Excellent Accommodation + Service

We had big concerns whether everything would work out. Everything was perfect. And we are familiar with the holiday home settlement. Everything was so well organized for us, and the house was in a great location, right in the middle, so that we could have a wonderful vacation. The property is beautifully large, and our little dog could also be with us. This way, one remains wonderfully distanced from everyone else. It is important to us to be undisturbed. The access to the beach was so close (100 meters) that we didn't have to walk long distances to the water. The landlady made the preparations so easy for me and took care of everything at all times. Thank you again for that! The house was handed over to us tidy and clean.

Very nice vacation in a thatched roof house.

Everything worked out perfectly, the house is modern and functional, the location is excellent. The house is located right on the beach. Communication with the landlords and the caretaker was good. I would gladly come back.

Leider enttäuschend

I can unfortunately only agree with other vacationers: functional/cheap furnishings, an investment property, not properly cleaned (e.g., urine stains on the mattress), the third double bed was not really one, garden was neglected, etc. Location, however, was excellent!
Nevertheless, I will not book again.

Girls' trip 2021

We have rented this house for the 2nd time. We 4 girls ( ;o) ) had a great time there and felt comfortable. The location is just great, close to the beach 100 m and everything is easily accessible on foot. Drain in the lower shower was clogged. Was fixed by the caretaker. Communication worked out great. Thanks to Mrs. Klinger! We would love to come back again!!!

Beautiful holiday home but unfortunately problems with the landlord.

The holiday home is functional and impresses with its superb location near the Baltic Sea. Unfortunately, we have not yet received a security deposit statement to date (5 months after the promised date in the rental agreement), despite our request via email. When contacted by phone, the landlady said she would take care of it, but that was over 2 months ago. This unprofessional behavior by the landlady tarnishes the good impression of the house.

Vacation with 3 adults and a small dog.

It is a beautiful house, which is functional but has everything vacationers need. The beach chair and the garden furniture are in very good condition. The rooms are simply furnished but everything is in top condition. Mrs. Bingenheimer always responded quickly and friendly despite multiple inquiries from me. We were very satisfied with this vacation rental.

Super Urlaub

We had a great short break with our 2 small dogs. The holiday home is very nicely furnished, and we felt very comfortable in the house and garden. We will gladly come back to this beautiful holiday accommodation.

Deposit retained without response despite multiple requests!

The condition of the house was unfortunately disappointing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a broken fence, a dilapidated garden shed, and an overgrown garden. The furnishings in the house did not correspond to the price category, appeared to have been haphazardly put together, and were worn out. The beach chair was old and broken, despite inquiring, the wifi did not work, the mattresses were worn and old, resulting in back pain. Despite the wonderful surroundings, we can only advise against renting this property. It is obvious to us that this property is being used to generate capital ruthlessly and that walk-in customers are the target group. This was confirmed by the unjustified withholding of the deposit.

Poor communication / the deposit was never refunded

We spent our holiday in this house from 30.08.18 to 06.09.2018. It is actually a beautiful house in a great location, just a few steps from the beach. Unfortunately, various shortcomings clouded our holiday pleasure, so we cannot recommend this property:
1) Throughout our entire vacation, the Wi-Fi did not work! This was explained as a switch from analog to digital - later I found out that this was not true. 2) Very poor communication with the owner. Frau Bingenheimer was never reachable by email or phone and never called back.
3) Our security deposit was not returned to us, even though the owner had promised and guaranteed it via email. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We would love to come back to Karlshagen, but definitely not to this house.

Familienurlaub nach Wunscch

We rented the house for two weeks and both children and parents were thrilled. The house is well suited for families with small children as it is only around 200 m to the beach. The living kitchen is bright and cozy. Our children made intensive use of the large garden. The terrace is designed in a way that it always gets sun. Garden furniture and a beach chair make the stay in the garden pleasant. Inside, everything is in excellent condition. We only missed two little things: a footstool so that our two three-year-olds can reach the sink better and a storage space for the bicycles, but overall nothing that was absolutely necessary.

Successful vacation

We had a great vacation in Karlshagen with our two children, especially in this beautiful thatched-roof house. The location of the house right on the beach, the lovely large garden, and the tastefully decorated house contributed significantly. The surroundings are fantastic, and the short walk along the beach promenade to the shops in Karlshagen is great. Highly recommended and ideal for families with children.

Dear Mrs. B., we would like to thank you once again at this point. We have thoroughly enjoyed the past weeks in your relatively new thatched roof house and felt very comfortable there. The interior design and living style, the beautifully landscaped large garden, and overall the entire thatched roof house were exactly to our taste. The proximity to the beach is a dream. You step out of the house and practically stand in the sand. Usedom and Karlshagen are also worth a visit in winter. We enjoyed the winter both on the beach and in the cozy thatched roof house. Thank you also for allowing us to bring our little dog. The large fenced property was ideal for the dog. Thanks also to your nice caretaker. She always had an open ear, and we felt very well taken care of. The moments when we sat in your beautiful new and cozy beach basket with a cup of mulled wine and a blanket, listening to the sound of the sea, we will not forget.

Gladly again!

We spent a very nice stay in the holiday home in Karlshagen this fall. The house is in a great location just a few meters from the sea and is lovingly furnished. The bedrooms are especially cozy and the beds very comfortable. The stylish dining area invites you to enjoy meals together.

The contact with the landlady was always reliable and very personable. We felt very well taken care of by the on-site property manager. We will definitely recommend this house, especially since it is very reasonably priced for the comfort.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right.

We spent our vacation in this house from 10.09.15-19.09.2015.
Actually, it is a beautiful house in a great location, just a few steps from the beach.
Unfortunately, various defects clouded the holiday pleasure, so we cannot recommend this property further:
The garden, once designed as a meadow, turned out to be a pathetic moss and weed field. As this does not arise from one day to the next, it is to be assumed that the garden maintenance here is limited to the absolute minimum. There is no fence to the rear neighbor, and the property is also open to the street. Sitting on the terrace is like being on a display, as there is no privacy screen to the rear house. There are only a few plants and trees carelessly placed around. Unfortunately, the beach chair on the terrace also does not invite you to linger. The seating area is dirty and stained with green algae. All in all, not a place where you would like to spend time.
Inside the house, we immediately noticed several patched up and dirty spots on the walls and ceilings. The house is functional but lacks attention to detail everywhere.
Upon our arrival, the caretaker pointed out that the shower door in the upper bathroom does not close properly. Unfortunately, she failed to mention that half of the bathroom is flooded after showering.
The bedroom has a dresser and a clothes hanger, but no wardrobe.
Two frying pans from the kitchen equipment were unusable as the coating was scratched and partly detached. This was already pointed out by a guest in July and had not been replaced by the time of our stay.
Textile breakfast sets were completely dirty, and the dining table was extremely sticky. (Wrong treatment with wax or oil?) One wonders what the final cleaning payment is for.
Throughout our entire vacation, the Wi-Fi did not work! This was commented on with poor reception on the island upon our return.
Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right. In the Dünenresidenz, there are a variety of properties that offer more for the same price and where one can truly feel comfortable. We will gladly come back to Karlshagen, but certainly not to this house.

We spent a very nice vacation in this modern house, very modern high-quality equipment, just to our taste, very nice kitchen furnishings and layout, very large fridge, tasteful decor, nice hosts. In a few steps, you are at the sea.

Great modern holiday home very close to the beach!!

Super nice house, great amenities, fantastic bathrooms, open kitchen with cooking island. We felt very comfortable there and will come back next year. The proximity to the beach is beautiful, especially when you have small children.
