The villa exceeded our expectations! The decor was modern and stylish, and the layout was perfect for our group. Most evenings we spent lounging by the pool and enjoying the sunset view. The proximity to Trèbes made it easy for us to find charming restaurants along the Canal.

We enjoyed barbecuing on the terrace while the kids played in the garden. Just a few minutes' drive from Carcassonne, it was convenient for our excursions.

Beautiful location with a lot of privacy, hence many beautiful places to visit, of course, if you have a car. You mainly hear the passage of cars during peak hours; afterwards, it’s manageable. Major downsides are the maintenance work and noise disturbance from the pool, aging of the sinks causing leaks in one of the bathrooms, but that can all be resolved, of course.

We were in this house for the second time, as it is very nicely located and offers a private pool. Unfortunately, the cleaning service was very poor this time. There were cobwebs everywhere, and on the cabinets, you could partly see exactly where it had been wiped. The extractor hood was completely dirty with grease. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of not reporting this immediately but only after a week. Initially, we did some cleaning ourselves. We received feedback from the responsible supervisor on site that it is now too late. As mentioned, we gladly accept this as our mistake. A few days later, we received an automated email from Bevilla regarding how our stay is going, along with a so-called emergency contact. We described the condition of the house once again in this email, along with a request for remedy. We received no response to this email. Too bad. Customer friendliness looks different to us. We would no longer choose Belvilla as an intermediary. The house itself has aged a bit and needs renovation in some areas. Those who can overlook these shortcomings can spend a very private vacation here in a beautiful setting. The only disturbance comes from cars and sometimes trucks that drive along the road directly adjacent to the garden.

Nice and spacious house, felt at home right away. Large plot and beautifully landscaped garden both at the front and back of the house. Enjoy the nice weather on the sunbeds by the pool. Good quality furniture and equipment available.
As mentioned before, there are a few small things to fix up in the house.
It would also be nice if there were mosquito nets in the bedroom.
Quiet area and well located for excursions.
Large supermarkets within a 10-minute drive.
It was a pity that it was not cleaned properly. There was a lot of dust under the bed, the countertop was very sticky, the refrigerator was not clean, there was a lot of food leftovers between the cushions on the couch, the dryer was full of dust (risk of fire).
It would be useful if it was reported in advance that the maintenance man would come for the pool, now we suddenly saw someone walking around the pool.
We were surprised that we received a message on the last evening that the cleaning lady would come the next morning at 9 am. I think it would be better if this could be done a bit later.

There was also a lot of bird droppings on the terrace. We cleaned the terrace ourselves. After a phone call, the pool was tip-top again during the week. Nevertheless, a must in a beautiful region!

Enjoyed two weeks at Villa on the Rocks in Malves-en-Minervois. Lovely villa with everything you need on holiday. Space, tranquility and spacious swimming pool. Inside and outside just as beautiful as in the pictures. All modern amenities like home. Definitely recommended and a good contender to return. Shop within walking distance for small foodstuffs including daily fresh (baguette) bread. Furthermore, large Carrefour at 20 minutes by car. Nice village of Trebes 10 minutes by car with, among other things, a good fish restaurant ..

It is now the 2nd time that we spend our leave in Villa On the Rocks. The house is very nicely decorated, beautiful location and very quiet. A better guide to using the TV would be very welcome, because we were only able to watch it on Wednesday, after the help of the TV guy. We will definitely be back!

What a great house in a great place. The house is so spacious that you can relax in it alone. Three large bedrooms (all doubles, one even with another sofa bed), with lots of storage space. A well-equipped kitchen. A living room with beautiful views of the hills around. The private pool was great too. We had the heating turned on the day before we arrived and despite being early in the season (April / May) we were able to swim outside, although it was chilly. The location is also nice, with Carcassonne and the accompanying large supermarkets more than fifteen minutes away. On clear days we could see the Pyrenees. Also nice that there is a Dutch manager, who was easily accessible by telephone in case of minor problems (WC did not continue but there was a second WC).

Beautiful garden and pool, once a week to clean the pool is a little bit. I would like to mention but this is more intended for our predecessors from the end of August. That it is a shame to leave cutlery, plates etc.. so dirty. We were allowed to wash everything and everything. Shop in Malves and Minervois is not much. It is best to get bread at Firmin in Trebes an the super U. Furthermore, very beautiful surroundings and nice villages to discover. Restaurants Le moulin in Trebes and au 4 vent in Carcassonne are recommended.

Quiet environment and well located for outings. Large supermarkets are a 10-minute drive away. It was a pity that it wasn't cleaned properly.
