Apartment "Angel" on 2 floors in the : 120 m², 2-8 pers.(on request also extra beds possible) complete kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher and large eat-in kitchen. 1 Bedroom with double bed and direct access to shower / WC, 2 double bedroom, look to the glades, 3rd bedroom on the top floor (installation double bed) and 4 bedrooms also in the attic with a built-in double bed and concurrent head of stairs to a further dormitory in roof top. Wonderful for 2 children, good climbing can (no children).

Family reunion
We were looking for an apartment with 4 bedrooms, each with double beds, which is not easy to find. 9 people and a toddler easily had room to eat together thanks to the side table. Two fridges were there - very important with so many people. We like to cook ourselves. Living room cosy. Room for everyone to play dice and games.
The sauna was a great experience - lovingly thought of everything you need to relax there. The landlady had an open ear for all wishes. Very friendly and uncomplicated
We were missing a wooden spoon. But we would have got it immediately if we had asked for it :)
The house is situated in a beautiful valley, but this limits the property very much. Therefore only a small barbecue area. If you want a holiday home with a garden, you have to look elsewhere. The beautiful surroundings and the hiking trails right next to the house made up for it for us ... Even our family dog was happy. Many thanks for everything, Mrs Lyhs

Family holiday
This accommodation and the surroundings are perfect for a family holiday. The apartment offers everything you need for a holiday. It is spacious and offers perfect space with children.
Despite the weather, we used the barbecue area. The children also enjoyed the holiday, even Halloween they could move from house to house here and dust off some sweets.
There are several hiking possibilities from the accommodation, it is also not far to the Rennsteig starting point. The area is perfect for an active holiday.
But culture is not neglected either. All in all, a successful, relaxing holiday.

The vacation rental is simply great. We were looking for a suitable apartment in Thuringia for our family (8 people) and I am glad to have found this beautiful apartment. Mrs. Lyhs is a nice landlady and you could always talk to her. Especially the sauna is really great and the attic with the sleeping nook... The bread delivery service is also a good idea because the nearest bakery is quite far away! Overall, the house is really top-notch!!!! We will definitely come back!

The FeWo Engel is well equipped. The grill in front of the house is guaranteed to tempt you to barbecue Thuringian sausages.
The distribution of bedrooms and living rooms on two levels is ideal for a larger group. The bread service is a great thing. The lovely hostess surprises guests on arrival with a delicious, freshly baked apple strudel.

Holiday apartment Engel is a very nicely furnished apartment where you feel comfortable and have plenty of space. The apartment is very clean and the bread service is great. Mrs. Lyhs was always friendly, and if there was a problem, she was there right away. This accommodation is highly recommended. For hiking enthusiasts, there are many beautiful possibilities and paths. Pets are also very welcome here.

Winterurlaub
After a long search, we were glad to have found a suitable holiday apartment. And we were not disappointed. Super spacious holiday apartment, you can almost get lost! Very good kitchen equipment, several bedrooms, toilets, and 2 showers. What more could you want? We used the sauna and relaxation fireplace room (in the living area of the friendly landlady) with full satisfaction. We also happily used the daily bread service. Otherwise, we can only say, we would love to come back again.

shopping facilities: Ein Miniladen am Gasthof Adler-haben wir aber nicht getestet,nächste kleinere Einkaufgelegenheit in Masserberg.Am besten den größeren Einkauf in der weiteren Umgebung mit einplanen.

The vacation rental is located in the middle of the Thuringian Forest in beautiful nature. From the apartment, you have a direct view of the mountains. The overall exterior impression is convincing and good. The equipment of the vacation rental leaves actually nothing to be desired: it is clean, cozy, and generously furnished (even for 8 adults). For a self-catering weekend, everything you need is available in the apartment. In the garden, there is the possibility to barbecue, which we used in a cozy round. The apartment is located in a small spa town in the Thuringian Forest. We cannot understand the criticism from the previous comment that without a car, there is nothing to do there, as one can inquire about the location of the apartment beforehand. Due to the location, one can, for example, walk to the source of the Werra. And if a river in front of the house is perceived as disturbing and loud, one might want to reconsider planning a vacation in nature. The landlords are very friendly and helpful. The price/performance ratio was also very satisfactory for us. All in all, we cannot confirm the very negative comment. It is a very spacious apartment over two floors with 4 double bedrooms (not easy to find for 4 adult couples (23-55 years)). The apartment is ideal in summer for a relaxing and peaceful short vacation in nature. Highly recommended if you are looking to escape stress, everyday life, and city noise to find peace, nature, and fresh air, and just want to unwind.
