A wonderful holiday in a beautiful part of Germany. Alternation of nature, culture and relaxation. A beautiful house (rather small) with a friendly host and hostess. The kitchen is rather small. You have access to only two hotplates and microwave is not a combi. It was sometimes quite equally worrying. The advantage is that you can eat relatively cheap in this area. Beautiful excursions to the Wartburg (Martin Luther), Erfurt (beautiful city) and Buchenwald (impressive). During the hot days it is wonderful to swim in Ilmenau in the beautiful outdoor pool. Then good food in restaurant zur Post in Ilmenau! This is a real winner!
