Enjoy a luxury holiday with villa Tranquille in beautiful Limoux. This spacious six-bed villa has a private pool and phenomenal views over the village and the mountains beyond. The villa has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and internet access. The various terraces offer plenty of seating areas. At this villa you have optimal privacy.
Located in the heart of the 'Land of the Cathars'. Surrounded by the mountains of the Corbières. Close to the famous Cathar castles of Montsegur, Peyrepertuse and Queribus and close to the Spanish border. The villa is on the outskirts of the city of Limoux where great wines come from and also the Blanquette de Limoux. Limoux is a nice cosy town to visit. For example, every year a Carnival festival is organised in the city. There are also numerous interesting cultural sights, such as the Pont-Neuf de Limoux. This ancient bridge dates back to the 18th century AD. Remnants of various fortifications from the 14th century are also visible in several places in the city. The Notre-Dame de Marceille basilica is also definitely worth a visit. Limoux is a good base for a wonderful holiday in the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
From the garden, you have views of several mountain ranges, including the sacred mountain Pic de Bugarach. According to 'experts', the world would perish in 2012 because the Mayan calendar ended in that year. Only at this special mountain would salvation be found. The house has air-conditioning and fiber internet facilities also available.

The house itself is neat, well cleaned.
Yesterday it was 37 degrees here, also very hot at night. We noticed that there is an air conditioner in the house. The lady who handed us the key said that the air conditioning would not be fixed until next week, come on. There is no mosquito net available. So the windows and doors must remain closed. Still sad and distressing.

The house and the location are great! There is a lot of privacy to enjoy the pool or to have breakfast or dinner outside and the view is super. The hosts are very nice and will help you with any question. For a house in this price range you’d expect better beds. The doubles are small sizes and the frame of our bed was so bad we put the matrass on the floor in the end. That did the trick and we slept fine…

nice view, nice refreshing pool, nice welcome and good explanation. Full darkening possible with roller shutter. only downside, umbrellas need to be replaced but this stay is a must.

The arrival went very smoothly. Birgit is a very friendly, jovial woman who clearly explains all the facilities. There was a bottle of bubbles in the fridge to welcome us. The dog biscuits were also greatly appreciated by us. The accommodation is spacious and has a beautiful view. You can stream your own shows via the TV. There was a welcome pack for washing up and the house was clean. This ensures that you do not have to incur additional costs. The pool is large and perfect for the hot days. The only downside we found was the quality of the beds. One of the upstairs rooms was locked. In the evenings, the lights went on here every time. The first night this was a bit faded. We found the city of Limoux not that pleasant. We did not feel safe. There are also few sights. The location is ideal for other places attend.

This house is fantastic. Spacious, modern, well-equipped kitchen, living room and bedrooms. And a great view. Limoux is a lively place, with several restaurants and terraces. It is within walking distance, but then it is quite a climb back.Carcassonne can be reached within half an hour by car, or even by train (with advance booking for 1 euro pp).

House was clean and tidy, plenty of space and had all the facilities required. on a negative point, the beds were small and the bed sheets were too small for the bed making it a an uncomfortable sleep.

As usual, the house and our stay were very good again, Mr. and Mrs. Lentjes have also assisted us in a very nice way when it was necessary, that we ourselves could not go to the fuse box was a bit tricky, the power went out a few times and so we had to bother these people a few times,

Excellent reception by a very friendly lady. Villa is fully equipped and very spacious. Great beds. Three bathrooms. View is formidable. Swimming pool maintains a good temperature thanks to the roller screen. The environment is ideally suited for walkers and experienced cyclists.
