What a fantastic getaway! The farmhouse is beautifully preserved, with charming wooden beams and that ancient fireplace that adds so much character, We appreciated the peace and privacy, perfect for our family, The kids loved exploring the garden and the nearby countryside trails, Definitely a place we'd love to revisit!

The farm is a hidden gem! Clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. It was a bit cold at night without central heating, but the wood stove worked well once it was lit. The surrounding countryside is perfect for scenic walks. Highly recommended for families or groups!

We had a wonderful time at this historic farm, Enough space for our group, and the kids had fun running around the garden, The hosts were very welcoming and we felt at home, A great base for exploring the Loire region, especially the medieval village of Chinon just a short drive away.

Our stay at the 18th-century farmhouse was simply charming! The combination of rustic charm with modern amenities made it perfect for our family getaway. Each room was spacious and had its own bathroom, which was a big plus with the kids. We loved spending afternoons in the garden and exploring the peaceful countryside. The nearby castles and wineries added a nice touch to our trip. Highly recommended for families looking for a unique getaway!

We had a wonderful week! Beautiful house and we felt very welcome by Wendy! Despite the mediocre weather, there was plenty to do in the area and we received great tips for both beautiful places and villages to visit, as well as for activities like the futuroscoop! Highly recommended!!!

What a fantastic stay we had! We were welcomed by the hosts and felt at home right away. We had the largest accommodation with six people and a dog: a beautifully authentic and renovated house. The other accommodations are for smaller groups but beautifully arranged and built. The garden is completely fenced, so our children and dog could play very nicely and safely in the garden. The surroundings are also beautiful and quiet. Poitiers is a nice town to visit, and Wendy has plenty of tips if you want to go somewhere or are looking for a restaurant. All in all, highly recommended!

The kids loved the nearby lake for swimming and playing. Just a note: Remember to bring your own firewood if you want to use the stove in winter!

All of them only to do by car. We (family with 3 large children) were in the main part of the house and that was wonderful. Many read and diapered thanks to the filled bookcases in the house. We had a pleasant stay at this historic farmhouse. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to visit local attractions like the medieval town of Chinon and Futuroscope. The place was clean and had everything we needed, although it took a little time to get used to the wood stove for heating. Overall, a good choice for a quiet weekend.

The house was not cleaned properly. Oven, fridge and floor was still dirty, lots of flies in the house and it smelled very dusty and unclean. There was also no freezer at the fridge (as stated in the description). But the environment made everything good and was super! Nice, quiet and lots of fun activities. Adventure park, le Puy du fou, the fort of Chinon, Futuroscope, ...

After a long drive we were warmly welcomed by Wendy and Maarten, it is recommended to make use of the offer to let them take care of dinner on the arrival day! We were in the large house with 8 people, very spacious and the large veranda is really ideal! The veranda is a real guarantee for long dining and playing many games! In short, if you are looking for a spacious location, this is definitely recommended! Wendy and Maarten know the area well and can provide you with good and fun tips to do in the area! We have enjoyed 2 weeks here.
