The holiday home is located in a very idyllic setting with a great panoramic view and in an absolutely quiet location above Oehrenstock. The landlady is very nice, welcomed us personally, and gave us an introduction. There are many excursion possibilities in the area. Unfortunately, there is no longer a restaurant in the village, and knowledge of stove heating should be available ;-) We really enjoyed our vacation and can recommend the holiday home. (Our shepherd dog also felt very comfortable)

The holiday home is located very idyllically with a great panoramic view and in an absolutely quiet location above Oehrenstock. The landlady is very nice, welcomed us personally, and showed us around. Many excursion possibilities in the area. Unfortunately, there is no longer a restaurant in the village, and knowledge of oven heating should be present ;-) We really enjoyed our vacation and can recommend the holiday home. (Our shepherd dog also felt very comfortable)

Fantastic place for a weekend retreat! The house was spacious and clean, and the fireplace made it super cozy at night. We took a nice hike on the nearby Rennsteig trail, and it was beautiful. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. The only wish is that there were more places to eat nearby, but we managed with the kitchen. Lovely house in a beautiful setting. Ideal for tranquility and walkers. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess with coffee and cake. The bed was on the small side for us. This is really not 1.60 wide, we suspected it just reached 1.40. If you like cozy and warmth no problem otherwise the sofa bed is a good alternative. From the cottage you can make beautiful walks. Keep in mind differences in altitude and not all hiking trails are easily accessible. At the Heyda reservoir you can make a beautiful circular walk of 7.5 km. For dinner, the guest post Zu Post in Ilmenau is recommended as is the Railroad Steakhouse in Manebach.

a great little house with a beautiful garden, located directly on the hillside. The view was breathtaking. A perfect place to recover from the stress and noise of the big city. The owner is a sweetheart. Never before have we been so warmly welcomed in a holiday apartment. The fact that dogs are not just tolerated here has been shown when our dogs were given a bath opportunity and posted the contact details of the vet in the kitchen. We would like to come again!!!!!!!!

In the house itself is everything you need. The bedroom is small and the bed too. There are many (old) books. They could be better removed in our opinion.

We have to put our house by the owner, a lovely woman who treated us in the cottage on coffee and delicious pastries, showed us many things that we could go and my son they moved there. The stove was warm and easy to create and wood was enough not out of stock. We enjoyed. The messages wonderfully close Ilmenau about 2 km from the cottage where there is a small shopping street. There is plenty to do in the area.

We spent 10 wonderful days in this beautifully decorated cottage which has everything you need for a pleasant holiday. In the garden you can relax when the weather wonderful, great views and especially enjoy the heavenly peace. In addition, it offers plenty of room to romp for pets, which my have done and thoroughly enjoyed both. The area is ideal for beautiful walks. We highly recommend this cottage highly.

Quiet ligging.Prachtig views and a central location for making uitstappen.Thuringen is very versatile and we can certainly aanbevelen.Wel problem is the bunk for two not so young people like us. And sleep next to each other can, but then you disturb your partner when you need to go to the toilet. The cottage Am Heidelberg - part of what was once called a Wochenendesiedlung - offered a panorama as never before, a splendid view of the town of Ilmenau and surrounding mountains. In the large terraced garden, we had many opportunities somewhere to find a spot. . Ms. Schneider prepared us a warm welcome, was helpful but let us also continue do our thing - she feels those things well. The cottage was generously equipped with anything and everything. sleep above the other in bunk beds (the best choice given the space), was getting used to, but has again z "s charm. The forest trails begin at the house and beautiful cities of Erfurt and Weimar are doing excellent. Overall, we had very good at this beautiful spot.

