a lot and Carcassonne is a beautiful region!

We had a lovely time in this house. The house is spacious, luxuriously furnished. Nice pool shared with the kind verhuurders.Zwembad, living room and balconies provide views of the medieval citadel of Carcassonne. The house is an excellent base for tochtenbin the area. For cycling, you need a big hill on the center of Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi.

The beds were made and that we had not even ordered! Very friendly reception by Hugo. Told about the excursions in the area and had a booklet with maps of restaurants made were worth. The weather was not good enough for the pool but the hot tub has proven its services (free of charge) Hugo still has a thing or phasing out, but that has its own charm ... There are two rooms with double beds and a room with two twin beds (and no two rooms with twin beds), the distance to the cite is slightly larger mentioned that'm not really run. Car Ride is cheaper if you stay until 20.00 in the ghetto, because then you do the P does not have to pay (for beautiful photo "s and good food it is advisable to know what to stay later than attracts large crowd away again and become stay within the walls pleasant.) The Cathar castles in the area, the caves and locks in Beziers are recommended to go and see!

We (father, mother, daughter 3) had a wonderful week in Beauregard (May 2013). The house is beautifully situated with breathtaking views. The owner (family with young children) of the house lives in the same building, but it did not much "burden". You hear occasional live sounds, but all well within the fatsoensnormen.De owns social, speak good English and provides excellent tips.Het house is in good order, big enough, clean, modern equipment and the outdoor jacuzzi is delicious! There is more than enough to do in the area, something for everyone! Nature, culture, museums. (Tip: the dinosaur museum in Esperaza is well worth it, very nice also for children) Ask the owner for tips and ask him wherever he gets his wine :-)

Our family had a wonderful week in Beauregard. The view of Carcassonne is fantastic and every moment of the day magical! The house owner is a very nice man who speaks excellent German and English. The house is pretty centrally located for trips to Carcassonne course, but also the Montagne Noir and beach of Narbonne are recommended.

With a little bit of tender love and care, the owners could improve on staying here for your vacation. This was a one week vacation for us as a family with two small childeren. The house itself looks nice enough. Upon entering the house we were welcomed by a very stale sent and as we approached the kitchen that sent even turned a bit moldy. We bought some scents in the supermarket to cover the bad smell so at least our stay wouldn't be shrouded in a musty smell. We arrived on saturday. There were no parasols present even though the Belvilla page did mention they would be present. We asked the owner twice for them. We received a good parasol at the pool on tuesday. A very small parasol (too small) was provided vor the eating table outside, which would not provide much shade. I wasn't going to bring the matter up again so we bought our own parasol for eating at the table. The tree at the eating table outside had no leaves and thus provided no shade. Eating in the sun was hot. From the terras of the house and the pool you have a great unhindered view of the citadel, which is beautifull. The jacuzzi was also not filled when we arrived. We had to wait untill tuesday to be able to use it. The jacuzzi area lacked any kind of table/chair/loungeseat ... The barbeque is very dated and doesn't fully function, but it got the job done nonetheless. The house has no airconditioning, which we knew and is no problem in itself, so you rely on cooling the house by opening windows at night and in the morning. But the house has no fly screens so all the mosquitos get to fly in. The house does have blinds which are great for sleeping and keeping the sun out. The pool was great in itself, even if the water was very cold. A sunsleeve on top of the water in the morning could quickly heat the water. However on thursday we noticed the water of the pool started turning slightly green. On friday it was obviously worse and stepping on the bottom felt slimy. I have no idea if any products were used to keep algae at bay but i could not smell any chlorine. The owners are very nice people. They live on the lower floor of the house. You do not notice them a lot. Sometimes you can hear them on the stairs but mainly they keep sounds down. We had a fierce thunderstorm which knocked the elektricity out twice. Them living in the house too made it easy to have elektricity restored. The house is located in a vacation home neighbourhood. However once you leave that neighbourhood you drive into the outskirts of Carcassonne. Carcassonne city is no longer what it has once been. A lot of marginal and malicious people were lurking around. Visiting the citadel was no problem as those people did not appear there but they did at the other sites throughout the city. The neighbourhood obviously no longer is what it has once been.

What a fantastic week in Carcassonne, the accommodation was great but what made it even better was the hospitality of the hosts.....fresh tomatoes from their garden and the best tips of what to see and when, they even booked a table for us at a fab restaurant that we would never have found without their local knowledge.

House has spacious rooms and has everything in terms of facilities for cooking (bbq, stone grill, waffle maker, blender, ...) for those who want it. The owners are very friendly and helpful to provide info about sights and shopping. We had bikes and could in the garage places. The car could be placed on the enclosed courtyard. Pool was not warm enough, but the whirlpool was a good alternative. House is located in a very quiet cul de sac.

Highly-recommended: - Cite (castle town) of Carcassonne - Cathar - Abbey Frontfoide-Pyrenees for day trips, unfortunately a little too far away

What a fantastic week in Carcassonne, the accommodation was great but what made it even better was the hospitality of the hosts.....fresh tomatoes from their garden and the best tips of what to see and when, they even booked a table for us at a fab restaurant that we would never have found without their local knowledge.

Very comfortable house with nice views of the citadel of Carcassonne. The house is in a residential neighborhood by the Canal du Midi (at an interest) the access to downtown (restaurants \/ shops) which complicates.

A very warm welcome by the family, with lots of explanation and valuable tips by Hugeu. Accommodation absolutely perfect, what a view of Carcassonne and that from the pool! Great. Ideal location for sightseeing and there is plenty of castles, vineyards, monasteries, swimming, wakeboarding, swimming in the river, canal du midi. Great leave.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and got a tour through and around the house. Also told the owner what there was to do in the area. The view from the house and pool on the Cité (old castle complex) is fantastic. It is lovely to stay in the garden and bqq place. We were 6 adults and had all the space. What you are going to do in the area is of course different for everyone. We have visited beautiful villages and cities. Tourlouse is a must. The lock complex in the Canal de midi is fun. Visiting a few vintners and later drinking the bought wine at home gives a prolonged holiday feeling.

Sandra Kerckhoven
We were very pleasantly welcomed by the owner. He gave us many tips about what we definitely had to visit in Carcassonne. The accommodation was perfectly fine and very well maintained. Everything from material was present (material in the kitchen, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer). The bathroom was cool with the walk in shower. The pool is very clean and very cool and of course the jacuzzi. The area is beautiful with a beautiful view of the castle! It is really ideal to unwind and relax, highly recommended! You can visit a lot and Carcassonne is a beautiful region!
