This heritage 1-bedroom cottage is in Saint-Jean-de-Sauves. It is ideal for a family and can accommodate 4 guests. This cottage has a private terrace for you to sit back and enjoy a lovely glass of wine with your loved one.
The town centre lies 3 km from the cottage. Dine out at the nearest restaurant, just 10 km from the stay. Play a friendly match with your loved ones at the tennis court, only 3 km from the property. The local grocery stores are 3 km from the cottage in case you are out of your essentials.
You can relish a delicious platter of barbecue with your family in the furnished garden (shared). The cottage offers a cot, play equipment and a high chair for the little ones to enjoy. A wood stove is in place for your comfortable stay. Parking is provided on the premises for a hassle-free stay. You can bring 1 pet, for a nominal charge, to stay.
The house is only heated by a gas stove. During the winter months (October to April inclusive) you pay extra for this; this is settled in the service costs that you pay in advance. The accommodation is not heated in any other way. The wood stove provides sufficient heating for the entire accommodation.
You can park your car on the spacious car park adjacent to the garden and accessible through the garden gate. You can transport your luggage to and from the car with the cart.
You can check-in from 4-6 PM and check-out from 9-10 AM.

This charming 18th-century estate consists of a main building (sleeping up to 8 guests) and two cottages/gites (each sleeping up to 4 guests), making it extremely suitable for several families travelling together.
There is space for 16 people in total.
But individually the holiday homes are great places to stay as well.
There is a communal garden, which is large enough to guarantee everybody's privacy.
Each accommodation also features a private terrace and entrance.
The estate is fully enclosed and has ample parking space.
The perfect place for people looking for peace and quiet. The direct surroundings are ideal for walking, cycling and the location also makes a good base for visits to the large variety of interesting sights in the area.
Major attractions include the castles and wineries of the Loire to the north and the Futuroscope amusement park to the south, but also the popular Puy du Fou theme park.
There's an organic garden at 150 metres of the estate (Les Trois Noyers). This garden is managed locally and it supplies quite a few restaurants throughout the region with its products. The garden features 130 different types of heirloom tomatoes as well as other fruit and vegetables. Products are for sale on site as well.
Charming small-scale holiday park on the edge of the authentic village of Fontenay Sur Dive. Centrally located in between Chinon and Poitiers.

Nice old part of a farm, a part in the house and two separate houses. Have cycled a lot but electrically because it is up and down a hill. Very quiet area.

Arrival went very smoothly, directions were good and we could easily find the key. The accommodation is a nice, cozy French house. Nice and cool, in the heat (outside 35 degrees). Basic decor, but that was also what we had chosen. The beds we found a bit on the hard side. The accommodation outside is great and beautiful. Nice big garden, so feeling safe. We have several evenings "edbq" ed, games and bicycles available (the latter in consultation with the owner). The environment is great, no foreign number plate (cars) seen, We really went to the French countryside. Seen beautiful churches and the castle of Doornroosje. Plenty to do, something for everyone.

We had a great holiday with great weather! A large garden and (almost) every morning breakfast in the outdoors.We even had a few bikes available. The house has a simple yet tasteful décor and is situated in a peaceful rural setting. Beautiful, simple house with all amenities. The cozy garden was fenced, which was perfect for the children and the dog. The region is not touristy at all. You are in real rural France. Unique! The owners of the cottage are very sympathetic and helpful people. We received a warm welcome.

Good communication regarding arrival. Easy way to transfer the key. Simply furnished house (but we knew that). Just a pity that it was not cleaned equally well everywhere. Beautiful environment.

Immediately a warm welcome on location, very friendly hostess / host. A very cozy and complete house with a spacious top floor. Private parking space and grounds are nicely sized so that you are not bothered by other guests at all. Peaceful countryside setting but plenty to do for the family (2 children)
