beautiful and calm retreat
The grange is a very comfortable house in a beautiful location. There is lots to see and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. We were there in the winter and could not enjoy the huge garden and the pool but intend to revisit in the summer!

Relaxing pool holiday in nature.
What was not so good:
a) The Grange (and the bedroom) is located approximately 20m from the road passing by the property, which is not visible in the pictures. Especially at night when it is very quiet, a passing car can be quite noisy. (However, cars rarely pass by at night. There is minimal rush hour traffic in the morning). Not a problem for people who sleep well.
b) Approximately 20m next to the Grange is the wastewater treatment plant. During our stay, it had a defect and emitted a pungent sewage smell at regular intervals. This was particularly unpleasant in the bathroom and bedroom, even though the smell dissipated after 4 minutes. According to the landlords, the defect should now be fixed. The Grange advertises as a "luxurious holiday home." We find this to be exaggerated. Nevertheless, the Grange is functional, lovely, and partially exceptionally furnished. d) a normal filter coffee machine was (unfortunately) not available for us, but there was a Senseo coffee machine.
What was particularly good:
a) the exceptional great, large, and clean pool. The sunbed area with shade and sun spots and enough loungers was great.
b) a beautiful, large, well-kept property.
c) the main windows of the Grange (bedroom and kitchen) had insect screens.
d) the Grange is located in a shady area. Bedrooms are on the ground floor, providing a pleasant coolness at night. Yet, the terrace also gets sunny.
e) a very well-equipped kitchen. Cooking yourself is no problem.

Holiday at the Moulin
In June 2013, we spent our two-week holiday at the Moulin in Roquetaillade. In the beautiful, tastefully and lovingly furnished holiday flat of our landlords, we immediately felt at home. The stay in this cleverly planned and comfortable accommodation was pleasant throughout. In addition, there was the beautiful pool area where we could switch off from everyday life and, above all, our landlady who, in her friendly and uncomplicated way, unobtrusively ensured that we really had everything we needed for our well-being.

Answer from Mrs. A. Summa-Duncan:

The best vacation in southern Europe we ever had.
Let's not focus on the extraordinary things of this region that every guidebook offers such as castles, landscapes, wine, which are indeed fascinating, but let's dedicate ourselves to the immediate surroundings of Ariane and David:
simply fantastic, a southern flair combined with Central European comfort, this pairing is probably unique.
recommend for: adventure and experience, seniors, holiday with children, cultural and sightseeing holiday, romantic holiday
Vicinity of the holiday home: viel Platz, einfach herrlich, naturnah und gepflegt und trotzdem zentral gelegen
