This 2-bedroom apartment is in the heart of the southern Thuringian forest in Schönbrunn. It has a shared 4-person sauna which invites you to relax in privacy. The accommodation is ideal for small families or groups of friends.
The area is a paradise for adventure lovers. Clearly-marked cycling and hiking trails help you experience the beautiful scenery of the Thuringian Forest. The ski-lift at 6 km has ideal conditions for skiing and snowboarding during winters. Restaurants to savor delicacies, supermarkets, and the town center are at 0.5 km.
The apartment features a tastefully landscaped garden with a sitting & barbecue area where you can enjoy the peace. There is a terrace with a barbecue (on request) which calls for musical nights with grilled meals. You have heating, parking and bicycle storage facilities for comfort.

Check-in was completely hassle-free. The real impression was even nicer than the digital one on offer.
But: Only conditionally recommended for people with walking difficulties, as the parking space is about 120m away. You can drive up to the house for loading and unloading, but the driveway is very steep and narrow. So not for everyone to handle.
Communication with the landlord was good, although we would have liked more information about possible problem areas in advance.

It was a very warm welcome. We were worried when we did not arrive at 18:00. The accomodation was just as nice as shown in the photos. It was super clean, cuddly warm and nothing was missing. Super nice landlord. The property is located in the deepest Thuringian Forest on the Rennsteig. There are so many hiking opportunities that we could not use because my parents are well over 80 and it does not work so much with the running. Nevertheless, we had a great holiday , which revived old memories. Nature in a pure environment. Highly recommended, gladly again.

The GPS sent us to the wrong place, and that was why we had to search for the holiday home. The driveway to her house is a difficult, steep turn, but the welcome from the homeowner was very friendly. He showed us around in the nicely renovated apartment and explained in English and German. The Thuringia Wald is a beautiful, green region with many interesting sights.

We liked the apartment very much. Really EVERYTHING you needed was there! Apartment well equipped. The wifi was good too. The landlord very friendly. Will go there again. The driveway for parking is very steep and narrow; but you get used to it quickly.

Very clean, spacious floor on the ground floor. From the breakfast table a view of the beautiful garden with birdwatchers, among others. bullfinches, black tits and crested tits. Lots of information about the area available.
