We had a great time at Villa Tranquille, The garden was beautifully arranged and perfect for grilling, The kids loved the pool, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet, A bit far from the hustle and bustle, but that’s exactly what we wanted, We would gladly return.

What an incredible stay! The spacious villa was perfect for our family vacation. We spent our days by the private pool and enjoyed the beautiful views of the mountains. The nearby town of Limoux offered charming cafés, and the local wine was a highlight. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and large house, with all amenities. Nice garden, nice swimming pool, beautiful view. In a closed room upstairs, the light automatically turns on in the evening, which is a bit of a shock the first time.
The double beds could do with a new mattress. And in high season we paid a high price for the house, and to have to pay extra for bed linen and towels we found rather exaggerated.

The villa largely complies with the photos and the text. The location is unique, the tranquility is fantastic. Is it regional or is it the time of year, but we are bombarded by mosquitoes and other small insects that sting us painfully.

The arrival went very smoothly. Birgit is a very friendly, jovial woman who clearly explains all the facilities. There was a bottle of bubbles in the fridge to welcome us. The dog biscuits were also greatly appreciated by us. The accommodation is spacious and has a beautiful view. You can stream your own shows via the TV. There was a welcome pack for washing up and the house was clean. This ensures that you do not have to incur additional costs. The pool is large and perfect for the hot days. The only downside we found was the quality of the beds. One of the upstairs rooms was locked. In the evenings, the lights went on here every time. The first night this was a bit faded. We found the city of Limoux not that pleasant. We did not feel safe. There are also few sights. The location is ideal for other places attend.

It is within walking distance, but then it is quite a climb back.Carcassonne can be reached within half an hour by car, or even by train (with advance booking for 1 euro pp).

Yesterday it was 37 degrees here, also very hot at night. We noticed that there is an air conditioner in the house. The lady who handed us the key said that the air conditioning would not be fixed until next week, come on. There is no mosquito net available. So the windows and doors must remain closed. Still sad and distressing.

Belvilla were easy to deal with, clear instructions on what to do when you arrive and leave the villa, The villa itself was very clean with all the facilitis you would need for a family of 5,
