With 700-720 metres above seal level, Schnett in Thuringia is one of the highest localities of the upper woodlands, where snow is guaranteed. The charming town is located on Mount Simmersberg's southern slope and from its summit you can enjoy the panoramic views over Thuringia and Franconia. The bubble bath is incredible for some rejuvenation and the house also has floor heating to keep you warm during scorching summers.
This newly renovated holiday home is comfortable and equipped with maximum comfort. Healthy living materials provide well-being throughout the house. The holiday home is located in a traffic-calmed one-way street. In the summer you can park your car right in front of the house, and in the winter you can use the public parking lot, which is approx. 150 metres away. Excellent shopping opportunities for the daily needs are close by. A 5-minute walk takes you directly to the Rennsteig hiking trail.
The comfortable living room invites you to linger. The panoramic view will help you to unwind and forget your worries. You can end your day sitting by the cosy fire burning in the fireplace. Countless possibilities await visitors in the summer as well as in the winter season. At an altitude with a relatively high snow guarantee, one can ski down the slopes without a long wait at the ski lifts. This is a real advantage of the ski areas in the Thuringian Forest, and they are therefore attractive winter sports destinations. Popular excursions: Sea Aquarium Zella Mehlis (25km), Weimar (70km), Erfurt (60km). The Masserberg region offers three ski lift systems in Masserberg, Fehrenbach and Heubach. The extensive net of ski trails, cross-country skiing trails and winter hiking trails as well as a 400-metre long and well-prepared sledging track round off the leisure programs.
The Airport is only 60 km away.

Excellent arrival, beautiful surroundings, next to the house is a ruin present. Parking is on a forest path.

Please note that the House Theresa is tricky to find, but you'll be rewarded with an oasis of tranquility and a great view, perfect for tranquility / walkers and runners.

The house was equipped with everything you need for the holiday that. The house was situated in a great location and the view from the terrace was indescribably beautiful. We felt very comfortable and the property manager was very very nice and helpful. We will definitely not be my last time there.

What a lovely apartment, lovely bright living room and kitchen with a beautiful view. Terrace also very fine. Everything is there, you can be silly not consider whether it is present in the kitchen. Nice bathroom, shower not really suitable for flinkere people but bath makes up for it. Anything less, we found sleeping in the so-called basement, found the smell that musty, but was certainly not up to the cleanliness because there was very clean and tidy too. Wonderfull location and accomedatie!

The house is modern and Theresa just feels good. Recent kitchen, bathroom with Jacuzzi and steam / shower cabin, well-fitting furniture and a nice TV and music system. Terrace with a great view makes it complete. The managers also manage a few other holiday in the area and occasionally come by to see how gaat.De area is very nice, hills and dark forests alternate and makes an excellent hiking area. There are many routes you can take, but walking is recommended. There are also several ruins and castles in the area (unfortunately for us were the most in scaffolding ...). We were very lucky with the weather dry with some sunshine. Only two days 30+ and then you notice the only downside to the house with lots of glass on the sunny side is also within very warm.Al all absolutely not regret to book this house in this area. had a great holiday!

The house is very quiet and located directly on the edge of the forest. The view from the living room is very nice.

The facility did not quite match the beschrijving.Er was a shower and bath only there is no indication that if you want to shower with more than one person behind the other or if a person has the bath and 3 others like briefly to shower not more can, no hot water anymore. If you're offering luxury you should also make use of this meant that there could shower for two people the day or only one person could take a bath and the rest had to shower the other day. Also in the basement where the beds were was bedding all moist when you went to sleep, and later I found out that inside the linen closet at the back was covered in all mold, you may well not smoke in the house where we also specifically chosen but if you have a mild form of COPD and is moisture and mold in your bedroom, this is just as bad, so this resulted in benauwdheids attacks at night. The cutlery and brag spoons were not clean a Senseo machine where the mold was at the bottom of the receptacle. Grass was not mowed and the umbrella was broken every time you turned it popped open the parosol automatic shut. Barbeque that was there was helemaa

A modernly furnished house with fantastic views. Well besides you also other houses, we were lucky that they were not in use, so had an optimal rest. You actually sleep in the basement, the stairs can be an obstacle for people with reduced mobility. Fortunately there is a toilet in the basement. Beautiful area, excellent walking network. Culture such as visiting cities, an hour and a half's drive (weimar)