Unfortunately, the booked stay in the holiday home was not as expected. The description of the holiday home and the property no longer really corresponds to reality. The pictures are probably many years old since they were taken. Unfortunately, the garden property does not really invite you to linger and feel comfortable, as a lot of it has become overgrown and therefore has little to do with a beautiful garden. Garden furniture, cushions and grill are clearly showing their age. It is not really fun to use these things and also to feel comfortable and enjoy them. Even the beautiful scenic view can compensate for this. In the house, all the cupboards are so full that unfortunately there is no room left for the holidaymaker's personal belongings. Unfortunately, you have to leave a lot of things in your bag during your stay because there is simply no room. Nice is something else on holiday. Sometimes less is more, especially in a holiday home. The entrance area is already clearly showing its age, very dark and not very inviting. The hallway coat rack is full of unnecessary things and shelves simply fall off when touched. Unfortunately, there is no way to store shoes or jackets you have brought with you. This holiday home may have been very nice in the past and holidaymakers felt comfortable there. At least that is what the entries in the many guest books say. We would also have loved to have found such a great, inviting holiday home with a garden. To make it like that again and to make people want to spend their holidays there, it needs urgent overhaul and renovation both inside and outside. This includes working electrics in the living area. A thorough cleaning of the extractor hood is urgently required. Perhaps some new purchases are worth considering. The only good thing to mention is that the landlady is a nice and friendly person. The cottage is beautifully situated: fantastic views and a spacious (fenced) garden with several seating areas. Our dog loved it too. You can walk straight into the woods behind the house and the Rennsteig is not far away. We did not like the lack of central heating: the cottage is kept warm by a large tiled stove that runs on lignite briquettes and wood. Lots of work when it's cold. The house is also not very big. Reception was warm and cottage is nicely decorated and very clean. Good location when the weather is nice, so you can enjoy the garden and a little less in bad weather. By the way, the cottage is located in Oehrenstock and not in Langeweisen.

The accommodation itself was very nice, plus the large property, perfect for us and the dog. We were also greeted very friendly, and we were suggested many destinations. The house is very quiet, and right on the edge of the forest, so you can start walking right away can, even up to the Rennsteig. We were very satisfied and would love to come back.

Lovely house in a beautiful setting. Ideal for tranquility and walkers. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess with coffee and cake. The bed was on the small side for us. This is really not 1.60 wide, we suspected it just reached 1.40. If you like cozy and warmth no problem otherwise the sofa bed is a good alternative. From the cottage you can make beautiful walks. Keep in mind differences in altitude and not all hiking trails are easily accessible. At the Heyda reservoir you can make a beautiful circular walk of 7.5 km. For dinner, the guest post Zu Post in Ilmenau is recommended as is the Railroad Steakhouse in Manebach.

The cottage is beautifully situated: fantastic views and a spacious (fenced) garden with several seating areas. Our dog loved it too. You can walk straight into the woods behind the house and the Rennsteig is not far away. We did not like the lack of central heating: the cottage is kept warm by a large tiled stove that runs on lignite briquettes and wood. Lots of work when it's cold. The house is also not very big. Reception was warm and cottage is nicely decorated and very clean. Good location when the weather is nice, so you can enjoy the garden and a little less in bad weather. By the way, the cottage is located in Oehrenstock and not in Langeweisen.

The Chalet answered fully to our verwachtingen.Vriendelijke but not opdringere Gastvrouw.Veel cooking utensils and besteck. Quiet ligging.Prachtig views and a central location for making uitstappen.Thuringen is very versatile and we can certainly aanbevelen.Wel problem is the bunk for two not so young people like us. And sleep next to each other can, but then you disturb your partner when you need to go to the toilet. a great little house with a beautiful garden, located directly on the hillside. The view was breathtaking. A perfect place to recover from the stress and noise of the big city. The owner is a sweetheart. Never before have we been so warmly welcomed in a holiday apartment. The fact that dogs are not just tolerated here has been shown when our dogs were given a bath opportunity and posted the contact details of the vet in the kitchen. We would like to come again!!!!!!!!

Very warm welcome by the owner. She knew a lot about the environment and wanted to share this. The area is beautiful and from the house you have a beautiful view of Ilmenau .. In the house itself is everything you need. The bedroom is small and the bed too. There are many (old) books. They could be better removed in our opinion.

It was a successful break for us. We spent a few great days with our dog in this accommodation and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the holiday home on site. Mrs. Schneider, the landlady, gave us a very warm welcome. We are happy to recommend this lively holiday home to others.

The reception was beyond all expectations, very friendly and welcoming. We were given a full explanation of what there was to do and what to visit. The cottage had everything you needed in copious amounts. Only the beds were for me a little on the small side (am 2,03m) But otherwise it was delicious

We have to put our house by the owner, a lovely woman who treated us in the cottage on coffee and delicious pastries, showed us many things that we could go and my son they moved there. The stove was warm and easy to create and wood was enough not out of stock. We enjoyed. The messages wonderfully close Ilmenau about 2 km from the cottage where there is a small shopping street. There is plenty to do in the area.
